Sally, it doesn't even look like we will get the 1-4 that they thought for today. That will be good for us because I have to drive down to Monument tomorrow and I HATE to drive in the snow. Pretty much, I wouldn't have done it if the storm had hit like it was suppose to. I think he will adjust to the altitude fairly quickly if he is that young!

Monument Hill can be really bad......hope the storm just goes away and it is the last of the season....enough is enough

Dick just called from work and wants to go to Country Buffet for lunch so that is where we are going. I don't actually have a headache but my head kinda of hurts and I feel stuffy....

Two weeks from today our first week will almost be over at Disney...:sad2:

Oh oh Sally, that is how I felt last week and it turned out to be an icky head cold. I saw Monument Hill on live feed on tv and it was soooo foggy and they were laying down chemicals for icy roads. At least, when we finally hit Monument tomorrow it will be around 11 and sunny! That's a good thing.

I don't thnk Stacey will read this for awhile. She is so busy with moving so I think I can post it. I am an emotional wreck today. I avoided going to her house with Heidi today because all I am doing is crying. That certainly isn't the support she needs right now. I wish I could be strong....but I can't. What's sad is that Richard and Chris don't understand it. I married a wonderful man who supports me through this.

Epcot's 'Spaceship Earth' to Feature Re-Imagined Time-Travel Adventure
and New Finale Presented by Siemens

At Epcot, a re-imagined Spaceship Earth will combine the magic of the iconic attraction's time-travel adventure into the past with a new finale, presented by Siemens, which lets Guests imagine their futures.

Enhancements to the time-travel attraction will encompass changes to each of the ride scenes. New show scenes will be added to the attraction's story along with new lighting effects, costumes, set decoration, narration and musical score. The time travel adventure will be enhanced through new, interactive touch screens installed aboard each "time machine" that will enable guests to create their own visions of the future and see themselves in that future.

As guests disembark the time travel experience, they are invited to visit Project Tomorrow: Inventing the World of Tomorrow presented by Siemens, where interactive exhibits bring to life the ideas and technologies Siemens is developing to help make the world a better place for the future.

The space is filled with fun, interactive games and displays that showcase innovative technologies. Here guests step into the world of tomorrow and glimpse the future of medicine, transportation and responsible energy management across the globe.

Opening to Epcot guests later this month, the first completed phases of Project Tomorrow will include an illuminated globe -- measuring 20 feet in diameter -- that will offer an ever-changing collage of inspirational images that invite guests to imagine the wonders of tomorrow; Body Builder, a 3-D game that enables users to assemble a digital human body; and, Super Driver, a driving simulation video game that showcases motor vehicle accident and avoidance systems developed by Siemens.

With phased renovations occurring through the year, Spaceship Earth's makeover is scheduled to be fully completed in early 2008.

As always, Garry is there with the latest WDW info. Thanks for posting it.

Sandy: It was great talking to you to the other day. Jerry is the one that told me to IM you. Hang in there. You will get through this! :grouphug:

Sally: Don't think if it as the end of your first week already. You haven't even gotten there yet!

My 3 days of work are over! I did however persuade a family to get hospice for their loved one. Eveyone else had tried and I talked with her yesterday. As of last night, the family member is on hospice. I have known this resident for the whole time I have worked there, so it is hard to see this person like this, but hospice was the best answer.

We took Kaleigh to see Meet The Robinson's last night. It was a cute movie. Kaleigh wants to know when it will be out on video.

Tonight we go to our friends for cards and we are supposed to get 1-3" of snow and wind. Yuck! The roads won't be cleaned because tomorrow is Sunday.

Tomorrow we have a birthday party. I still need to wrap the present.

10 more days of crappy weather until we get to WDW!

1 more day of work. Just next Friday.

Good Afternoon!

I was so busy yesterday I didn't take the time to post. I think I have my Missionette stuff ready to hand off to my assistant. I had to plan all their crafts and bad them all up. BLAH what a chore that was.

Had a staff meeting for Missionettes today at Cracker Barrel. Thought about you Sandy since I know you like to eat there.

I have some errands to run so I am out the door. This weekend is flying by. We leave for Denver next Saturday night. Missy is having Ethan's 2nd birthday party next Saturday afternoon So there will be no time to do anything next weekend. I have to finish everything this week. :scared1:

Hi Guys! First off....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DICK !!!

I hope he had a nice day!

Today went by fast. Makenzie scored 2 goals!!! at today's soccer game. It was the first outdoors game for the spring. Tomorrow's game is at the indoors field. It was pretty cold out today for the game. Right now it is snowing but it isn't sticking.

Sandy and Heidi and Stacey, hang in there. Everything will work out alright. I know it will be hard at first but you will see that this will be ok.:grouphug: Just think how much you will see each other this summer!!!!

Barb and Sally I would love to go to disney with you guys too! I guess I will have to wait until June. OH... when you go to Alfredo's , tell them how upset you are that they are closing. When I made our ressies for June I told the guy how upset I was and he said to tell them when we go. It might not do anything, BUT he said it won't hurt. I told him that no other place would be the same and he said I know, I know. A lot of people are upset he told me.

Denine, I hope you have a good time tonight. Hopefully the snow will hold off so you won't have any troubles getting home.

Well, gotta go. Bath time!

I guess Jeanne has left us too!!! :sad1: Please come back!!

Hi guys, thanks for the words of encouragement. It isn't pretty with the 3 of us right now. Too many tears and I could have KILLED her MIL. We got through the day though. Somewhat talked to Stacey today on the phone. Too many tears and she was shopping and trying to stay in control in public. I told her I cried in Hallmark so she could cry in Kohls. LOL.

Thanks Garry for the info. It was interesting to read. So how was Vegas?

Barb, we were THINKING about staying at the Embassy Suites last night and I thought of you. How funny! Cracker Barrel isn't too far from there.

Denine and Julie, hopefully the storm will blow over for you guys like it did for us. It took a southern path so we didn't get slammed, thankfully. We were to get another huge storm beginning of this week but it looks like more rain than snow.

Ted is out cutting the grass. It is so green and beautiful. We are headed to Armadillos for brunch and then Ted is going to work on the trailer. He is just putting on some extras and wants to wash it before we take it down. Gotta show it off you know. LOL

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY DICK!!

I forgot to mention Dick's birthday! Happy Birthday!

We had a nice time last night. It snowed, but the roads weren't bad since it stayed about 34 degrees. We didn't get to bed until 3 AM.

Yeah Makenzie!

Keep hanging in witht he move guys!

Cutting the grass! :rotfl2: I can only imagine that!

Getting ready to go to the birthday party. They never have enough food. They ran out last time and not everyone got to eat. This is always the case.

Barb: You will get it all done. Don't worry! Just think of the reward!::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo pluto: :donald: :goofy: :tink:

Send out the Mounties for Jeanne!

Just got done talking to Stacey. We actually TALKED!!! No tears, no anything. Progress! Then Heidi happened to call and we TALKED. No tears. We all have come a long way today!

It is windy now and getting cold. Maybe snow/rain showers tomorrow.

I ate and ate over the weekend. Guess I am an emotional eater. I called LA Weight Loss and put a hold on me next week. Now I have to work harder than ever!

Anybody have a good idea on how to clean those white "plastic" patio chairs? Mine are getting so grungy and we use them camping. I don't want to throw them out and get new because these are heavy duty and they don't make them like that anymore.

Well our weekend sucked, I was an emotional wreck and not very strong. Chris doesn't understand and did not support me one bit....not even a hug or kiss like I asked for when I was sobbing.

My best friend did take me out yesterday to keep me busy. We went to the zoo with her son and then dropped him off with her mom for a nap while we went cruising in her brand new jeep and found a cool bar that will probably end up our summer bar!!!! She got the new 4 door Wrangler and since it was such a nice day yesterday we were going to attempt to take the Jeeps top off. It took us about 2 hours to figure how to take it off and another hour to get it back on. But when it was off it was so worth it!!!!! Her and I are supose to go to the Rockies game tonight, but if it is going to rain we probably won't go.

I am in training all week this week and next week so you won't hear from me much.

Glad you are all making progress with the move. It will get easier with time.

They bought more food for the party this time. One of the family complained that they ran out of food last time. It was an interesting party. Everyone was in rare form.

Just finished all the prep work for dinner. I also have laundry going.

Another cold and windy day, but no precip. At least we aren't in New England with the Noreaster. The only problem with those though is they tend to back up to us. It might acutally make it to 50 tomorrow. I am not holding my breath!

Now I need to start thinking about what I need to do to get ready for vacation next week. It feels good saying that!

:thumbsup2 :woohoo: What a cool statement. Wish I could say the same!:sad2:

Nothing new my way. Heidi, it is suppose to be a pretty good rain this afternoon. Actually, I think the rain is to pick up more at night. Gosh, I hope you guys can go to the Rockies!

Good Morning!

I have been really busy since I got to work this morning. I have so many details to take care of before we leave. I won't have any time after we get
back before the Mother Daughter tea so I am trying to take care of it all today.

Sandy- Isn't if funny how you were bracing for snow one day and mowing the yard the next! Once you start traveling back and forth to see Stacey the miles will not seem like such a big deal. Just think there are a lot of people that drive that everyday to work.

Denine- I am really looking forward to meeting you guys at Alfredo's!

Ethan's 2nd birthday party is Saturday afternoon then we leave Saturday night for Denver. YIPEEEE!!!! Friday I will spend the day shopping and doing last minute errands. Busy busy busy week!

Yesterday I noticed Bob had tried calling me several times while I was at church (he was working). I called him back and he said he just needed to hear my voice. His boss's wife was in a really bad car accident. They had to cut off the top of her car and pull off the side. Flight for life had to take her to the hospital. It really shook Bob up he was worried about me. I thought it was very sweet of him. The guy that hit her ran a red light. After lots of testing they didn't find any broken bones! She has a really bad cut on the back of her head and a fractured hip. I am going to take them dinner Thursday and Friday night. I am going to make lasagna on Thursday but not sure about Friday. Any ideas??

WHAT IS THE DEAL?????

As you see I am the only poster today and for a change my posts are very spaced out!

Barb, Barb, Barb, I am here. I posted earlier today. Oh and I just looked back. So did Denine and Heidi. We are here for you!!

I just ran out and did some errands. Found some jammies for Tyler for the cruise. Found some things for an activity for the kids at the campground.

Barb, what a sweetie Bob is. I feel so bad for his bosses wife. It is so nice of you to cook for them. Being you have a pasta meal, do you have any yummy rice recipes? I make a casserole out of rice, celery, chicken, pork sausage and almonds that I like to take places. It makes tons and is easy and fast. I have even given out a meatloaf meal completed with potatoes for baking. They just have to do the baking. It is so hard to believe that Ethan is two! Where are you staying here in Denver before you leave? And, you made me think even more. You are so correct....people do drive that distance and even more to work daily. All I have to deal with emotionally is realizing that there isn't any more impromptu or last minute visits. Once I deal with that, maybe, just maybe I will be ok.
