October 2012 Anyone?!

Anyone know about the October convention? I'm trying to find the dates. I know it's during the last full week of October (not Halloween week) and it's only about 4 days. I just can't remember the exact dates.

Joining in! :cheer2:

My mom, DD10, DS7 and myself will be there October 13-27, staying at Bonnet Creek. My brother, SIL and nephew will be joining us for a portion of the trip, but they will stay onsite.

We just booked this morning.
We are doing ASMo from 10/26 to 11/04
For DS birthday.
Aim counting down the days to ADR bookings

Did it! Just booked POFQ for our Oct 13-20th trip. Now I will have to get serious about ADRs.:goodvibes
No promo code waiting for me but you never know. At least we have a place to sleep when we get there!:)

What a difference a week makes- Our ongoing search for DVC came through today so, as much as I love POFQ, we will be at OKW now!:goodvibes That bedroom will be nice. And, darn, we had to take Oct 12-19 which means we will have to keep the night of the 19th at POFQ! We have a YES class on friday and I am not running for the airport right after.
So 8 nights for us. We did a last night switch last time and it was no problem for us. :woohoo:
Oh yeah now I need to update my ticker too!

Question of the day for those who have been in Octobers past...what time is Hallowishes? I'm thinking they don't wait until midnight, but I'm just not sure as I've never been.

I know typically Wishes is done at park closing, but what about Hallowishes? Hmm...9:30 is in my head all of a sudden. I'm wondering if I read that somewhere.

TIA!

You're right, it's 9:30. There are two parade times - 8:15 and 10:30. Hallowishes is in between.

Thank you! I'm trying to figure out ADR's, etc. and with everything going on Halloween week, and the fact that we have to wait on the Nov. hours to figure out the whole week, this can be mind boggling.

Just booked for 10/23-10/28 at BWI  Can't wait for F&W and finally being at WDW when it's not cold! I know that sounds crazy, but our previous two trips were in Dec. and Jan.

I'm counting down with you :goodvibes

We will be at Kidani from 10/11-21st. My parents are joining us on the 17th for their first Disney trip EVER! I am so excited to have them join us!!!

My DD (14) and I are returning to POP this Oct. 17-22nd

We changed our resorts. We are now staying at AoA for 1 night on 10/13 before our move to BWV for the rest of the week

I'm the trip planner. Three adults and two kids will be at AoA from Sept 28th through Oct 6th. Yay!! Still waiting on MNSSHP dates so we can get tickets. Wondering what anyone can tell me about F & W Festival. :grouphug:

Hi all! I am sister to Thumper1960 and Aunt/mom#2 to NC Monkey.:goodvibes I am so excited that they are going. I can't wait for their pics of the new Art of Animation resort. They are also new to the DDP, so I want to know how they do on that as well. I love helping my friends and family plan their Disney vacations.:lovestruc
I wish I could be going, too. The year isn't over yet and there could still be time for me to get a countdown ticker for October!:thumbsup2
