Good Morning!

Ethan was so cute at his class last night. Although probably only his Nana thinks so. There were mats and climby things everywhere. He was so excited he ran around trying everything. It was a class full of 2 year olds but most of them stayed with the teacher. I asked the teacher if it was normal for him to run around and she said a lot of kids explore their first week so we shall see how he does next week.

Good morning all. Just wanted to check in and say goodbye. Keep the thread up and running for us. I have a busy day of lanudry, finishing cleaning the house, pampering myself and getting a manicure and pedicure and dropping the dog off at my uncle's and asking my cousin to be my bridesmaid!!!

Love you all and have a great week!!

Barb - I think that is cute that he ran around and explored everything. It tells you he is not afraid of new things and welcomes them.

Barb: It sounds like Ethan had fun! I have been wanting to get Kaleigh into something, but I haven't had time to research anything.

Heidi: I wish I was going with you! Our trip is only a month away though.

Barb: You can come with Julie and me next October for a reunion cruise. We are sailing 10-11-08. Anyone else? It is an Eastern.

Kaleigh's pictures came out really cute again.

It is only 59 out right now.

I need to pick tomatoes today. At least they are winding down. All you see when you open my freezer is sauce! At least we will not starve this winter!

Julie: Thank you for my mi & chop!
Also, if no one can come on Saturday, how about if you all come on Sunday? There will still be cake and lasagna. We can have a mini party.

Just an idea.

I am glad Brooke is enjoying pre-school.

Denine-I may just do that. I looked up Tiffany's fall break and this year is starts on Oct 12. They keep it pretty close to the same time every year!
I have a deposit down on the Panama cruise. Not sure if we will go or not for several reasons one being I have never been on a cruise without my family and it would only be Bob and I. Not sure a Disney cruise would be as fun without friends and/or family.

Can you post Keligh's pictures? She is such a cutie I would love to see her picture.

I am planning a "Sleepover" for my girls. Here are the ideas I have so far. It will be called "A Night at the Spa" I am going to do facials. There will be several other stations. One for manicures and pedicures, one for hair and one for makeup. After the girls are all done we are having a fashion show. I would also like to have a scrapbook station where the girls will do a 2 page spread leaving places for about 4 pictures. I will take a couple of pictures of each girl getting done up then a group one of them in their fashion show stuff and one of them in their jammies.

Guess what. My manager told me today I earned "High Gear Performer" This is really an honor and hard to get! I was soooo excited. :cool1:

Heidi and Stacy, have a super time on your cruise! We will be thinking of all of you!

Barb, congrats on your honor at work!

Denine, sunday is no good either. The Browns are home against Baltimore. There are only 3 games that are must to go and it's Pittsburgh (but that was ugly! It was nice to see all the people who sit by us though. We have fun no matter what the Browns do when we all get together. The one guy lives in Fl. and flys in to go the games!), Cinncy (that is this weekend) and Baltimore the following weekend. WHY they scheduled all 3 big games week after week is beyond me!

Brooke is LOVING pre-school! Her teacher is very nice. She had gym tomorrow. I'm making french onion soup and chicken paperkas(sp) for dinner tonight. Makenzie has soccer practice tomorrow and then another game this saturday at 6:30pm. Then she has a game on Tuesday night and then LOGOS starts on Wed. (that's our version of PSR class, but at ours they serve the kids dinner. It goes from 5:30 to 8pm. It is open to all denominations.) We have several catholic kids in our LOGOS along with other children from other churches.

Makenzie scored 3 goals in last saturday's game. Her team scored 5 goals and she scored 3 of them.

Well, gonna go. I'll be back later!

Barb: Congrats on your honor at work!

Julie: We have one other proposal. You and Garry can drop the kids off at the party once you pick up Makenzie. Then you guys can go to the game and Jerry can take the kids home or to your mom's.

Barb: I love the slumber party ideas. Can I come too?

Evryone will have to wait until Chirstmas for Kaleigh's pictures. I haven't a clue how to post them.

It is actually pretty nice out right now.

Jerry is working from home tomorrow, but I am not working. I only have 2 days this month. And, I don't have anymore meetings to go to either.

I hear ya Denine!- I don't know how to post pictures either!

I am looking forward to seeing her pictures!

Sure you can come to the "Sleep Over" It should SUPER FUN!

Well the VanHorn crew should all be in WDW by now! I wish we were with them now! I'll be in the thoughts at least!

Brooke just LOVES preschool! She is having so much fun and she really like the other children in the class to play with. She has I think a class size of 9 children to 2 teachers. Today she had gym and LOVED it! They made gum ball machines out of paper today because they were working on shapes today and the circle was "the shape of the day". Brooke's is hang out in the hall of the school. Brooke thinks it GREAT to have to go to "other classrooms" for classes. (the gym for gym, an activity room for sand playing, painting, block building, creative house/kitchen area and this week they had a slide with mats to play on. Each week the activity room changes.

Denine, I will have to get back to you about Kaleigh's party. The other proposal won't work either because her game is scheduled for 3:30pm AWAY(which it NEVER starts on time, usually anywhere from 15 to 30 mins late) SO by the time she will be done with the game will be after 4:30 and we leave to go down (we take the rapid) around 5:30. SO, the game, getting her "released" by the coach after the game, changing of the child out of the uniform, we won't have the time to take her out there and make it back to go. I'll keep thinking of other options. It's not hopeless yet.

Barb, you are such a busy little beaver! You go girl!

Well, gonna go and check homework and then get the kids dinner and then off to soccer practice!

I'll be back!

Julie & Denine- I sent you an email with a link to Jason's video. He entered a contest. The video is awesome! (Proud Mom talking here):teeth:

The girl in the video is my daughter in law Michelle.

Hi Barb! The video was super! Thanks for sharing. Did he win?

Denine, so are youready for the cold? Don't worry, it will be back in the 80's by the end of next week.

Well, we FINALLY booked our air! I had told Denine and Jerry about our luck! We got non stop from Cle to Orlando on Southwest for $140 per person! When you have to pay for 5 people to fly, the cheapest and fastest is the way to go! We usually fly continental, but the air for that time was $202 to $212 per person plus taxes! So that was some good news yesterday!

Tomorrow Makenzie has a soccer game at 6:00pm! Nothing like being freezing cold and watching soccer!

Makenzie got her first test in science back and her first spelling test back and she got A+'s on BOTH!!! She is doing FANTASTIC with this year's teacher(s) (she has the other 3rd grade teacher for science). Garry is doing super too in 1st grade!

Well, gonna go!

I'll be back!

Julie: That is awesome about everyone and school! We almost chose to fly in October. Jerry found $37 each way on Spirit, but the logisitics were too much and I have been looking forward to a road trip adventure, so we passed. It was a 24 hour sale.

We went to Kiddieland last night. Kaleigh had 5 tickets left and then we played mini golf that is part of Kiddieland. THen we came home and played the Disney game and Candy land.

We were supposed to go to our friends to play cards tonight, but sickness is in their house. Kaleigh is so desperate to see some friends.

I made a fall "Mickey" wreath for my front door. I bought 1 wreath and 2 candle rings and wired them together. The rings need to be a bit bigger, but it looks cute. I am going to do the same for a winter wreath. I bought the stuff, but again, I need bigger rings.

Kaleigh and I got new pirate costumes for the cruise. They are cute and they match. They just came today, so we haven't had a chance to try them on yet. They are pink and black.

Barb: I will have to check out the video.

Bon Voyage to the Van Horn's!

Hi guys!

Garry and I watched the VanHorn's sail away today!

Makenzie had a soccer game today at 6:00pm today. THEY WON!!! Makenzie scored the first goal!!!! They won 3 to 2. We are sooooooo proud of her.

Tomorrow we are going down to watch the Browns get their behinds handed to them. Then early to bed for school on monday for Garry and Makenzie. Then tuesday everyone goes to school and Makenzie has a soccer game at 6:30pm that night. Then Wed is Logos for Garry and Makenzie and then on Thursday is soccer practice for Makenzie. Fun fun fun!

Denine, Kiddieland? Do you mean Kiddie Park on Memphis? Garry and Makenzie are too tall (have been) for most of the rides there. The only ones they can go on are the Train, merry go round and the roller coaster. But after going to Cedar Point this year, their attitude is "kiddie park? What's kiddie park?" LOL!!! Brooke would like it though!

Well, gonna go! Have a super sunday everyone!!

TTFN

Julie: MAkenzie is going to be the next Mia Hamm! Yes, it is Kiddie Park, but Jerry always calls it kiddieland. Next year will probably be the next year for Kaleigh.

I am up at 3:30 AM because of my allergies and a headache. I want a hard frost and then it can go back to being nice.

I forgot to mention that Kaleigh got a hole-in-one playing mini golf.

Our pirate costumes look cute. We tried them on last night.

Good Morning!

WOW Julie SUPER price on the tickets. I am still looking for December. I made the mistake of only getting mine and Bobs when they FINALLY got down to $250 Tiffany right now is $355.

Denine-The wreath sounds so cute. Wish I could see it. Explain what the "Candle Rings" look like.

I started embroidering the girls pillow cases. I got 8 of them sewn and now putting their names on them. Not sure what else I am going to do to them.

Julie- The contest is not over until the 20th then they will not announce the winner until the end of October. I was really impressed that Jason did such a great job.

I have been watching a travel channel show on Disney at Christmas. I am SOOOO ready to go!:santa:
