I am planning a honeymoon at WDW in late October through early November 2005. Is it normally rainy during this time of year? Also, do you think it will be warm enough to swim? My future husband loves the water.

THANKS!!!!

I went that time of the year this year. It can get cold sometimes. We were lucky it was warm through the vacation until the last day or so. You will have to pack for all contingincies.

I would do the Halloween party one night and if you like Universal Halloween Horror nights another If you are going to be there while these special events are taking place.

I've only been to WDW once in October (it was close to the end). It was warm enough to swim daily, however during my week there it rained every day. From what I understand, that was NOT the norm for October.

In Florida, anything can happen. Have a great time and just roll with the weather. :)

I have been going to WDW for the past eight years now at the end of October and have only had a few trips during this time with a rainshower or two and colder weather.

In most cases, you will find the weather to be nice and warm (in the 80's), sunny, not too humid, and decent crowds at the parks.

Perfect weather that time of year! Truly the best time to go! Things have cooled off a bit and crowds are low. The only possible wrinkle is it's still hurricane season, but it's unlikely to be like this year was (hopefully!)

In 2003 we went 10/30-11/8. For our trip it was very, very humid. Not really sunny, but humid and hot. The daytime highs were in the mid 80's every single day. At night it would drop considerably to pants and long sleeved weather though. We swam pretty much everyday though. We had 2 days of rain--- when it did rain it lasted all day long. But I'll take 2 days over an entire trip of rain anytime.

Last year we had gorgeous weather for most of our mid October stay. Cool mornings and evenings with warm afternoons, certainly great for swimming. And, in some years we've had tropical storms hit around the end of October. I not trying to scare you but you just need to be prepared for anything as it's a very fickle time of year in Florida.

Was there in October last year (early in the month) and it was REALLY HOT! It thunderstormed like 3 afternoons (around the same time.... 3:00), but then would clear up. I've always gone in October!
