Well Sandy is relaxing in the Cancun sun, and everyone else is sick, or busy, so here I am.

We had a nice time at the Big Guy's birthday party, but we had to leave when they were cutting the cake to get to our other friends house.

They are all hanging in, but busy spending a lot of time with Garry's dad. His dad is now paralyzed from the chest down because of a tumor pressing on his spinal cord. They said it will only go higher. Didn't get to ask about Julie's back or Garry's foot.

We are doing nothing today and the week starts all over agin tomorrow. Another day, another day of freezing cold temps.

Hang in there Denine, I know how bad the cold weather can get to a person!! I hate it. Glad Kaleigh is feeling better. Thank you for updating us on Gary's dad and the Lauter family. We really appreciate it.

Heidi- would love to go to Monkey Bizness if we are feeling better. It is definitely a good thing you didn't come over on Friday.

We are starting to get better. It is a nasty head cold with your sinuses killing you. Tyler is doing better- he is finally sleeping through the night again. Joey is still under the weather but getting better- her cough keeps her up during the night. I don't know how but she did not take one nap yesterday-and she was actually in a really good mood for being sick!! I'm getting better myself- just really light headed now and shaky. Richard is just starting it today so at least we should all be getting it over soon.

Had a Pampered Chef party yesterday and it went really well. There was a total of 9 ladies and it was a blast. I even most likely got two more bookings out of it hopefully!!

I was just joking about talking Heidi out of having my kids out of the wedding. I know I am going to be a wreck when I see them walking down the aisle all dressed up!!

Denine- I understand about you and the cold weather. I am still ecstatic that it has been 40's here for the past week!! The warm weather is coming!!! Thanks for all the updates!!!

I was just joking about talking Heidi out of having my kids out of the wedding. I know I am going to be a wreck when I see them walking down the aisle all dressed up!!

Good Morning!

BLAH! Monday. I have been so careful with my knee not over doing it I am afraid I am getting lazy. I usually keep so busy and every spare minute I am coming up with more stuff to keep me busy. I have to get it together soon!
Thinking back I can't believe how challenging this past year has been for me. I really need to get myself in a "Forward" thinking mood.

Talked to Jaymee yesterday. She hates basic but says she is getting really strong. She can do 67 push ups now. I kept telling her only 2 more weeks and she is out of there. She says she has not been able to brush out her hair since she has been there. She has long blond hair and has to keep in up unless she is in the shower. She said they will not let her wash their faces or brush their teeth in the morning so she feels gross all the time. She asked me if I could bring her lip gloss when I come down. I think I will make her a goodie bag of girlie things. Things should be much better while she is in tech school.

Have an appointment with a surgeon today. I just want to find out what my limitations are with my knee so I can start living a normal life again. I will push my knee hard once I find out it won't do permanate damage. Right now I sit a lot with my leg up and a heating pad on it.

So true, but I already have a plan for that. My plan is that Rich will either walk down with them or be at the bottom coaxing them to walk down!!! They may run, bu tit would be hilarious!!!

Barb - that is so nasty that they won't let them brush their hair or teeth. I can't believe these tactics...they are so crazy to me. Jaymee has such pretty long hair and I am sure she will need major spray leave in conditioner to get the knots out.

I am here. It is snowing. Supposed to get more snow the next couple of days. Today is our heat wave, 28 degrees, then we go back down. The cold is really getting to everyone in the area.

I can't seem to get this dizziness thing to go away. I am OK as long as I take sinus meds, otherwise, I am dizzy. This has gone on for 2 weeks, but I don't want to get out to go to the doctor.

I just ordered Kaleigh's school music program to be started after Pre-school is done.

Denine - Dizzy?? That's not good. I think you should go to the doctor even though you don't want to get out. For it to last 2 weeks is weird....you need to take care of yourself too!!!

Denine- I agree with Heidi, you should at least call the doctor. Feeling dizzy is the pits. It makes me nauseous.

Stacey- We did the coaxing thing with Ethan too & Missy had to walk him down the isle and MAN WAS HE THE CUTIEST BABY EVER!! (Ooops Nana moment there ) It did work. Once he got there he didn't want to leave.

I had to find my log on AGAIN. I didn't think I was away THAT long!

HEIDI: I loved all the dresses. You are going to make a beautiful bride. I did love the way the one laced up in the back.

I was among the sick crowd over the weekend. I started sneezing Friday morning which changed into a runny nose, cough, etc. by later Friday afternoon. I kept taking medicine & by Saturday felt well enough to babysit. Everytime I blew my nose (which was about 100 times), I used Purell because I did NOT want to get the baby sick.

I want to stay at the DISNEYLAND HOTEL at least once in my lifetime, so when I go to California the end of June to visit my daughter, I want to stay there but it certainly is NOT cheap. It is probably going to cost me more for two nights at that Hotel then a week at All Star Movies
Also planning the whole family to Nags Head, North Carolina, for a week in September (after the rates go down). This should be an interesting trip with the new baby, three dogs, son, daughter-in-law, other son, girlfriend, cousin's son, maybe cousin, etc. etc. and eight hours in the car

I had a mandatory flex today (I wish it was tomorrow since it is going to snow) so I got myself a manicure after I cleaned my room and made dinner.

Heidi-I love dress number 4! It is so pretty and looks great on you. I love the lace up back.

I am trying to type with a cat going through withdraws. Both of my cats are going through withdraws right now missing the girls. One is Jaymee's and the other is Tiffany's. Every time I am on the computer they are all over me.

Just got back from the doctor and am very happy. I have to go for a MRI to confirm what they think is wrong with my knee really is, but I feel sure they are right. I have a torn meniscus. I was so sure I had torn something because that is what it felt like but the NP at work said no. After I saw the doctor I went to a physical threrispt and they showd me some exercises I can do. I can't do the tread mill anymore but can do the bike. I am happy to have some of my life back! I still have alot of swelling but I stayed off my knee most of the weekend so I have some mobility back. Looks like I will need surgery but I will cross that bridge when I have more information like knowing for sure the tanning bed idea is a NO-GO
