Good evening

I wonder if anyone could help. We have booked to go to Disney in October 2011. We have already booked accommodation through Complete Orlando now looking for flights and can't believe the prices. We travelled with BA last time but the prices seem so high. Has anyone seen any offers.

Thanks for your help

We go October as well, paid nearly £100 more than this year, we did get better flight times. £65 was added to flights to the US recently:sad2:

Thanks Linda. Please could you let me know who are you flying with? Thanks :)

We are flying Continental from edinburgh, though the flights we are going have already risen since we booked

What dates you looking for? is it just London you want to fly from?

We managed to get some better prices flying to Miami with Virgin.
Going out Friday 14th and returning on Sunday 30th £454.97 using M+M.

£500 less than direct to Orlando.( no M+M available to Orlando)

We've just booked for Oct 2011 for 14 nights.

Flight prices were LESS than I thought they would be.

For Manchester flights, both continental and US airways had flights for £1500 for the 3 of us. So £500 each for flights at school holiday time.

Changing in Newark with continental and Philadephia with US airways. Really good flight times.

We actually booked the US airways flights with thomas cook as they knocked a further £200 off the price for booking flight and accomodation together.

Thanks for your help

Oh great. I'll check that out.

Thank you

If you look at Kayak.co.uk there are a few under £500 with 1 stop.

Best deal I can see is BA into Tampa from Gatwick direct, £520. Great deal if you are renting a car, not so great if you are using Disney's Magical Express from MCO.
We flew into Tampa last August and doing same again in Feb, great airport.

We are going in October too and also have yet to book our flights.

We need to fly out on Thursday 29th September and return on Friday 21st October. Our biggest problem is that this trip we need to fly direct from London so im limited with flight options.

Im hoping for a sale of some kind over xmas but if not i will just have to pay the prices unfortunately.

i've been hanging out on kayak too, trying to find a deal...

the prices are incredibly high....

i found an interesting thing though...i'm trying to convince DS to fly around the world, as it will be cheaper to get an around the world fare than for him to fly to chile and then to orlando and back....crazy isn't it..

i can get him around the world - with as many stops as he wants (so he can do the disney around the world thing) for less than £2,500.
It would cost the same just to go to Chile and Orlando.

I had him stopping in Mumbai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Santiago, Los Angeles, Orlando, New York City, London, Paris and then home.
Alll for less than £2,500.
And the cost to just Santiago and Orlando was closer to £2,700 - not around the world - just to santiago and back with a stop in orlando was more than flying around the world with all those stops.

Is that crazy or what?

For your dates BA want £798pp direct into MCO, exactly the same seats can be bought on AA.com thru codeshare for £559.

If you prefer Virgin they want £645, same seats with Opodo £584.

BA direct into Tampa £514.

Can't see being much cheaper in a sale but good luck.

Great. Fingers crossed. Is that with most airlines? Thanks for your help

Historically BA and Virgin have sales either on or just after Christmas. :thumbsup2

Can't promise anything but I am certainly waiting for it JIC.

I've seen sale fares before ranging from £350 to £450 but again thats just from what I've seen in the past.

I cant see the full fare being much cheaper but i was hoping a M+M fare would come out for my dates. Ive been checking twice a day but no luck :sad2:

I didnt know you could book through AA though, i'll look at that one! Im not fussy who i fly with - whoevers cheapest :goodvibes

Yes BA & AA have a codeshare agreement so you can either buy from BA at £798 or AA at £559, either way you will get the same BA seats.

i would do the AA codeshare at £559.

that gives me an idea - i have to go check AA for my route. They also codeshare on that one. I hadn't thought to check it.
Delta used to codeshare on it and they were much cheaper. But now delta flies its own plane and has come up in price.
