For once I am so thankful I am in Pregon so I can book at 9pm, cause midnight is way past my bedtime.:rolleyes2

We are mainly concerned with booking our Palo and spa stuff. Should we be really worried about excursions?

Not too much. When we booked we defenitely booked Palo first, then Spa, then excursions.

Hello. Just wanted to formally say hi and ask if our names could be added ?

At cruising time we will be
Jennifer, David, and DD Alison (age 5) and Chloe (age 2)

Just a reminder to our new cruisers we have a Facebook page as well as this page. If you would like access please send me an private message with the link to your FB page and I will add you as a friend and then to the page.

When do first time cruisers book?

DCL holds many reservations back and you can try and get one when you board the ship. Also check back several times between now and the cruise as often people change and/or cancel.

We didn't do Palo until our 4th cruise and we actually never missed it. So don't let it get you down if you don't get it.

As of right now (I just checked again) there is Palo dinner available and Remy dinner available. Palo brunch is sold out.

I usually check multiple times a day (I'm OCD that way) until I get what I want or get on the boat.....I'm hoping a Palo brunch opens up because I'm going to be very focused on the boat on getting into Remy brunch!:rolleyes1

And for the beach- we do Orient beach in St Maarten (which we've only seen 1 topless woman on in many cruises) and Magen's Bay in St Thomas (which is like regular US beaches). The food at lunch at Orient Beach is delicious (I look forward to their fish as much as the food onboard).

Greetings to all the newcomers and welcome aboard! Also congratulations to all the recent members of the PIF club! yippee :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

So am I reading the threads correct and first-time cruisers were allowed to book excursions/checkin online this weekend? If so, hurray! It's so exciting!

Happy Sunday!

Should be tonight I believe.

yes, if I have it figured right. I will be up at 12:01 trying to do it. Does anyone know if you have to enter the passport numbers to complete the online check, or can you do all the reservations and put those in at a later time?

We had to have the passport numbers.

So I have volunteered to help Brenda out so we can get things moving a little sooner for those interested.

I have a master list of everyone who is participating with names and ages, most pending cabin numbers. Since there are roughly 30 cabins signed up currently, I thought we could go ahead and break it off into groups and get working!

I for one am so excited that we have passed PIF date which means this is happening and cannot wait to get all my items made and ready!

We have 2 options of splitting up into groups. First is just splitting them down the middle and adding any extra people that join by the cutoff, which is Sept 5 as they join in. Second option would be to have a group for anyone who needs to have a sooner cutoff date (set asap) and set group members with no additional added to the primary group but added to the second group until cutoff Sept 5.

This is everyone's cruise and I would love to have some input as to how you guys want to have it broken up. This should be fun, stress free and I cannot wait!

I am happy to go along with the majority of votes as to what fellow cruisers want but IMO, 30 cabins is a good number! I'd be happy with that . :)

Thank you to those helping with FE. Organizing, putting into groups etc ~

A long with others, I will probably stay up past midnight so we can finally check in!

9pm tonight! I'm going to send my baby and his father on errands. haha.. Mama needs to concentrate!

good to know, just dug them up so I have them ready. Having to do this on vacation:beach: tonight, but oh so worth it.

Palo (or Remy, not sure which one to do)- another newbie question, which night is good to do this so we don't miss something special with the kids? (such as a good show or Pirate night, etc.) I was thinking on the night they do the comedian guy, but I wasn't sure what night that is.

Thanks all of you experienced sailors for all of your help, I can't imagine doing this without you!:worship:

Ugh.... if this is true, we're in trouble. Von is still waiting on his passport, mine is the only one entered online at this time. :headache:

Ok so Jeff said you can go back and add it later, I thought it was required because at midnight he had me digging them out in a panic while he was doing the registration.

Thank goodness, I was literally fighting back the waterworks, haha.
