Ok this TIME thing is so weird!

I replied to a post and then my post went BEFORE that one!

I have a half hour to go until I can leave work. This last hour is passing by so slow. I was on touring plans checking the estimated crowd levels & planning out my park days. 10 1/2 months til I actually get there and I already know what parks I'm going to. Who's with me?

There's a crazy formula to their madness Go to www.touringplans.com Some of the website you have to pay to have access to but a lot of the stuff is free. If you want to know anything specific, ask me & I'll find out.

Congrats on the upgrade! If I had stayed put, we'd be in the same resort.

If you guys ever want to stay deluxe, try renting DVC points! It's super affordable. We're paying $760 for the week at AKL. If I booked room only at AKL through Disney for that same week, it's $2,400! When I add the tickets and meal plan to our DVC rental it still won't equal that!

We are trying something new this year.....camping! We have camped before so we at least know what we are getting into. Keeping my fingers crossed for FREE Dining already for October 20th - 27th!

We finally booked! We couldn't decide if we wanted to try renting DVC points or not. We finally decided to book CBR for September 27-October 6th and hope we can get in on free dining. We're open to other discounts, we just think that free dining is our best chance. If discounts don't work out, we'll take a chance on renting DVC points at the last minute.

I just decided to go all out because this is our FIRST vacation ever. Seriously my kids have been to Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada. No where else. Ever. And both of those trips were to the middle of nowhere. They didn't really do anything fun. So I'm like...sure it's more money but I can do this. I have 10mths to pay it off and who knows when we will be able to do another trip! And since we're there for 12 days I wanted to have the Queen beds and a little more space. IF we were going for less time and only using the room to sleep I would have stayed at Pop for sure.

They're basing it on the last 5 years or so of crowds, park traffic, and park hours. You can look at 2011's October calendar too since it just passed. I already have my schedule & ADRs somewhat planned out.

I wish I'd known about DVC points rentals before I booked my trip! My husband's never been to WDW before...hopefully he'll fall in love it it and we can go back again, if that happens I'll look for DVC points!

Bumping this up, because I know I saw this somewhere.

Since you have to have like 10 people for these fireworks cruises, and we are traveling as a couple only, wondering if anyone here is doing one of these cruises during the week of Oct 6 through 14 and needs a couple to fill out their party.

We may do a Pirates cruise if we can't get in with a group, but thought I'd put a feeler out there.

We'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary, as a couple, and we're not drinkers or smokers. Just looking for a romantic night out on a boat to watch fireworks!

Jenny, I agree.....I love HRH! we lucked out bigtime too and got offered an amazing rate for a Deluxe Queen Club level room.....$159 per night due to some technical issues we had in our room last yr. with our beds being broken! So, for 3 nights I am paying half of what I paid last FEB.....My room was $330 per night last FEB for just a basic club room....This yr. I am getting a Deluxe room, complimentary upgrade to club level AND half the price!!! The management at HRH is the greatest, they go above and beyond to keep their customers happy!

RE: Clown Pool/ BWI...I am so excited to be trying this resort...clowns don't bother me one way or the other....actually I focus more on how I think the slide looks like a cool roller coaster than where I am being spewed out from, I think it looks like a lot of fun, and you can't beat the atmosphere of the Board walk....very excited to be staying here!

FINALLY.....can OCT come any sooner??? I am missing my happy place!!!

I did that last week on my train ride home! I printed out the hours for the last two years trying to build up my days.

Awesome deal you got at HRH! I went to Universal in 2009 for a business trip and they put us up in HRH. I've stayed at RPR also but liked HRH better. It's beautiful, love the pool & the staff. I'm jealous lol.

I'd probably be going down the slide at BW like 'Yay this is fun!' SPLASH! Turn around, see the clown and be like 'Screw this, I'm going back to my room!' BW is an awesome location though and I'd love to stay there but I'd use the quiet pool, thank you very much. I stayed at Beach Club in 2009 and the 5 minute walk to Epcot could not be beat!

Can I join in? Our 11 month DVC window just opened today and we booked our first trip with our membership! We're staying at BLT October 13th-20th. It'll be DD's first trip and we're celebrating her 1st birthday while we are there!!

Now to start planning! Is it bad that I'm already thinking of what DD is going to wear each day?
