I think crocs are the ugliest shoes but thanks to Heidi, I own a pair, too. Very comfy! Disney crocs sound interesting!

Julie, I think the theme of your vacation was WATER. LOL Everywhere you went you got soaked. I love it when that happens! Guest conductor was so cool. I bet they really enjoyed that!

Heidi, I agree with Julie and you. Love the pictures but too many "collages" could make for a "busy" wedding album. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the black and white ones with a splash of color. LOVE IT!

Good afternoon

I had a post typed up ready to post this morning, got a call and lost it.

I am in the last stretch of my first 10 hour day. BLAH! I am sure it could be worse so I am thankful I got the hours I did. But still 10 hours BLAH!


Heidi- I like the photographer you chose. I do like the collage look. If the pictures were scrapbooked they would look a lot like that. I think it makes your photo album more interesting. Love the backgrounds.

I have crocs too. I bought my first pair to work in the backyard. Thought they would be easy to slip on and off. Then I found the Mickeys. HAD TO HAVE A PAIR!! They are really comfy. One thing I don't like is the small is a tiny bit small and the medium's are huge!

Julie: Yep, that was where I got SOAKED on Splash Mountain. I was in the 2nd row and got completely dumped on. That is cool about the "guest conductor" thing.

I was waiting for Julie report on the rest of her trip in her Crocs beofre I decided on whether to get a pair for our next trip. They are so ugly!

Kaleigh had a good first day at Safetyville, but it wasn't the play hour/social affair I think she was hoping for. We did warn her. But, based on what she has told us, she did listen, even though it was "boring".

Barb: Hang in there. You will get used to it.

Good Morning all! Well the AC guy is here to fix the NEW AC. When we got home from vacation, it didn't seem as cool as it was when we left. The temp was reading 78/80 when we had the temp hold at 73. Anyways, I had them come out yesterday and they think the compressor or something inside the AC unit in the house went bad bu they couldn't do anything yesterday because the unit inside was frozen. ONLY US!!!! But at least everything is under warranty so it doesn't cost us a thing.

Heidi, the crocs were about $32 I think or somewhere around there. I think the mickey's on the top of the shoes are cute even though they are ugly shoes. They are comfy!!!

Barb, Garry has been working 10hr days for almost 2 yrs now. The 10hr days are hard, but having those 3 day weekends are nice. Unfortunatey, when Garry gets called at all hours of the night OR when he is SUPPOSE to be off, it doesn't look so good. We have gotten use to it though.

Denine, your Safetyville/Safetytown is only an hour long? I think ours was about 2hours each day (9am to 11am) I believe. My kids LOVED it. It was like a fun school for them. They had lots of kids from their preschool in thw week long safetytown, so it made it much easier on them to be there for that long since preschool was about that long. I'm sure Kaleigh will enjoy it just as much.

Good Morning

Thought I would check in early this morning. Hope everyone had a good evening. I was not feeling very well all day yesterday so last night I pretty much did nothing but some light housework just so I could be prepared for this morning. I use to clean every morning before I left for work but not anymore! Missy has made dinner the past 2 days I am so glad I didn't have to deal with that. Went to bed about 9:30.

Got Jaymee's quilt put mostly together. Today I will put on the back.

I was thinking today how close the Disney cruise is for Heidi, Stacey and Sandy. Wish I was going too.

Barb - I went to bed early yesterday too!!! This week is a big stress week for me so I left work with a headache and not wanting to do a thing when I got home. I can't wait until Thursday afternoon, once I leave work I am not coming back until July 9th. I can't wait to get away and spend some time with my mom, dad, sister, and n & n.

Julie - no air conditioner...I would die!!!! Although Chris and I have been letting our house get up to 82 before we turn it on. We don't think about it and then when we are getting hot we notice it is 82!!!!

Denine - You have to get crocs...most comfortable shoes ever!!! But I am a dork and I wear socks with mine, otherwise they rub on the top of my feet.

Julie-Mine are black with a red strap. Had to have the "Mickey" colors. I am not one of those to wear bright colors and draw attention to my feet. My other pair is navy blue.

That's ok Heidi, I wore socks with mind for the first day for that same reason, and Garry told me I looked polish so I took my socks off right there and then!

That's ok. I wear socks with them too. Heck, if people don't like it, don't look at my feet!!! I use to wear birkenstocks because of my bad feet. Yep, you guessed it. I wore socks then too. I will wear socks with crocs if it is cold outside and no socks if it is warm. I agree I believe with Barb about the sizes. Small is too small and the next size is a whopper. Nothing in between.

Hey Denine, being Kaleigh wants some kids interaction, how about vacation bible school at a church? I use to love going to VBS.

Julie, got the AC up and working yet? I thought it was just MY luck when new things don't work. Hope I didn't rub off on you.

Barb, I use to work 4 10 hour days at the Courts and loved it. My boss somehow worked it where we got 4 days off in a row. For the life of me, I can't remember how she did it but it was GREAT!!! LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!

This is my last day of babysitting Graci and then I am officially retired. While I am very sad, I am just as excited. I know I will cry but I got a taste of not babysitting last week and it was wonderful!
Vacation is next week. Going to the campground for a week.

Ok, so I have been crying. Heather and I were talking and I started in and she ran out the door. She is trying to help me through it.

Sandy: I know it is hard, but look what you get to look forward too, no babysitting. All your time will be your own.

Julie: Safetyville is 1-1/2 hours, but I only get an hour to myself by the time I get back and the time I have to leave again. Today, I cleaned the classroom and got it organized for Kindergarten.

I will probably get a pair of Crocs before our October trip. My feet sure take a beating on vacation. I just don't know if it will be the Mickey one's. I like the dark pink better than the light pink, so I might find regular ones in a darker pink and maybe I'll add some Disney doo dads!

Julie: I hope you got your AC fixed. We haven't even turned ours on.

Heidi: You turn your AC on when it gets to be 82 in the house? We don't turn ours on until it is 90 in the house and then we only do it for the cats.It is 89 in here right now I and I am pretty comfy.

Sandy: Kaleigh has plenty of kids to play with around here, sometimes too many! The little boy next door just waits till Kaleigh comes outside and zoom, he's there. I don't mind as long as Alex doesn't show up. Kaleigh and Marco play well together.

Hello, it will be in the 80's again today. Nice! Maybe some bad storms though.

Running around trying to get things made, bought, packed etc for vacation. We will leave either tomorrow after work or Friday after work. That reminds me, Heidi. Give me a call later about what you want to do.

Hi everyone! Nothing new here. Anna Marie went home today to go to Mertyl Beach (sp) with her mom. She will be back HOPEFULLY when she get home.

My grandmother from FL. is coming up on Sunday until the 15th. She is dying to see the kids.

We decided NOT to have Makenzie be on the traveling soccer team. She is going to be on the recreation team like last year. She and her friends Sydnee and Skylar will be on her team again as well. I think she will like being on the rec. team better, at least for next year.

We are suppose to go to the Indians game tonight, but they are calling for rain. Hopefully it will hold out and we can get the game in. It's suppose to be only in the lower 70's for the next few days! This weather in nuts!

We did get the AC fixed, HOPEFULLY it will continue to work right. But now with the weather change, we won't need it! Oh well!

I am happy to see you post Julie. I was beginning to think that we chased off Barb, Denine and you. I think that the rec team will be perfect for Makenzie. Another year with her friends won't hurt and will give her that much more experience. Looks like Heidi and I will drive down to the campground tomorrow night. Ted will go down Friday night. Maybe, I will get on Stacey's computer and say hello. Hugs! I am really missing you right now.
