October 2010 Anyone Else?

We will be there Oct. 11th - 17th. Think we are staying at the HOJO but not sure yet. We are a family of 8 and kind of want a place with a full kitchen but not sure.

I've seen some really neat pics from previous Halloween celebrations at DL and can't wait to see it myself!

Woo Hoo we'll be there 9/30-10/4. My Birthday weekend!
I decided that if I have to actually acknowledge my big 40hhhh! It should be done at my favorite place and with my favorite people. So, I've rallied the troops and the whole family is headed to DL!!!!!!

We are planning on going from 10/28 (well arrival in SD at anyrate!) until the 4th.

All of our disney trips have been halloween.. this is the first time for DL!

Although we havent been able to find anyone to rent points for the hotel we want.. and if we can get a better discounted room, DH wants to transfer to WDW. So we'll see. *fingers crossed*

I really want to hit up DL!

If all goes according to plan in July and I get my AP, I will be going again in October so that I can see the halloween stuff. I have booked Hojo for the 19 to 21 already because they have the AP 50% off rate for those nights. I'm not positive on the dates yet but I really want to see the Space Mtn overlay.

Im from Phoenix and planning on going 22nd and 23rd with my dad and brother! I cant wait it will be the first time going during halloween time!

We are there on our way back from the Uk from 11th-14th oct. ( also going on the way to Uk on Sept 5th-8th)

I am struggling to find accomodation though- found plenty for the Sept dates but not much for Oct- is there any reason for this?

Was planning Hojos or PPH but PPH says sold out and Hojos only has double rooms ( wanted a suite)

Anyone know any other hotels near Disney with suites with availability?

Oh and Character meals will be Plaza Inn, Ariels Grotto ( my DS loves princesses!!!) and in Sept we are doing Storytellers ( staying at GCH)

My boyfriend and I will be there from Oct 1-6. We will be staying at the Quality Inn behind Fairfield. We will be driving down from Calgary, Canada and staying in the parks the whole 6 days and making a stop in Las Vegas on the way home. We plan to do a Character meal at PCH Grill on the 5th as it will be my 30th birthday. What better way to spend my breakfast than with my two favourite Disney Characters??

I'm taking 4 graduating seniors to DL in July. We are staying at Homewood suites which provides full cooked breakfast every day as well as 4 evening meals Mon-Thurs. There is Art at the hotel next door and a hotel shuttle which has mixed reviews. The meals really are a big budget helper and AAA has great rates on line.

My DS3 and I will be in Disneyland from 9/29-10/4 staying at the Desert Inn and Suites. Planning on attending the trick or treat party on 10/3. Will catch an Anaheim Angels game and hopefully the Ducks are playing while we are there.

Celebrating my son's 21st birthday 10/29. We'll be there Oct 27-Nov 2. We went in 10/06 for the first Halloween Time and it sure has grown!!! Looking forward to another visit this time of year. Staying at BWPPI. (birthday boy request!)

Awhhh my son's B-day is 10/29 also the big 16! What is BWPPI?


We are going for my son's B-day also I am letting him bring a friend and this is his friends 1st trip to DL! So it will be my Son (15turning 16 10/29) His friend (16) my daughter (16.5) Maybe my husband will join us but he isnt as crazy for Disney as me and the kids. Due to football for his friend plus I want to beat the weekend crowds we are coming Sun 10/17-Tues 10/19. Staying at HOJO (1st time) I dont have any meals planned yet. I want to do tha hallohaunt tour (or whatever its called) or the MTOT party just not sure if they will be offered while I am there. I wish the schedule would come out already!
I cant wait Halloween is my favorite season and I have not gone to DL during this time since they started decorating for Halloween. We went to WDW in Sept last year so got to see their Halloween decorations and go to their Halloween party.

Cool- time to celebrate!!! Just added another son to the trip who will be 26 this Oct 11. So we will be double celebrating. It was just going to be DS turning 21, then one by one we added the rest of the kids. Now it will be me and all 5 of them(ages 12 to 26).

BWPPI is Best Western Park Place Inn, directly across from the Maingate crosswalk on Harbour.

Just booked the flights, we're headed down Oct. 9-17th, staying at HoJo's as well! I'm so excited!

We are arriving from Canada on October 6 to San Diego and then driving to DL. We are staying in DL from the 5-9 at the Tropicana. Myself, DH and 2DD. We are going to the Halloween Party on the 5th.
I am sooo excited. I have never been to DL at Halloween (only Christmas). We plan on doing the Goofy Breakfast. This is the only one we need to experience.

Husband and I are surprising our daughter with a trip to DL on October 25 for just 1 day. She'll find out when we get on the plane the day before. She'll be turning 10 but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be more excited than her.

DH and I (and maybe 2 guests--they are still trying to decide if they will join us) will be there Halloween weekend! We are staying at the GCV. Planning on doing the Trick or Treat Party(holding off buying tickets until our guests decide). Can't wait! I'll keep my eye out for your green mickey mouse heads!
