October 2014 availability

So this morning I was able to see availability for several other resorts, WL, BC, BWI, and this afternoon they are gone! I am liking the looks of the WL and the BC, but I worry they won't be as kid friendly as AoA (still in the running). How would I go about booking DVC? I would be interested in that as well.

You can rent through an owner or go through a 3rd party company. There is a whole sub thread on the DVC boards for renting points you should check out.

I just noticed that the rooms available are changing back and forth. Sometimes they show up sometimes they don't so I would call a CM when you are ready to book and ask for the room you actually want.

we were debating between october and sept 2014 and picked september because October had limited availability already. was that a good decision??

Interesting amos07, I tried multiple times the past 2 days and have nothing but AKL. I'll try again tonight- worst case I will call. I was just creating a spreadsheet so we could decide where we wanted to be- sounds like we better hurry up and decide now! Everything I read says October is a slow time- guess not.

The October secret is out...seems to be a lot busier. We went last October (Oct. 28th - Nov 2nd) and rates for our Moderate hotel are $100/more per night.
