Found these luggage tags at an antique store for a dollar each! I bought them all! lol I am attaching them to our luggage right now...who cares if we don't leave for 28 days...

Nice! We booked a package through Disney, so hopefully ours will come soon.

Our family is getting so excited that we're all a little manic at this point. Every day I come home to hear Disney music, see Disneyland YouTube videos, or see my family looking through Disneyland books. WE. ARE. READY.

Well, we're mostly ready. We're flying to LA from Indiana with two children (10 & 7), and I've put together a Pile O' Distractions.

Here's what we have so far...

• iPod Touches for each kid. Games. Movies.
• iPad for movies with a headphone splitter, for when they are getting along.
• Rubik's Cube 2x2 for the flight out
• Rubik's Cube 3x3 for the return flight, for when they're Rubik's experts on the 2x2 .
• Journals & Coloring Books with colored pencils
• Gum

Any other good ideas?

Eeeeeek! Ok, so long story short. We were originally staying at DLH Tues, Wed, Thurs. (October 11-14). Realizing that our 4 hour drive was really going to put a damper on our Tuesday...so I convinced my DH to drive down on Monday! When I went to finally book a room, everything was booked! So I settled for the Anaheim Marriot. Due to stumbling upon a little extra cash, I was really hoping to stay at DLH and was becoming disappointed with the whole staying at a different hotel thing (especially since my sister will already be at the DLH). Anyways.....I woke up this morning and instinct told me to check the website and Voilà- there was one little ole standard room on Monday night!! Boom!!!! I could NOT be more excited for this trip!! Monday-Friday at the DLH, new APs! MHP, WOC Dessert Party! OMG....I'm bursting!!!!

It is a bit more fun and exciting when everything falls into place and you get to enjoy not just Disneyland but the little extras as well.I too will be getting to enjoy some extras including the party, the special BB dinner with parade seating, a custom birthday cake deliver to the BB, and a few other things. I always love disney but when you can manage to get all the detasils worked out just the way you want them and add a little extra magic it is priceless.

Which character dining are you going to do? Last year was our first time going and we had so much fun, but we were woefully unprepared! I didn't even KNOW about the EPIC PTN parade and EPIC fireworks show they were doing for the 60th! I can't believe I missed it. We did Goofy's Kitchen and Ariel's Grotto last year and both were great, in their own way. Are you doing the Halloween Party?

This sounds like me but for the next week! I attempted to do a bunch of changes in order to take advantage of the Canadian discount on tickets. We were just going to stay the 3 days at DLH instead of the 4 we had booked as part of the package (which I had to cancel to get the ticket rate). So the CM booked my room only for the three nights and I asked her if it would be possible once she'd cancelled the vacation package, to just see if the room happened to come up right away and it did! Even she was surprised! Yay for a nice little savings on our tickets. And we are also doing MHP and the WOC Dessert Party. I am getting so excited!

Camelot is a good hotel. It's main draw for us is the closeness. Nothing beats staying directly across the street!

Not too much longer before our trip! I'm going crazy counting down the days. I keep saying each day "only xx more days and and we'll be in Disneyland at this exact moment!!!!" It's a good thing my family is just as excited, otherwise they would probably be annoyed with my constant "can you believe we're going!?!?!?!?!" questions!

We went to Six Flags on Sunday and I ended up with Heat Exhaustion/Heat Stroke. I am still having problems from it. I had a seizure Sunday night. The intense pain has put me way behind schedule on getting ready for our trip. I have a bunch of shirts to make and still have to order our birthday cake. I also need to set up something special for my daughter, as she is turning ten during our trip. I still have to figure out what I want to do. I also need to get out and get more gift cards.

Did I mention that my husband was rear-ended on the highway three weeks ago? My mobility lift was destroyed. So, we are still short a vehicle and I can't take my scooter anywhere so that I can get stuff done. Hmmm... Wonder why I have such a headache?!?

Needless to say, I am REALLY looking forward to escaping to Disneyland!!

We are having brunch with Goofy on our last day. Our daughters are really looking forward to it (but I may be looking forward to it more...).

We're kicking our trip off with lunch at the Blue Bayou, which was a special request from DD (10).

At the point now where in a month we'll be home! Not that I'm excited about coming back from the trip but it does feel like another milestone in getting closer to the trip! Plus work should be pretty bust for the next couple of weeks so that will also help time go by!

Holy moly - you have a lot going on right now! Hopefully you get everything done to your satisfaction and can just enjoy your time in Disneyland. It is a magical place that can make you forget all your worries!

We fly to California one month from today! The day following will be our first day in the parks! Just got my Disney Visa Rewards card in the mail yesterday! So excited for you guys going in the next few weeks!

Just got several Disneyland t-shirts on clearance/sale at our local Disney store...5 shirts for $32! 3 adults, 2 youth.

My 3 favorites:
