***October 2012 Thread*** MNSSHP + Food & Wine - Does It Get Any Better?

29 days and I haven't given a thought to packing. This is DHs and my first trip without kids in 17 years (high schoolers can't miss AP classes). I guess that even thought micromanaged all if our dining and his fishing excursion, I'm probably going to wait until the night before and just throw massive mounts of clothes Into a suitcase.

My DH thinks I'm crazy for packing so early; but I cant help myself. I also have to pack the clothes in the attic so my middle cat doesnt see me. Last year when we brought out the suitcases he started throwing up 2-3 times a day. We took him to the vet and it was determined that he had anxiety issues. So this year we wont bring anything downstairs until the night before.

We weren't planning on doing MNSSHP but as it gets closer I think we will do it again. We were rather miserable the first time we did it. We were in costume and both my husband and I had new shoes, oh man our feet were killing us. So I think we will try it again without costume or new shoes.

Got our Magical Express vouchers today as well as a new suitcase! Everything is starting to feel more real about the trip! Cannot wait!

Less than 30 days, and it is all I can think about! Trying to keep on with day to day chores! Earl of Sandwich is our first destination after we check in at Pop! So glad to read these posts! It helps knowing others are a anxious as I am!!

36 days left! I'm starting to get to the point where our trip is all I think about! EOS is our first stop too after check in at POR. Then it's off to DQ! Yay! We bought our DD gift card today too. I hope $300 is enough for her, but we do have reserves!

Thought I would join your group. We moved to VA from FL last year and I never thought we would make it to another MNSSHP until our DS graduated. DH has a conference in Orlando and he asked if I would want to come down and go to the Halloween party!

So I am flying down on the 11th of October, we will be attending MNSSHP that night and then since we have one day passes left over from a Premium trip in 2011, we are using those for the F&WF.

Staying at CSR, which is going to be a new experience for us.

Hi All,
We just got back from our very first trip to WDW. We stayed at Pop for 12 days and just got home 6 hrs ago. But on the last day over there we upgraded to annual passes and we will coming back next month
We will be at a friend condo for a week. Oct 14- Oct20. So it would be off site.
Call me crazy but let the countdown begin.
