Sandy, since you are out doing all that Christmas shopping, do you think you could get mine done too ? I have barely started but the internet seems to be my best option this year. Maybe this weekend I can get out and do some shopping too. I DO have my secret Santa gift!

I want the warm weather back. It is just too cold. My hands and fingers are just aching this morning.

I got my secret santa shopping done. That is about the only christmas shopping I have done!!

Sally where are you? It is Amazing Race time once again, it starts tonight...yea Are you still in the office pool for this race?

Here I am Heidi.....yes, AR starts tonight and I am in the pool....I have the black father and daughter...doesn't sound like a winner but you never know.....sometimes the younger pulls the older through.

I did decorate my mantel yesterday but until I get my furniture I am not going to do the living room.....Patti is having trouble finding a way to get mine down there as Ken is on jury duty. He may try to come up this weekend but if none of the kids down there can come with him he is going to have to have someone help him....Dick can't help him so I don't know what we are going to do. I just hope the weather is good.

I need to clean at least one room that I can finish....I hate being torn up. I went shopping with a friend yesterday and my ankle still can't take much walking.....I want to get back to curves but know I can't.

Sorry for everyones problems.....I know we all are sending up prays for them.

I have my christmas gift bought for my Disney person.....when do we mail them?

Let it heal. We all just mail the gift exchange whenever. Don't forget to use Julie's return address so that your person doesn't find out who it is.

Hi Heidi, guess what. We had to run up to Grandpa's last night. He had a nose bleed and they told us to get him to the hospital if he was bleeding. But.....by the time we got there it had stopped. Thank goodness. He has a Dr. appt today.

Sorry Susan, but I just won't volunteer to do ANYONE'S shopping. I think that gift cards will be given out by the Van Horn's this year. Just think, next year at this time I will be buying grandbaby stuff. Exciting!

Uh oh, if Faith and Kristy cried....can you imagine Heidi and I in one room doing it? Man, we set each other off. All we would need to do is add Bonnie and we would have a "good time". For the record, when we set sail from CC we were on the Walt Suite verandah with a toast. Bonnie, Heidi and I cried. We had such a good time and the bonding experience was unbelieveable that saying goodbye was so hard.

Hi there!! I'm here! Just waiting for the glass block people to come and replace our basement windows. Our basement windows are the same windows that they put in when they built the house about 45 years ago. I think it was time for a change.

Nothing else new to report. Makenzie became an "official" Daisy last night. (for those of you who don't know what a Daisy is,it is the youngest group of girl scouts..... it goes Daisies, Brownies, Jr. Girl Scout and then Senior Girl Scout). Things have changed since I was a girl scout!! But how sad is this..... I still remember the girl scout oath!!! LOL!!! I remember strange things!

Barb, I sent you a PM about who your secret santa was!!! does that count?

Julie, congrats to Makenzie ! I was a brownie but I don't think I was a girl scout. I remember in the summer having day camps along a river. It was so much fun! It was in one of the city parks and we would cook over open flame, do crafts, hike lots and lots of fun things. It was a daily thing for 2 weeks. It would be nice to replace our basement windows, too. They majorly rattle when Ted turns on the home theater.

I am having trouble getting my weight off after the cruise. They are having me change kinds of foods and when I eat them. Today for lunch I am having OATMEAL. Do you know how excited I am?? I love it. Haven't had cereal since I started this diet. Call me crazy!

I keep checking my email because we bought a new drive that we are having trouble with. They are to email me. That is why I keep checking here. Who else will come out and talk?

Ok, I called the glass block people this morning since they gave me the time frame of 12-2pm. I called because I asked them if they could give me a better time frame since I had to pick up my kids from school at 12:30pm. They told me this morning that it would be closer to the 1-2pm time. I said that was perfect! WELL....... it is now 3pm and no phone call and no glass block people!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna have to hurt someone if they don't show up soon. I have now spent all afternoon home when I had places to go!!!!!!!!!! Don't you just love service people???

Hello everyone!

I am home today after a pretty tuff night. Yesterday my eyes were bothering me all day, my right eye was swollen and my left just kind of burned. After I left work the sunlight intensified the pain. I cried most of the way home and had to drive with my right eye shut. I had these stabbing pains in my eyes from the light. After I got home I called my eye dr. I spoke to his nurse, she was so nice. I was crying the entire time I was talking to her. The pain was so bad and I was pretty scared not being able to see. Bob drove me in because by then I could not see at all. He examined my eyes and found I have a pretty bad infection on the cornea of my right eye and my left eye was starting to get the same thing. He gave me some strong medicine that I have to put in my eyes every hour. I am finally able to see pretty good again. I was not able to go to work today. Sure is scary not having your sight. Bob took today off to take care of me. He has been putting the medicine in my eyes.

Julie I got the email and I am excited about the Secret Santa. Did we set a date yet? Tonight is shopping with my girls night. I hope to find that perfect gift!

Ok, it is now 4:53pm and no call or no people at my home for the windows!! I called at 4pm and got an answering service and they told me they would get the message to them ASAP and that someone would call me back. WELL.......... NOTHING!!!! I'm not happy!!!!!!

Barb, sorry to hear about your eye infections. Glad you have medicine to help!!! We didn't set a date yet, but I will look at a calendar and give some possible dates.

Well gotta go! I've got ANOTHER call to make!!!

I just read here on the DIS that a new store opened up in DTD. I guess it is a store where everything is $10.00 and under and has a huge stitch outside of it. It is near Home of Disney. I guess I was a few weeks too early, darnit!!!

I finally made it here.

ANother fun day. Kaleigh woke up coughing and has another cold. It is day #8 of diarrhea. Kaleigh would not eat or drink a thing and I thought I was going to have to take her to the ER. She slept on me for about 1/2 hour and had a little to drink. She is not drinking as much as I would like, but she is not dehydrated. I couldn't get in to see the doctor. We are still waiting for test results and I have to present yet another stool sample. Jasper has an eye infection, but I can't get him to the vet until tomorrow. Jerry's dad is sick. They are going to do some upper GI tests on Saturday. His ulcer may be bleeeding. Jerry's mom may cancel Thanksgiving. Kaleigh seems to be feeling better. I hope this cold doesn't turn into another ear infection.

Julie: I am sorry about your SIL baby. I know they wanted a 3rd child. I am so sick of service people. I hate waiting around for them! I agree about not getting the kids together until they are well.

Barb: OUCH! Hope you are feeling better!

I too was a Brownie. I wasn't a girl scout though. I am sure Makenzie will enjoy being a Daisy.

I do have some Christmas shopping done. I need to get out shopping, but I can't with Kaleigh sick.

I got my CD, Bonnie. Like a GOOD mother and wife, I waited for Ted and Heidi. Man, did you ever see the episode on Dick Van **** where Laura kept opening Rob's mail? I kind of felt like that today.
