So sorry Brenda, but I'm glad that you still have a nice outlook on things.
I'm glad you'll still be chatting with us.
It's been a lot of fun reading your posts and I haven't yet got to your trip reports but I am sure I'll enjoy them as well.

Thanks again...you're so sweet. :flower3:

And speaking of trippies...I have managed to so some updating on the argie-bargie if anyone is interested in reading about my laundry issues. :lmao:

I have to go watch some Battlestar Galactica now...see ya later!

Brenda - so verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry sorry to hear you & Jason won't be sailing with us. I was so looking forward to introducing Plankton to our mascot, Travels. I'm so bummed now that you guys can't make it. :sad1: Please continue to post here. It definately won't be the same without you. And it sounds like your cat had decided Plankton needed a new bed to sleep in! ;)

Yum, cheesecake! Olive Garden has a good White Chocolate Raspberry cheesecake dessert. One of my favorites!

Jeff - you're only 23? :rolleyes1 I'm not buying it!

Good night everyone!

How could I not bring Plankton?

When Jay and I broke the news about canceling the cruise we couldn't find him for two whole days...we were worried that he'd packed his bags and moved back to Bikini Bottom.

As I was cleaning house this morning I found him tucked inside an old sweater of mine that our cat likes to use as a sleeping nest...I'm not sure I really want to know how he ended up there. ;)

Now that I read back over this post I'm sure of it... we're certifiably insane at this house. :lmao:

I thought Plankton may have run off to live with Brenda the towel floozie;)

Here's some info for you about the Illuminations cruise:

Pontoon Boats -- Another option for an IllumiNations cruise is a 24-foot pontoon boat, which seats 10 comfortably. The pontoon has a canopy, is roomier, and has some drink holders. When you rent either boat, it belongs to your party for the show; meaning the only people there will be the ones you've invited! The price for a pontoon IllumiNations Cruise starts at $234.74 + tax, for a maximum of 12 people (10 adults). Cost includes a driver, bagged snacks (pretzels, chips, popcorn), water and Coke products. Other food and beverage items are available through Yacht Club Private Dining at 407-934-3160. You may not bring your own food or beverages on board.

RESERVATIONS for all cruises are made by calling 407-WDW-PLAY, between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., up to 90 days in advance. You must provide a credit card to hold the reservation. You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance or your card will be charged.

NOTE: The cruise has gotten very popular, so be sure to call ahead for the reservation.

Thanks Cass:thumbsup2 - looks like we could get 12 in then as long as 2 are children.

Us - 3 (one child)
Dibbers - 2 adults
Brenda/Jason and Plankton (2 insane adults!)

We're up to 7 folks...any more for any more? space for up to 4 adults plus one child.

Hello everyone !!!

Sorry I have been off line for a few days, its been a bit hectic here.
Thank you so much for all the PMs worrying we might be pulling out of the cruise too.

however sorry to disappoint you all, but you are stuck with us, we aint going anywhere.... well just on a fantastic cruise on 20th Oct, with some great mates. :thumbsup2

I havent read all the posts but I was wondering if Brenda would mind if we "adopted" plankton, and took him on the cruise, with all of us????
Bredna we will have to meet up with you to give you your HRH pins, so maybe ( if you are ok with this, it might be like asking Cass to hand over Kira) youo could give Planktonn to me, we will take him on the cruise to the DIS meet etc, and then we can either post him back or perhaps someone who's going back to the world, could give him back to you?
Only a thought... no big deal, but I thought it might be fun for you to see him on hloiday:confused3
There would be so may "poses" he could do.... at the sail away party, sneaking in Palos, ( does he have a tie?) on a sun bed at Castway cay. He could be a DIS mascot !

Off to read all the other posts now............... thanks again everyone, you really are a great bunch of people... love you all XXX

Ok..KK's, I have a few questions.

1) Who and when do we call to get a case of bottled water delivered to our cabin?

2) How do I get my hands on one of the "Happiest Celebrations on Earth" cds? Tried e-Bay but I guess I slept through the bidding time and lost out on it.

3) I would like to send a "Perfect Gift" gift basket to my kids onboard. What things do you think I could ask for to be in their baskets? Tony is 26, Stacy will be 24 as we cruise. Then in the other cabin is Kristin 23 and Jesse 26.

Thanks:yay:

Nancy, I have the Happiest Celebration on Earth CD, I could copy it for you? Would that help ?:confused3 is it leagal ???? do I care ??:confused3 :confused3 :rotfl:
All the other ideas for the gift baskets are spot on!
Definately lip balm and hair conditioner for the girls, beer. rum for the boys ! Wheres there stateroom, is there a party ??? ;)

OK THINK I have caught up.....

Judy, thanks for the congrats for the belt, Wow Kaitie to be black belt at 12, that would be amazing ...... you must be very proud. And go girl for you doing karate too... top stuff. Elouise had to do 10 press ups for part of her grading, now that would be a chalenge for me ! :rotfl:
Hope your family feel better real soon.

Paige, good luck for your dad surgery on the 15th, will be thinking of you and sending positive vibes.

Nancy, hows your Mum? Dust stuff to her too.

Tina, with the PJ party, these things tend to happen quite a bit at school i think. You shouldnt blame yourself, after all sadly its like real life, sometimes things just dont work out,but your daughter soon got back up and forgot about it. so no big deal, after all. Arent kids great at making you feel soooooo bad, and then not even being that bothered, while as parents we beat ourselves up about it !

Brenda and Jeff, glad you are still posting on here, it wouldnt be the same without you guys. :grouphug:

Chris, glad Chelsea draw as well, make them have another replay, fingers crossed tire them out for the league games.

Karen, any news on the house or new school for Ellis front?

Hope I havnet forgotten anyone................

Brenda, jay never let it be said am nothing other than a man,it was i,am the person who reported you for your treatment of plankton, not only have you crushed his dreams and held back his socializing skills you have openly encouraged him to form a unhealthy relationship with a feline acquittance of yours. Were you wear in some situations, social workers or Police can use a warrant to remove a plankton from your home. A warrant is issued by the Court or a Justice of the Peace. This only occurs when a cruise mate or Police officer has good reason to suspect that a mascot or young plankton is in danger of harm, suffering from ill treatment, neglect or deprivation.

If necessary, Police are allowed to use force to remove the mascot or young plankton. .....You've been warned Missy...HAND HIM OVER or face the consequences......

ps...Ryan's Mr bear and Rosie's flopsy send their love and solidarity from across the pond, they too were unloved and neglected before being rescued from a hospital gift shop some 12/5 years ago......:)

What have I done ????:confused3

Where are you all ?

OK our American mates are still asleep... no excuse !

Well while im on my own, I will bore you with our plans for Easter.
We have booked a big static caravan in Exmouth Devon ( south west coast of UK,place with nice sandy beaches) now i've mentioned beaches, its bound to rain !

We have booked up a 8 berth caravan with our friends, so there are 4 adults and 2 kids. Elouise is VERY excited that her and Kyle can share a room... midnight feasts are being giggled and whisphered about ! :rotfl:

It looks on a great site, next to the beach, there is also a Decleor spa! :) so Sam and I have booked our treatments already! Boys will have to baby sit, sure they wont mind, there is crazy golf and arcade, plus a bar. We plan to take a kite and try and fly it.

whats everyone else planning?

Fat fella is still here dear,Karen/Cass thanks for the expansion as to what the cruise was about, you know sometimes a wonder have we ever even been to this place "Disney" before as everybody knows far more and See's way more than we'll ever see...:rotfl2: we must be the family who walk round with the swollen feet and are eyes shut.....:lmao:

ps...Has anyone done the HOT AIR BALLOON OVER THE PARK RIDE?....:)

Chris not sure if you are taking the P about the Hot air balloon ride over the park???:confused3

However................ before 9/11 we did a hot air balloon ride with orange bloosom trails, and we didnt go over the castle but more alongside. I even took pictures of the castle, and from the angle I took it, I got away with telling my niece I was on a magic flying carpet when I took the picture:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It was great fun, we flew over lots of the parks and villas and land then we kind of bumped into a tree a bit, to slow us down!:scared1: we then had a smoothish landing and went to a hotel for a champage breekie !

note, do not go with a sun burnt head, those bunsor type burner things put out alot of heat, and you may spend alot of the trip with your hand on your head, to stop your head stinging ! :rotfl:

HAVE YOU BEEN TALKING WITH MY SON?....We went to Malta a few years ago it was my first holiday without my blond locks:rolleyes1 i got up the next day with my head covered in what can only be described as cradle cap like what babies get,and my wonderful kids never stop saying "cover up baldie"...And yes it did bloody hurt...:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

And no am serious about the hot air balloon but whenever i try and talk about with the kids i get all "as long as you stay still and don't move about" jokes...little gits....:rotfl2:

The Americans are waking!! Surprise, surprise, I'm the first one here.:surfweb:

Linda, thanks for the offer on the cd. Chuck ended up buying it for me off of eBay yesterday. I'm so impatient when I want something aren't I??:snooty:

Chris, great idea about Plankton. Since the Brits & Canadians will be there long before the cruise and might even have the pleasure of running into Brenda, I think it's up to you to snag the youngster and bring him on the cruise. Us late arriving Americans will make sure that the little guy returns to his home in O'Fallon after (lonnnnnnnggggg after) the cruise.:yay:

Hope everyone has a great day (evening..to our friends across the pond)

Morning Nancy dear,it was Mrs Lindy "lush" who came up with the IDEA (i suspect it's because she's looking for a drinking partner for when we've all cried enough,"come on plankie let's hav another ")But a cracking idea all the same.....Brenda SET THE LITTLE FELLA FREE.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hi everyone.

Yep, we too have been up with orange blossom balloons twice - great company.....the only thing I would warn you though- they will ring you at 4.30am whether the weather is suitable or not:eek: - honestly - they called us every day for a week to tell us it was off:confused3 - they didnt seem to grasp that we only wanted waking when it WAS on. It is a great experience though - highly recomended.

I too am happy to be an honary Auntie to Plankton. I promise to supervise any dates with the "Brenda the towel floozie" and keep her at arms length.;)

Lindy - sort of got house news... we have had a great offer on our house but the woman has only just gone on the market herself so still in limbo. We offered yesterday on our new one and then upped the offer this morning so we are still waiting to hear if that one has been accepted.:confused3

I'm off on a school trip to watch traffic in 20 minutes! - yep - walking to a usy junction and counting cars - DOES IT GET ANY MORE EXCITING THAN THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you later

Have you guys tried the Amaretto Cheesecake on the cruise???? I think it's served on the seafood night...ooooooooh my, I dream about it

Thanks Cass, I will have to try it.

Hi folks

Dont know if anyone is interested but I am trying to get a boat full for a wishes cruise either on 14/15 or 16 Oct. The boat is $250 I think and it holds 10 people. I already have a couple from The Dibb and the 3 of us so there are 5 spaces left if anyone is interested. I havent checked availabilty or anything yet - just seeing if we can fill the boat first. You get soft drinks and snacks onboard. The only thing is you wouldnt be able to eat nuts onboard the boat cos of Ellis, but other snacks are fine.

Please let me know if you are interested as I have posted it on the Dibb too.

Oh Karen...any other time and I'd bite your hand off. Unfortunately, we don't arrive until 18th, and have plans for all day on 19th including dinner at Chef Mickey in the Contemporary, so won't be able to accept your offer. Hope you have a fantastic time anyway.

Heather

Well, I'm back from our exciting school trip:banana: . We counted lorries, buses, cars and vans:banana:

One kid cracked me up cos he asked the teacher "what category should I put a minibus taxi in?" - he's only 6 bless him.

Yet another viewing at 6.30pm tonight. Lets hope this one is actually in a better position and wants to buy it tomorrow! Better go and hoover I suppose:rolleyes: - cant wait til we move so I can stop cleaning again:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: - I'm spending a fortune on fresh flowers too:lmao: . I gave up cooking cookies after the 2nd viewing - sod that - they were making me even fatter!

Its really good fun and not at all scary. Very smooth and peaceful - apart from when they brush the tree tops and dip the baskets bottom in the little lakes nearby.:scared1: We got so close to the trees we could pick leaves off as we went over them....didnt fancy picking anything out of the lake though:scared1:

We actually wore our t shirts from the 1st trip on the 2nd trip - he asked us how long we'd had them cos they hadnt made grey ones for 2+ years:rotfl: - he gave us a white one as a gift in exchange for the 3 years worth of free advertising!:rotfl: Didnt like to tell him they only ever get worn is when we're in Florida:rolleyes1

Chris - its very hit and miss as to which way you travel, on both of our trips we've been near Disney but not that close. We could make out Epcots ball etc but not close enough to grab Mickey by the ears and haul him in the basket:lmao: :lmao: - how cool would that be! - "Mickey kidnapped by UK basket maniacs!"
