We are still trying to decide on which park to go to. We are going to do MNSSHP on the night of the 18th at the Magic Kingdom. By the way, does anyone know when we will be allowed into the park? The ticket time is 7:00pm, but I thought you could arrive early, like 4:00pm.

Say it with me, Only 16 more days until we are "Cruising Together"!!!!!

We did the MNSSHP last year. We arrived to the park sometime between 4pm and 4:30pm.

Hard to believe that 2 weeks today is Disney Fantasy Cruise Eve!!

Been watching the long range weather forcast for MNSSHP on the 18th...yesterday it looked good, today not so much . I haven't purchased our tickets yet, I don't want to be there in the rain. I'll give it another day or do and make the call...hoping it clears up!

I was just looking at the Orlando forecast. Definitly not looking like the best weather for the parks. It could change though!

We are hoping to visit Magic Kingdom. Perhaps we'll be visiting on the 27th instead of the 19th due to weather.

Hummmm, I wonder how long we should put off buying tickets. My mom WILL NOT be go to the parks in the rain.

Anyone up for a group photo of us reading our DVC Disney Files Magazines? I think we could be in the "photo finish" for the winter or spring issue. We could coordinate this with our cruise meet. Opinions/suggestions/comments?

Gee, I don't remember talk about an early deadline for this event. I think sunshine1259 (Brenda) is keeping the list for this event. Not sure where she is right now. She could be traveling. Haven't seen a post from her in a while.

Why not send her a PM? She can't miss it that way.

Any others out there considering this event? Lurkers? Help us out here...we could sure use some cabins in other categories to make this interesting.

So, true we need more folks in different categories. This cabin crawls really are a great way to check out other categories of staterooms, especially on the new ships. I would imagine very few of us have been on the Fantasy or even the Dream before.

I would say wait as long as you can. We go every year and it has never been sold out. There is a little bit of a price break to buy online before you get there. I'm waiting until a day or two before to buy ours. The weather forecast will be a lot more accurate by then. I don't really mind the rain, but if there is lightning they will cancel or postpone both the parade and fireworks. They also close down all the outside rides in the event of lightning.

Thanks, Amy. I am a DVC owner and we have a even greater discount on tickets, but I think they have to be purchased by a certain time. I am trying to find out if they will will-call them for us if we wait until a couple of days before we leave.

I don't know if it's differnt for the DVC owner tickets, but I have always been able to print the tickets immediately at the time of purchase.

This will be our first time driving to Florida. We have driven to Nova Scotia several times which is 24 hours driving time. Orlando will be approx. 20 hours Driving time. .

What is the route you are going to take??? If you are going down via the pittsburg route there are a lot of fun eateries along that path..

But from what I understand from the map, fort erie, 90 to 79, down to 19 to 77 from 77, 26 to 95. (give to take)

It's interesting that we have at least 75 cabins in our Dismeet , yet 7 cabins have volunteered for the cabin crawl?

This is only a harmless observation.

I know I don't want strangers visiting my cabin.
Obviously others feel the same way.

If you all want to fill the "crawl" with categories, perhaps there should be an incentive. Perhaps a raffle of some kind?

Anybody got an extra CC Cabana to raffle off / share?
How about a spa session? Rain Forest Pass?
Just a thought.
