Thursday 16th October

Today was our trip on the Lynx buses again. We caught a bus to the Magic Kingdom then the monorail to the TTC. It seemed we were definitely going against the flow of traffic. It wasn’t long until the bus turned up Number 50 direct to Seaworld we got a day pass each which was $3.00 DH loves a bargain. :bounce: We brought E-tickets for Seaworld on there website and got 20% off if you purchased 30 day’s in advance, you just print the tickets off the website. At the turnstile they scan you’re A4 sheet of paper and show your photo id and then they let you straight in.

We headed straight towards Kraken and Journey to Atlantis. Once again Kraken was broken – this always seems to happen to us. It seems to be down for the first ½ hour of the morning. We were just putting our bag’s in lockers by Journey to Atlantis and DH noticed that they were letting people on to Kraken so we ran over there first. We kept walking until we were right at the ride. So we went straight on – we both love coasters so this was a great ride. After this we went back to journey to Atlantis – silly me we sat in the front – never again. Even this little boy warned us we would get very wet, but did we listen to him Oh no!! Well by the time we came off we were absolutely soaking. Now I don’t mind getting a little wet but I don’t like to be uncomfortable. We tried to find some bathrooms – one thing about Seaworld you seem to be walking around in circles and I don’t find the signing that good. Eventually we dried off a little and set out again.

We headed over to Pacific Point Reserve and saw the Sea Lion’s. We brought some food to feed them. How cute they were, we had to rush as the Clyde and Seamore show was about to start. We got a seat next to a lovely Canadian family and chatted away. I even had a Shamu ice cream – the Canadian man said I made him have one too. We love this show and you really need to participate to get the most out of this experience. Shark encounter was next and then we headed down to the new waterfront area. We watched the show Kat n Kaboodle – very bad idea. I was already missing my kitties :( and here they were parading kitties in front of me allowing my to smooth them. So after a few tears shed we decided to get some nachos and drinks whilst sitting in the sun.

We walked over to Shamu across the bridge, there was lots of skeletons covered in treasure a bit of Pirates of the Caribbean feel. Shamu was of course excellent – I do love that show. It reminds me when I watched the Seaworld programme on Channel Five when the killer whale had a baby in that pool. Don’t you just love watching everyone run from the splash zone.

We did Wild Artic – the polar bears were lovely and just resting today. We walked to the Hospitality Centre and had a well needed free beer. The horses here are absolutely gorgeous and so well behaved. Our next visit was to the Key West Dolphin Stadium, this was the first time we saw this and it was a great show – not sure about the chap singing though. We saw the Manatees who were getting friendly with each other. On our way out we went to see the Dolphins and I got to stroke one really quickly.

We really enjoyed our day here at Seaworld, we caught the bus back to the TTC and then an MGM bus from here. We walked from MGM back to the Boardwalk. We rested up for a little while and then decided to head over to EPCOT for the evening.

We stopped in China and DH had some Spring Rolls I had some Fortune Cookies and Raspberry Iced tea. We strolled around world showcase and tried a Maple Syrup and Chocolate Beavertail in Canada – it was yum.

We left EPCOT and walked back to the Boardwalk. We got a takeaway pizza at Spoodles and took it up to the room to watch the baseball.

Wonderful trip report ~ Thanx for sharing.
