October 2011...Who's all going? Vacation dates and lodging

Hi neighbor! We're going to be there almost the same nights and was wondering the same thing about the Tuesday night ... I don't mind DL closing early for the Halloween party Monday, but for the Tuesday night as well? Hoping it might be an error of some variety and the park will stay open later ...

There is a private party that night for a Microsoft conference. We'll be there the same time.

Oh my! This Friday, September 16 is the official start of Halloween Time at Disneyland. That means our Oct trips are just around the corner!

The DizMe family will be going Oct 13-15, staying at GCH and attending the ToT party 10/14

We just planned October 11-15 and Halloween part on the 14th.

We got our bookings confirmed for our first trip back as AP holders!!

We'll be there Oct 24th-30th! (Tentatively we may head down on the 23rd, we shall see)

We are saving our $ for the parks, and staying at the fallback Motel6, however, we are doing some creative thinking to see if we can maybe upgrade to a better place.

And I'd totally be up for a Dis Meet during the week! We may attend the tuesday night Halloween party, possibly. but we will be at the parks every day during our trip.
(We= Me 29, Dh-32, DS- 9 next week!)

We are going 10/1-10/7. Rented a townhouse for the first time since we normally need 2 rooms it was almost a wash. Figured it might save us some money having a kitchen. We hope to attend the MHP on 10/3 as long as they don't sell out before next Friday when we will have the extra money. We are excited for Halloween time.

I have added your travel info to the first post. You will save lots of money and time by making use of your kitchen. We cook in our DVC room all the time and specially enjoy using the BBQ to cook London Broil for a quick and easy dinner.

Once again, I have to update my hotel. We are now saying at Paradise Pier! I cant wait!

We will be at Grand California from Oct 12 through the 15th.
I just found out today at work! It was a suprise gift to me and my family (husband and 2 daughters) in thanks for a job well done!!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!! My job is actually sending me to Disneyland with my family !!!!

My DH and I will be there from Oct 14-18, celebrating our first wedding anniversary. We didn't go on a honeymoon, so this is it! We've had an emotional year (my Mom passed away unexpectedly in Feb), so we're hoping to forget about reality for a bit. This will also be my husband's first trip to Disneyland! We're staying at the Paradise Pier. Oh and we've got tickets to MHP on the 14th!

We are going oct 13 - 17, staying everynight but the last one at Grand California! We have never stayed there before. We tried the Disneyland Hotel last year and i really want to go back there, but my hubby wants to try the california hotel. We have decided to bite the bullet and stay on property because it is more fun and we have a special needs child and it can be a big hassle sometimes to take the buses or walk several blocks to our hotel, especially after a long day of walking the parks. Or if he needs to take a break from the weather or people, we have a place close that we can take him too.
I am excited because we are celebrating by b-day and this has become an annual tradition for us to visit for one of the Halloween party nights. We work on saving for this trip all year long.
