Good Morning
I am posting from home. I had a few extra minutes so I am trying to finish up my Christmas cards. I started them last night but didn't quite finish. Denine I know you posted your new address a while back. I didn't get it transfered to my Christmas card file. Would you please post it again.

I have a 4 hour training and a meeting with my manager today.
What a fun filled day I have in store.

The wedding plans are coming along pretty good. I have to get the bridesmaids tiara's, book the caterer, sign the contract for the horse and carriage, buy stamps for the invitations and I should be done until after the cruise. At least I hope so. The Cinderella and Prince Charming cake figurine came in yesterday. Cute Cute Cute!

Better get back to my Christmas cards.

Good morning to all of you sunshines.

Barb - The bridesmaids get tiara's.....I wish my sister did that so I could have worn one!!! Sounds like the wedding is coming along great, can't wait to see the final product!!!

For the cruise I found a beautiful dress that I want so bad, but I can't see myself wasting $150 for one night on a dress. Especially when I have my bridesmaid dress from my sisters wedding that I could use.

Busy day for me today. Staff meeting, trying to get out of birthday lunches, and catch up on work.

Good to see everyone still pluggin along. Same here. Daily drama's with the middleschol girl from he** giving Katie grief everyday. Boy I can't wait till she's thru with the teen's and she's only 11 now. We are getting even closer from it but I hate that Katie is being emotionally hurt. Yada yada yada, I could go on, but I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about anyway.
So, big plans for cruises, weddings, dentists... everyone is so busy.

Bonnie, has wheels and a new dentist. Happy day for Bonnie.

Lori, poor Katie. She is such a love. I hate to hear that some bully is picking on her. Does that bully want me to come down there???

Hi guys! Today was Makenzie's orientation for Kindergarten. She was so excited! She can't wait until tomorrow which is her OFFICIAL first day! They have a pet rabbit in her class named snowball. The room is PERFECT for her! THere are Disney characters ALL over the room walls! There was Mickey and Minnie, Pooh Tigger, Eyeore, Dumbo, the Seven Dwarfs,etc. It was as if this room was made for her!!! She has all her school supplies and CAN'T WAIT!!! I just hope she still feels that way as she gets older.

Hey Susan, I already got my paper that I ordered from Turner's school. Make sure he gets the 9 credits that they told me he will get. I hope we helped him out alittle!! How did hockey tryouts go? Keep us posted!

Where is Denine today? I was looking for her packing updates.

Bonnie, glad you have wheels now! How's the harp lessons going?

Barb, glad to see you have everything in order and things are going smoothly! I wish I was as organized at you!

Sandy, WAY TO GO ON THE 8.5lbs. You are doing sooooooooo good! I'm not skinny by no means! I still have the prego pooch! (the lower tummy). That seems to be the hardest area for me to lose! I'm still trying!

Lori, I hated my pre teen years! If there were years I would like to forget, it is 6-8 grade years! Tell Katie we are with her and it WILL get better! It is sooo hard to be a girl that age.

Heidi-keep an eye on the dress for a sale! I stayed in town today to check the Lord & Taylor and Strawbridges...L&T all picked over like the one in central Jersey...I think we missed all the good bargains! People beat us out! I think last time we went even later than this as I recall and there were tons! I think they must have decreased their stock so they had less left over.

Maybe Ideal Jeanne? They have beautiful gowns there. I need to lose weight!!!!!!!!!!!! And even more so exercise!!!

It was a much better day today. Thank God! I still need Margaritas tomorrow night.

SANDY: I am SOOOO proud of you. I want that diet by Monday. That is the day I always start my diet.

BONNIE: Saw Trish today at work. I can't remember where Pam lives but will talk to you about where we will meet, shop, etc. on Friday unless you decide to go to Los Amigos tomorrow night.

BARB: Christmas cards! You are too much but I guess you have so much on your plate you are just trying to plan ahead.

LORI: Poor Katie. I think most of us were a little traumatized by those pre-teen years. Kids can be so cruel.

JULIE: Mackenzie is a school girl! You must be so poroud.

WOW! So many posts to read.

I opted for a nap today instead of signing on. We went to the fair last night and had a good time, but my alleriges didn't. I had a pounding headache all night and was feeling miserable this morning. I was so tired from it all.

I did manage to get 2 more boxes packed.

Kaleigh turns 2 1 month from today!

Makenzie: Good luck with your 1st day of school tomorrow!

Jeanne: Enjoy your margaritas tomorrow. I am having a 7&7 now. We finished our tequila last week making margaritias. Trying to use stuff up so we don't have to move it.

Bonnie, etc..: Good luck with your shopping bargains on Saturday.

Barb: Christmas cards? You amaze me with your organization! I will e-mail you our new address. The wedding sounds like it will be beautiful! Wish we could be there.

Sandy: WOW! Way to go!

Lori: Poor Katie. I hope things get better.

The buyers for our house officially had their loan approved today which means our house is officially SOLD!!!

Just trying to get all the utilities hooked up for Sept 1st for the new house.

Turner's tryouts went OK last night but he has round 2 tomorrow night. We won't know anything until sometime next week."

Not much to say today but good morning. It is rough getting up in the mornings this week for me because I am use to sleeping in now so I am not as talkative.

Today is an employee barbecue that I am going to go to for lunch. So mom I guess this week has not been the best week for me with the diet!!!

Denine - best to get rid of all alcohol and then get new fresh stuff to celebrate in your new home!!!

Mom do you remember my first day of kindergarten? I do I know what I was wearing and the backpack I had on and the car we drove in to get to school!!! Hopefully Mackenzie had a good first day.

Lori - tell Katie to hang in there, kids can be so cruel...I will fight them off for her and will be her big sister so that she never gets picked on again. I never had a problem at all in school so I was lucky.

Heidi not talkative when she is tired, yah, right. Have fun at the BBQ. What I would do to have REAL food! Yum! Do I remember your first day of kindergarten. Yep, like it was yesterday. I remember all the tears (my tears, not yours), the clothing, the cars, Dad and Louise showing up. I cried all the way home. Something like 8 miles.....they took my babies, I have no one at home now. I had two and then there were none. Awful feeling.

Makenzie had a great 1st day of school! Garry and the rest of the family and me too took Makenzie to school today. She got in line with the others in her class and stood there like a pro. I too was like the rest of the mommies and cried! There goes my first baby!

I picked her up from school and she was all smiles! I'm sooooo glad that she likes it so well!

Well, gotta go! Brooke is demanding something! I'll be back!

Hi guys, I forgot to say something earlier. I was watching the news last night and they said that it has been confirmed that eating 1 1/2 grapefruits a day helps speed up your metabolism. It is on my diet so I think that I may try it for a few days. Food for thought.

Sandy: How come everything that is supposed to help you lose weight, I hate? I have treid all colors of grapefruit with and without sugar and I can't stand the stuff. I am trying to drink the green iced tea.

Julie: How did we know you were going to cry? Glad Makenzie enjoyed her 1st day of school!

Sue: Tell Turner he can do it! Hope you ge back on the boards soon.

Got more packing done. It took 1-1/2 boxes to pack the alcohol. I need to make a list of stuff to get while on our cruise.

Heidi: I don't really remember my 1st day of kindergarten. But, then I only went to that school for a month before we moved.

We move 2 weeks from today!!!!!

I have asked our trusty friend to bring his camera on the 4th when we move stuff ourselves so he can take pictures of the house and then I can e-mail them.

I am feeling better today. The paper said it was supposed to be 88 today, but it is only 75 with clouds and ocassional rain.

Bought a shower curtain for Kaleigh's bathroom last night. I hope it looks good with her valance.

Barb - If it was up to me and my parents didn't get a hold of it, I probably would still have that little backpack. It was a way cool pound puppies, light/bright blue one if I remember correctly. I am such a major packrat. Hopefully that will change when I get my own place!!!

Geez Denine, only 1 1/2 boxes.....are they big boxes or small one!!!

Bonnie & Pam both showed up at Los Amigos. What a great surprise! Joyce & I were there along with four other friends from work. I sure needed those Margaritas.

DENINE: I like the idea of finishing all the alcohol instead of packing it.

GO TURNER GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to TRY to get to the pool (for the second time all summer) tomorrow. Saturday shopping arrangements all made - pick up Joyce, then Bonnie & Pam, have breakfast at Cracker Barrel (to get our strength) & then off to a day of shopping!

Hope you all have lots of fun things planned for this weekend.

Great time a Los Amigos...Pam enjoyed said she would go anytime! She was the only non nurse there.

Looking forward to shopping...of course I wish I was 15# lighter.

Made the ressie for airfare, I was abble to use FF miles! They had great fares to Orlando-$59 !!!! But unfortunately they didn't fit in with the times I needed. Heck for that price It woul pay to go down for a long weekend!

Heidi- I arrive at approx 6PM...that would mean that you would have to hang around the airport for approx. 4 hours...don't know if you want to do that. If you are I would love to ride share with you!

Gotta run to get ready for work TGIF!!!

5:00 AM call from my Aunt to say my Mom fell & can't get up but said she didn't think I could lift her so my poor "good" son had to go over before work & pick her up. Everything is fine.

Glad to hear Pam liked the nurses. We are a fun bunch.

BONNIE: I forgot to tell you that I had a patient that lived at 40 Chelsea Circle. They just moved in.

Can't wait for the shopping excursion. Some time today I am going to TRY ON (squeeze into) my semi-formal & formal clothes to see what fits. TGIF Toodles JEANNE
