Just switched our first night...again! Since magic bands have opened up beyond the previously included resorts, I saw BWV pool/garden studio oct 16 so I dropped my akv jambo standard studio. This will make the move much easier. So we now have Oct 16 BWV pool/garden studio before switching to our standard studio for the rest of the trip.

I have standard wait listed for our first night but only up to 31 days (which is real soon). Also have had bcv studio wait listed for a couple months. We'll see what happens I'm just glad our move will be easy and we still get magic bands and fast pass plus.

Hi all-- I sadly updated the list this morning by taking off my trip. We had to cancel yesterday due to my DH injuring his knee last weekend. He had an MRI last Wed and the surgeon says he has to have knee surgery. It has been scheduled for Oct 15th (we were due to arrive in Orlando on the 18th). The dr said my DH could do what he wished but his advice was to cancel the trip.

So we are now contemplating when to reschedule. So, so sad that we had to cancel as we had to cancel our HHI trip last October due to me breaking my foot and having surgery. September just must not be our month.

I hope you all have fabulous trips and one of you who gets to stay at VGF please post! Our last night of vacation was to be spent at VGF, a brand spankin' new resort! And now we don't get that thrill. Yeah, we can stay there later on but it won't be new anymore. Oh well, things could be a lot worse.

Oh and to add salt to the wounds, our Magic Bands arrived yesterday.

i'm so sorry to hear about your husband's injury....we all know how much you were looking forward to this trip.
on the bright side (i'm a firm believer there is always one, no matter how small it seems at the time ), at least the injury occurred while you were still home - now, your DH can get the treatment needed, recover properly, and be as good as new when you go!

Got mine last week. I originally planned on a nice relaxing few days, but once I got this offer, I went nuts with the FP+ so I'm doing all the parks!!!! I'll come home tired, but very happy

I am soooo very sorry to hear this. I wish hubby a quick recovery and who knows....maybe before the end of the year you two can go down for a "quick" trip. If not then start planning for next year!

This is sad but need to take care of health issues now so you can take MANY more DVC trips down the road. If you lose any part of your health then you lose MUCH more than a single trip. Sending quick recovery to DH and fun to both of you on your next trip...whenever it might be!
