Ref to Nancy, I think sadly Nancy had cancer, was it skin cancer Nancy? as she has the "ribbon" symbol.

Ive just been to a charity auction for breast cancer tonight and it was a great fund rasier. It was a terrible thing for a young mum to die so young, leaving 2 kids aged 6 and 9. It raised aover £2,000. and I brought a few bits and bobs to help. Some people went mad, as it was in aid of charity. and bid £400 for a man for the day!!! as in someones husband who is a builder and would do "odd jobs" around the house!

2. Same as most women are,........ unpaid house godess! also I am the part time manager in a clothing store called NEXT.

Havent been on the Magic yet, but on the Wonder, I loved the moment when I was walking along outside the buffet area on the arft of the ship, and i looked over and saw dolphins swimming along side the boat. That was my first ever "teary" moment of our cruise... there were more to come as we have to leave!

6. I have my nails manicured every 10 days ( is that a hobby? )
now I sound vain ? I'm not honest. I love dissing ( obviously) and I really enjoy football... The faimily supports Manchester United!

9. When Elouise met Tigger at Crystal Palace in Mk, and told him she had waited all her life to meet him... she was only 2 at the time ! ... so cute, I burst into tears!

Thank you everyone for the messages of congratulations for my weight loss. 4lbs isnt a lot I know, but I am really really pleased with myself and I know next week it will slow down a bit, as my body settles into a new routine.

I think I will do well at this diet, as I have kind of "told" everyone and in a way, just saying it out aloud, and on here, has made me stick to it. If you know what I mean


Anyway thanks very much, I have a long way to go, but at least it was 4lbs OFF not ON!

Yes, Linda you are correct. The ribbon actually says Melanoma Awareness. You will never find me in direct sunlight if at all possible. I learned my lesson the hard way. Luckily, I survived it twice.

We have a super busy day tomorrow with 3 parties !

A princess and pirate party , then a football party... then in the evening my friend has her 40th party. She has always wanted to go to a West end show, so for her birthday, I have booked us to see Dirty Dancing on Fri 23rd Nov, then to stay in London for 2 nights and go christmas shopping and sight seeing! She wont know till her party tomorrow, when I plan to tell her after the DJ has played.... " Ive had the time of my life"... song from the film/show! She a great friend so i wanted to get a cool present.... and this way I get to go too !

Just had to share a little excitement...the second dress I ordered to wear to the chef's table arrived this evening and this time it fits quite well! I just need tp get the top taken in a bit (perhaps a new nickname could be bewbless mcgill). **I used bewb because the DIS thinks the properly spelled version is a bad word.**

Anyhoo, just thrilled that this dress fits - it's very pretty and a very flattering cut. Jason should like it very much!

So glad to hear you survived it. My friends and I were so ignorant when it came to sunbathing when we were teens. We actuallly rubbed down with cooking oil! How stupid! Now that I have children, I have tried to be more diligent. My uncle lost his battle with skin cancer two years ago, so I am really careful now--probably still not as good as I should be though. So Nancy, feel free to remind me as many times as you wish when you see me on the trip. Sometimes our family gets so focused on getting to the fun stuff that we remember a little too late about sunscreen.

9. Best Disney moment? DS seeing and talking to Mickey for the first time in his life in DL at 2 1/2. DS says to Mickey, "where have you been, I've been looking for you". It was at the end of the night.
