October, 2009 ~ Anyone??

I didn't experience yet a Halloween Party in Disney. We stayed there in Christmas holidays.

So, is it wonderful? I probably thinking that for this year. :)

Jumping on the October train with ya'll :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Not exactly sure of our week yet though.Still waiting for DH to get his 2009 vacation requests approved.

We'll be there Oct 23 - Nov 1 at Pop! Can't wait for MNSSHP again! It was my favorite part of our last October trip!

I liked MNSSHP way better than MVMCP!

Can anyone tell me how crowded it is on Halloween? I'm debating between going over Halloween or going the week before depending on the crowds?

very crowded- the parties night before and night of halloween sell out. we are going oct 21st-nov 1st. however we will not be in magic kingdom the 30th or 31st.

MNSSHP= Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party :)

I'm already planning out my costume for Halloween night. (Marluxia from KH) If anybody else is gonna be there on the 31st, dress up if you're able!~:rotfl:

We will be going 1 Oct -7 Oct  The trip is for our 1st anniversary  but my parents will be taggin along, all except the day of our actual anniversary. Everyone is eagerly anticipating the trip. We will be staying at Pop to maximize our eating and spending money. Have I mentioned that I'm excited? :woohoo: Why does October have to be so far away?

Count us in! We'll be there the oct 26-nov 2. DD is racing at the wide world of sports complex. We're staying at fort wilderness and will be trick or treating around the fort that night. Oh I can't wait!!!!!!

I just booked DH and I for Oct 9-16. Our 20th anniversary is Oct. 14, and since we never had a real honeymoon, we're thrilled to finally have one. Staying at Coronado Springs resort, and leaving the kids home with grandparents. Yes, we're mean, but they're still too short and we'll bring them back in a couple years.

I've only been to WDW once, about 2 years ago as a "girls weekend" with a bunch of relatives, and DH has only been to Magic Kingdom over 20 years ago when he was in the navy, so we're like a couple of kids with how excited we are! :cool1:

Just booked our accomodations. we will be there Oct. 17-24. We are staying in a condo this time. I'm amazed at how much more economical a condo is compared to a hotel!!!!

My daughter and I are going to arrive on 10/24 and stay til 11/1! (for my monumental birthday pixiedust: ; and DD's first year in high school :hyper: )

DH doesn't know yet, It's my birthday present to myself, and well, to my daughter too... I love mother/daughter trips!

DS and I went last year for MNSSHP (2 nights ~ one ToT and 1 for dress up and rides. ~ the first night it POURED! ~ that was the ToT night!)

DD and I are looking forward to MNSSHP on 10/31 (hopefully we'll get tickets! ;) ) We're also going on the 25th (if there's a party that night)

We're staying at the airport for our 1st night in town ~as we're getting in around midnight... then we'll head over to the AKL (1st night); CSR (nights 2-6); and Poly (nights 7-8). Thank goodness for 40% off.

We're looking forward to hanging at the parks, chilling out by the pool, and having a great time... hope the weather cooperates!

Count us into the Oct crowd as well. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

It looks like we will be there Oct 10th - 21st!

:cheer2: First time to WDW! Whoop!! :cheer2:

We are at CSR as well. Maybe we'll see you there!

We are going for our 10th Anniversary and my partner's birthday. We are going to be at that Hilton 10/13 to 10/21. We are staying free on points. While we will have access to EMH, I doubt that we will use it because, since this trip is more about celebrating Corey's birthday, I doubt that I will be able to get her up and out of the room before 10 am most days. She is more of a "vacations are for sleeping in" sort. I am not, but it will be ok. I can commando my way through my solo trip in April. ;)

We'll be there 10/21-28 staying at OKW (unless I can switch to BLT at 7 month mark) our first trip as DVC owners! Can't wait for MNSSHP, do adults dress up on party nights that aren't halloween night? DH, who tells me I'm the Disney nut in the family, is the one insisting on this trip, who am I to argue! :cool1: :cool1:

Just booked a cabin at Fort Wilderness for Oct 21st-26th. I have never been around Halloween and am looking forward to it. This is a first time trip for my neice, Kenzie, princess: who turns 7 the week before we come and I will turn 38 the week before also. We are going to celebrate our birthdays while we are at the World! Also joining us will be my DD (16), DMIL, DSIL & DBIL (Kenzies parents) DSIL has only been to the Magic Kingdom once and it was years ago so I am so excited planning this trip for them. I love my DSIL and neice with all my heart and am so happy I get to experience her first visit. I am a huge fan of Mickey Mouse-I was even born in Oct 1971!!! It was destiny!! :rotfl2:

So glad I found this site! I am not alone in my passion for Disney!

me too..

I will be there for a solo trip, meeting up with the DIS ladies trip.. 10/3 -10/10..

and i am meeting up with some Dis ladies also.....

another solo trip for sept 30 - oct 8..........::yes::

Maybe someone can answer this. We have talked to a travel agent about booking our trip (Oct 10-21) and they think going at that time is a mistake. They recommend going at the end of Oct. instead of the beginning. I kind of thought that we were going towards the end of the middle. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Why would you not go then? Is it going to be a lot busier? I know the weather is warmer in Sept and you have to worry about hurricanes. Is there something else I am missing?
