HI, Mike, and WELCOME ABOARD!!!

I'm Brenda and will be sailing with my husband, mother, niece, and quite a few close friends. I you check out the first page you will see that there are a couple of groups of folks who have sailed together before. This is going to be so great having so many large groups on board.

Later on, we will arrange meet and greets, FE exchanges and other gatherings. So, stay posted.

Speaking of "posting", I will add you all to our main cruise page.

Again, WELCOME ABOARD!

Hi all. We’ve been booked on this cruise since the day it opened, but now that we’re almost a year out, thought I’d stop by and say hi.

The week of this cruise has always seemed to work out with DS’s school schedule, so we shouldn’t have to miss too much school (we will know for sure once the calendar comes out next spring).

There is a chance, however, we may not be on this sailing as AFEG (some of you know him) has been talking about doing a two week cruise on another line  (which we'd be joining him). But for now, were sailing here.

Hello, and WELCOME ABOARD. I think I missed you all some how. Anyway, I like to say that I hope that you all will be joining us. It looks like it is going to be one big party on the Fantasy next October :cool1::cool1::cool1:!!

I'm going to add you to our main page. Please let me know who all are going so that I can add them as well.

Again, welcome.

Mucho thanks.. And Yes I figured there were many people cruising already because getting rooms were getting a little tight and my son who wants his own room in the 11 class, is already a gty.. So things are filling up a little.. And a year out to boot...

Yes, I was amazed that I was even able to book another room while on our Alaskan cruise right next door to the other three rooms that we have booked. So, we are all aft on the Starboard side of the ship. One room, the fifth, is really aft. They wanted the back of the ship so that they could watch sunrises and sunsets.

Oh Man.. so you are the guys who got my rear Veranda....

When the lady at the reservation desk told us the back was all taken, I had a little girl in tears for hours.. Oh and my daughter was not to pleased either...

Oh Well just starts me realizing I am going to have start booking 2 years out now.. :rotfl:

Do not know of you have seen the back Verandas but they are to die for.. plenty of shade as well as sun. A perfect spot for days at sea..

Mike

We just got off the Disney Magic last Saturday, first cruise ever, best vacation of our lives, and booked this next one onboard. Couldn't pass up the discount, obc, and the chance to sail on the Fantasy! It will be Me (36 yr old single mom. Caitlyn (DD-2), My Parents ( early 60's), and my sister (34).
We booked a Deluxe family Stateroom on Deck 6. Love having the Verandah!

Can't wait to meet some fellow cruisers!

Welcome.. Neat you will be able to compare both ships with a pretty unbiased eye.. For Myself I have a real soft spot for the Magic..

Welcome!! How was the dream?

Dream was a dream, Some minor +s and -s from the Magic..

Main thing I saw that was a big huge improvement was Cabanas over Topsiders. They really made the traffic in Cabanas flow.. IE.. I have not done the Pirate buffet in 3 years because of the huge line on the Magic... I did not even know there was a line with Cabanas.. A 100%+ improvement..

Minor complaints.. when walking the floors there are many doors that block off hallways from walking the whole deck, Magic has many halls that you can walk the whole floor.. Deck 12 was not as free walking as the upper deck on the Magic because of wind breaks.. (All minor -s but true none the less...

Main problem/complaint on the shorter cruise was that they for not do the Small world Parade at the last dinner with the group thanking of the Servers and Chiefs.. really missed that. IT NEEDS TO BE ADDED...

Found the service right up there fantastic as Usual

Kids pools were crowded but we expected that and worked around it.. Did not think the adult pool was that crowded.. Water slide was fantastic. Both theaters were fantastic. Shopping area is at least twice the size as Magic. The middle starway was beautiful. The Dream makes an effort to bring more activity into the center atrium then the Magic by moving a bar and a coffee cove and the Photo shop into the center of the ship.

I have no real complaints other then they tossed me off on the last day
