October 2003 - BWV & OKW Day 20 & 21

Thursday 23rd October

Up early this morning and we were packed up and called the bellman to take our luggage to storage whilst we enjoy our last day.

Carolyn and Robert were picking us up this morning and we were heading over to Cape May Café for breakfast. I do love the Beach Club we were seated pretty quickly and could see Goofy doing the rounds. Breakfast was a lovely buffet, unfortunately Carolyn wasn’t well but I think Goofy cheered her up with all of the tickling! After Breakfast we took some photos of us all outside and by the lovely car at the entrance and said our goodbyes. It was so lovely to meet Carolyn and Robert they were fabulous people.

We walked over to the Yacht Club to say goodbye to my friend Di – she had made us up a lovely bag of goodie for the plane including blue candy for DH and Reeses Peanut Butter Cup’s for me. We had hug’s all around and wished her well for her new job.

We then got the bus to the Magic Kingdom and gave Di’s husband Mike a call who came down from his office to say goodbye. We had more hugs and hoped to see Mike and Di soon. We mooched around the Magic Kingdom didn’t feel like doing anything after all of those goodbye’s. One final go on Buzz and then got the bus back to OKW.

We waited for our car to pick us up, unfortunately it went to the Boardwalk to get us although we had emailed them and advised when they collected us from the Airport that pick up was at OKW so they were 30 minutes late. When we arrived at the airport we checked in – the queue was massive but we did get exit seats again – yippee. The flight home was good and there was even veggie curry for me.



Friday 24th October

We landed on time and made it through customs OK. We picked up our car and set off on the trip back to Devon to pick up my kitties. We finally got to them at 4.30pm and got them home they had toy’s form Carolyn, treats from me. I also got Buzz a Buzz lightyear outfit complete with wings, Simba got some lovely Mickey Mouse ears and Milly had some holiday Winnie the Pooh ears too - They were so pleased to see me – not :craxy:
