I decided to postpone our WDW trip till 2010.

I have been thinking about October going in the half term week and a week after as i want to be there for DD's 5th Birthday. Was looking at flight prices and they was over £1000 thats for Oct 08. What month are October flights released and are they usually that expensive?

How busy it October? We would go September but thats when DD starts school and I don't want to take her out of her first few weeks of school.

if you are flying scheduled the flights are released 11 months before, with most or all charters you can book well in advance.
October isnt as busy as say the summer, and the advantages are that it is not as blazing hot, even though when we were there last oct/nov it did go over 95 degrees a few times, but there is a lot less humidity.
we are going back again this october and then we plan to go in 2010 in october/nov.

Thanks Jeanette. :)

Looks like i got lots of planning to do lol.

:thumbsup2
may see you there!
good idea not to take your daughter in sept, we did this once and when we got back all the classmates had decided who they wanted to sit next to and had formed friendships and bonded within the first week of school, so when she went back after missing the first week she felt left out and this went on for a while

Thats why i was thinking that late October would be a better option. Just hope its not too expensive :rotfl:

we are going nov 09 and the prices dropped a lot from oct even 31st oct and 1st nov had a huge difference so what about going the very begginning on nov

I don't want to take Kyra out of school for more than a week as we will be going half term week esp as she would of only just started school a few weeks before hand.

This is an expensive week we are booked october 2009 and asked about late october it went up almost £600 price of park tickets !!!!So we opted for early october. parks are good this time of year and weather ace :)
