Hiddy ho everyone! I've been lurking for the last few days once we got our computers back up and running.
Jeanne, please tell Joyce that I hope she is feeling better! Have fun on your trip with your son. I wish we all were cruising together again this Oct. Maybe we can meet in the parking lot between the cruises! THEN we can plan on maybe all cruising again ......... in 2006? By then maybe Disney will be cruising to Alaska!!!
Sandy, don't you hate when people do that to you! I had that problem with the guys who put down our carpet in our basement. I was told one day and time and they didn't show. Then the day they told me the were goin to be coming on another day and that we would be one of the first of the day, and we ending up being the last! I had to call the carpet place three time that day to find out what was going on. On top of that, they finally showed up at 6pm on FRIDAY! I was soooooo upset because I was trapped and couldn't go anywhere the entire day. I know how you feel! I just had to go through something like that again with continental airlines!
Thanks to Heidi who posted she got such a great rate, I checked our flights to FL for Oct. I bought them around the first of July because they were starting to go up in price so I got them. After I saw Heidi's post, I checked the flights again and they were $43 cheaper then what I bought them for! So I called them and they told me that I would have to pay a $100 ticketing fee per ticket to get the lower flight!!!!!!!!!!!I said that we had e tickets and that there is NO ticket to re-ticket I told them so you are telling me in order for me to get the cheaper flight I would have to GIVE THEM money!! I told them that that was rediculious and that I wanted the number to their cooperate offices. So I called them and I told them that this was unbelievable and for the airlines to cry poor us because people arn't flying and those of us who are flying, this is how you treat your customers? Well, to make a long story short, they are sending me vouchers for the difference. PEOPLE!!!!!!! Can't stand people who try to pull one over on others to make a buck!
Sally and Heidi, I'm a reality junkie too! I hate Jase and I hope that they gang up on him this week coming up! Boy did Diane blow the whole veto competition! Why on earth would she not have put all but one token in Jase's pig!!!! I think she is a few sandwiches short of a picnic! She really doesn't think things out completely! I sure hope that Scott is the one to leave this week!
DId you watch the Amazing race too? Who are your favorites there. I think Brendon and his girlfriend are my favorite. I taped switching spouses since your post from last week so I had to see that one too. That is different! I don't think that show I could do! HEY!!!!!!!!!! WE could do a trading spouses disney cruiser style! We will put all of our hubby's name in a hat and them we can pick which hubby we get for a week! Do you think that we could get our guys to do that? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Susan, good for you! I'm proud of you! YOu go girl! I'm still trying to lose on my own, but I don't know that I'm doing it. I think that I can see change, but I just don't know if I'm doing it or it's just wishful thinking. YOu keep it up!
