Hope she's wrong. LOL

I actually checked for last year and 2010 parties and it looks like they did go on sale May 1 both years, so let's hope they stay with that. I'm away on vacation at the beginning of June and I'd like to get them as soon as I can so we don't get shut out.

I know!!! I also did my homework and you are right, the past 2 years tickets went on sale on May, and I *think* they even announced the dates of the parties earlier, like in April? Maybe someone who's been before can help us :goodvibes

Just my humble point of view, but from my experience, a sold out party is nothing I will get upset about missing. Having experienced one, I will never will buy my tickets in advance again. I'll count missing a sold out party as a blessing in the future. That said, I will still try to go on days not konwn to sell out. ;) Good luck to those w/ no choice on dates or to whom sardine like crowds don't bother. :flower3:

Ditto. We'll buy our tickets one or two days ahead of time. That way we have when we have a better idea of the the weather, but can still get the advance purchase price . I figure if the party sells out, I don't want to be there anyway. (We'll use the money to go to a water park instead.)

Just booked with the free Quick Service Dining Plan PIN code for October 9 - 14th at Caribbean Beach Resort for me, my dad and my daughter. Sister usually goes but she can't get off work this year. We go to MNSSHP.

Where did you receive the code. I'm booked for Oct 14-20 and if able to receive the FD that would be great and save me lots of $$$$$.

We went last year on Oct 30th and I am sure it was sold out. And we had a BLAST!! We couldn't believe everything we got done that night. The parade was awesome and Hallowishes as well. We got an amazing spot in the hub right where the headless horseman runs out and into the hub..we got a full frontal pic!! I will say that we skipped most of the character lines and didn't venture into the dance parties, but we still got to meet some and had so much fun!! I wouldn't mind going on a sold out date again!

We've been checking daily (almost hourly, haha) for flights that won't break the bank & FINALLY got 4 round trip tix on Air Tran from Philly for under $1100. Hubby says that despite hotel being booked for a month now this makes it officially official, lol.
AKL 9/27-10/6 can't wait!!!!

Just booked a flights for 10/13 - 10/16 for a stay at BLT. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the MNSHP will remain on a Sunday :worship:

We'll be there the same time, same resort :)

As for the MNSSHP talk, we're getting about $120 commission back from our cruise. Probably get it end of June/beginning of July. We'll be using that to pay for our MNSSHP ticket :thumbsup2

You just motivated me to check out airfares tonight. I've been hoping for a good deal like this - we flew down for about this in January, and I had to really dig to get it. Thanks for the push! :thumbsup2

I bought our airline tickets yesterday for our October trip. The total was about $400 less than I budgeted so I'm super excited! :cool1:

This will be my fourth trip with the kids...at least half of them. My oldest two (HS junior and college sophomore) can't get away from school as easily as their sisters who will be 3rd graders so we promised killer goodies from the parks! We will be arriving on my birthday (yay), and will be joined by my sister (also celebrating her birthday 2wks prior to mine) and her hubby and twins (same age as mine), and our parents will also come for a day (hopefully Mom's birthday!). We plan on having such a good time!! We'll be there 10/13-20 and staying for the first time at POP. Can't wait to swim in the hippy dippy pool!:hippie:

Well just back from my February trip and hopping on board for October! Right now we are scheduled for AKV October 21-28 and driving down. 7 months out DH will be trying for our fave F&WF areas BCV or BWV (so keep those fingers crossed!)
I already have my 180 day ADR list ready so just counting down until I can make those :goodvibes.

Also, forgot to mention we are driving this time...so no searching for airfare for once! It's been over 7 years since we last drove and since we have the time, hubby wanted to roadtrip it....:rolleyes1

Yay yay yay! Jot us down for Oct 29th- Nov 4th! Flying to Vegas first to get hitched, then honeymoon in WDW! At the moment (hah) we're booked for Music.

Yea!!!! Just booked yesterday...so excited! Not sure when we'll tell the kids, but happy to be part of this group!

:cool1: Just put a hold on our airline tickets ... was able to score an amazing deal out of DCA (Ronald Reagan) ... yep, we drive a bit to get there but have actually made a first night stay in a hotel room near the airport part of our "vacation tradition".

I found a thread with other October WDW Travelers!!! Can't wait to read throguh it. Here subbing for now. popcorn::

Our trip: 10/7 for 7 nights at VWL.
First "fall" trip (we usually do May) so on the fence about MNSSHP. Can't wait to get more details from the experienced to help me decide!
Traveling with DH, DD (7) and DS(9).

Room booked (Studio Villa), flight just booked on Sunday, airport tranfers from home to airport and DME booked.... now it's waiting! Can't do much until mid April to make my ADR's - so spending lots of time trying to figure out where and when!!

Can't wait to catch up o all of these posts and gain LOTS of insight re: WDW in October.
