October 2008? Anyone plan this far ahead??

Good morning!

I was on another thread and someone said that they are booked for January 08
And on that same thread someone said that there is a rumor that we can book our trips for 08 starting in June! I sure hope so...it is so much easier for us to save for a trip when I can just give the money weekly to Disney instead of putting it in an account. Too tempting.

See, I knew I wasn't crazy. My family thinks I am for already starting the planning process for our Oct 2008 trip (okay so I started as soon as I got back from our Oct 2006 trip) but I'm not. Or at least I'm not the only crazy person going. I display my ticker proudly even though it is kind of depressing and on my desk calendar I have the weeks coutning down. 74 to go.

You are not crazy for wanting to plan! I usually start planning right when I get back from a trip. Plus, being a diser it is your DUTY to start planning no matter how far out the trip is.

I like the weekly countdown idea, too!

well we FOR SURE cannot book online right now and i'm still on hold with 407-W-Disney but i'm sure they are going to tell me the same thing, so maybe the person who said they are booked for 2008 was just thinking they are ready to book!

Yeah, that is probably it....she maybe was able to book room only.

Okay just got off the phone, now i am waiting for them to connect me to that dumb survey


She said that I cannot book now DUH!
Then said she does not know EXACT dates, but try sometimes middle of next month, but she also said she could be wrong. She checked with a supervisor and they said they don't think anytime soon will the dates be realeased for booking. THEN i asked about room only if i didn't want the DDP & she tried it, but said the computer told her the dates were too far out or something like that

SO looks like we must wait.

It is too bad we cannot book....I can wait a few months.
I think I read somewhere that they cannot book anything past 499 days out. But there are lots of rumors on the dis....so calling Disney is probably the best way to find out.

We are planning on the 18-28...it all depends on DH's job if we can get those dates...but that is what we have planned. We should plan on the same MNSSHP! That would be sooo much fun to have a little meet or something.

I love it when little babies wear costumes. They have a few on disneyshopping.com's outlet section. I hope you all get to find out soon! How exciting!

I am thinking a Peter Pan theme...DH can be Peter or Hook and I could be Wendy and Maddie can be Tinker Bell. That is all I have right now. It might be too hot to really dress up in heavy costumes. I love how you decorated your stroller to look like a pirate ship. That is so creative!

aww thanks! it was soo much fun!!! and you are right about the heat! that's why DH was just a pirate and NOT Catp. Hook! haah! it was sooo humid! and we went mid October around the same dates we are looking at for next year!

I should find out about the baby next month after we get back from WDW! so i can go RIGHT INTO planning mode!!
