Susan I am doing good.....will be better after the yard sale....don't like doing them. How are you doing besides being busy as usual.....

It is going to be boring after Jase leaves but I can't stand him....Cowboy gets on my nerves too...why do I watch these silly things. I make the mistake of reading the live feed and these are a bunch of very disgusting people....the things they talk about you know they would never say in front of their mothers and the language is just awful....I think they must be bored out of their minds.

I like Trading Spouses but my favorite is Extreme Homes with Ty...be glad when they start their new season.

Good Morning!

Another day. Boy did we get hammered with hail last night. I stood at my window and watched my little flowers taking a beating. Looks like another storm is on the way today. I sure appreciate the rain but wish the hail would stop.

Julie-Thank you for sharing your story with us. Thank goodness she WILL outgrow it. I will be praying for our little Brooke.

Julie: WHy didn't you tell me when you were over here last week? Thank goodness Brooke should be OK. I had tears in my eyes reading. How scary! She looks perfectly healthy, so I saw no signs of heart problems. Hugs to all of you!

Barb: The wedding dress is beautiful! I wish we could be there. I'd love to see what a chocolate fountain looks like! We fly Continental. They do have the restriction of 50 pounds per bag. We pack a lot of stuff and the bags feel soo heavy and they end up weighing 25-35 pounds. You are allowed 2 carryon's a piece, or is it 1 plus a personal item such as a purse?

Sally: I hope the sale goes fine. I just give everything away. I don't have patience to do sales.


We had the house appraiser here this morning for the buyers to get their loan. Hopefully we will have a sold sign soon!

I got hold of my TA yesterday and of course talked for about 45 minutes, like always. She is going to pay the cruise off on the 15th when it is due just in case there are any price adjustments at the last minute.

Nothing else going on.

Denine,I usually give the stuff away but I have an antique sewing machine that I want to sell and I have a whole craftroom full of supplies that have to go...what is left will go to the Arc.....

Gosh you will be moved in your new home before you know it...it wasn't that long ago you were talking about finding a house...I know it must seem like a long time to you but it will be over before you know it....

Barb, I am sooo tired of the hail too. Rain is ok but hail??? We got more last night but not enough to do any damage. I heard that you could get more hail again today along with my area of Littleton and Englewood. I am wondering how Monument is doing as we plan to camp this weekend. Did you see the pictures on the news with the golf ball size hail? Unbelievable.

Sally, so Cowboy isn't all that we are seeing on the TV? He seems quiet and quite mannerable. I think topics of conversation in todays world is a lot different than when we were young. They definitely talk about anything!! Good luck on your garage sale. I do both. Just depends what I have if I donate or not or if someone wants me to go in on one with them.

Susan, I was trying to think if anything more important happened on Big Brother but I don't think so. Jase did figure it out though.

Denine, I guess the cruise is a done deal for you now that it is paid. I have to pay in a couple of weeks then the countdown begins.

Once again Julie. Sorry for everything that you have been going through. Please, if you need anything just let us know. We ARE family as you know.

Julie: Your post brought me to tears and reminded me how much you all mean to me. Have that drink on me...

I have just been plain busy, and like others, didn't really have time to read all of the posts, so just didn't do anything. I know, not an excuse, but I sure do appreciate all of you sending e-mails, etc.


We never heard back about the panama canal cruises.

Will be in St. Thomas from Oct. 7-18 if anyone is around then.

Please don't hate or disown me for not posting, I really do think of you all often.

JULIE & GARRY: I was on the edge of my seat reading about Brooke. What these kids put us through! I will keep Brooke in my prayers.

BARB: I absolutely love Missy's wedding dress along with the cape & muff. My cousin had a wedding in December & her gown was trimmed with fur & she had only two bridesmaids - one wore green & one wore red & they carried muffs.

Had a very RESTFUL vacation. The weather was beautiful. Sun was out every day. I went to the beach every day except for the day we went to Busch Gardens but now I have to pay with four 12 hour work days in a row!

SANDY: I am getting very excited but still need to lose lots of weight (forgot to add did nothing but EAT on my vacation).

The place we stayed in Virginia Beach had the "Internet" but, of course, it was down during our stay. Miss you all & can wait to see some of you soon. Toodles JEANNE

Krista, SHAME on you!!! We would never disown one of our family. We still love you and missed you. Glad that you found the time to check in. Sorry you didn't hear about the Panama Canal cruise. Lori is thinking about going to St. Thomas or was it St. John?? Maybe you two can hook up.

Jeanne, glad that you had such a wonderful trip. Your work schedule sucks though. I have now committed myself to LA Weight Loss Center. I AM GOING TO LOSE ALL MY WEIGHT BY THE PANAMA CANAL CRUISE. That is my goal and I will work darn hard to get there. I just signed on the dotted line this afternoon. Faith lost 35 pounds so far and that has inspired me. I can and will do it. I am really psyched about it. I like the center because you eat sensible. Not the low carb craze. Plus, you eat your own food not prepackaged yuck. I start tomorrow with the program. Wish me luck! I know that you can do it too.

Hey all! It is 3AM and I can't sleep. I have a headache which has upset my tummy. So, here I am.

Krista: You have to start posting. Glad to have you back!

Sandy: I hope your gutters got fixed!

Jeanne: Sounds like a nice, relaxing trip. I don't know how you do 4 12's in a row. I was always worn out after 2.

Sally: Actually, the house has gone quite fast. We spent so much time trying to get this one sold, that the new one went up under our noses.

We went up to the new house and we have kitchen cabinets!!! We also have bathroom vanities and some doors. The fireplace is in and the dishwasher and stove are in boxes in the garage. We have a tentative walk-through date of Aug. 30th. I hope we get the keys that day.

I'm back from Chicago...the bathroom wasn't finished until 3PM ysterday and I left prior to that so no pictures yet...What was finished looked beautiful though I should rent my self out to single men who need their bathrooms rehabed. The workers spoke nothing but Polish..so I learned some Polish while there. I had to laugh...any questions they had they told Glenn to "go get woman."

I only read a few posts...Julie you should have said something! Glad to hear that the holes are small and Brooke doesn't need surgery.

Krista...I wonder if Julie and Denine will be in St. Thomas with the cruise the same time you all are there. You may just miss each other though

Jeanne- Welcome back.

Went on line last night and bought Cinderella invitaions, Champagn flutes, cake cutters and a ring bearer pillow. the wedding did not start out to be Disney themed but it is headed that direction. I just can't seem to get away from Disney! Guess I don't really try. The DJ is going to play " A wish is a dream your heart makes" when they enter the reception. Cute cute cute! While we are in Disney in Oct we are going to try and find a cake top and the unity candle.

Glad you are feeling better Denine. There is something going around here. Missy is sick right now. Kind of a bad cold with flu mixed in.

Hi Barb, here is the link for L A Weight Loss. I have been seeing the adds on TV for it and for Slim4Life which is a CO company. I checked them both out and decided on L A Weight Loss.L A Weight Loss Staceys wedding was a "subtle" Disney theme. She had Mickey and Minnie cake topper plus cake cutter, too. They didn't do the unity candle.

Denine, glad that you are doing better. I know what you mean when you have to wash their favorite whatever. Stacey and Heidi were attached to a stuffed bear. The funny thing is that they chose the same bears to attach to. Twin thing?

My day is not good. Graci is driving me NUTS.

On my diet for the next two days I will eat unlimited amounts of meat and green veggies plus a special drink 4 times a day. I start the "real" diet on Saturday. Both companies do this exact thing. Something about metabolism. Carbs will be reintroduced on Sat.

Good-bye JASE!! I was so happy with the Big Brother eviction tonight! The real game has now started. I think everyone is pretty much on equal footing, even Cowboy! Now the evictees become members of the jury. I do not envy Adria being HoH this week. Whatever she does could make her a marked woman!

GO GET WOMAN!! I love it!! Bonnie, we sure did miss you but we knew you were on a mission.. I am glad the bathroom is done! We do want to see the pictures. So, go get...woman!

Good luck on the LA Weight Loss program, Sandy. I didn't weigh in this week with Weight Watchers. I think I maintained. I have to do better this week.

We have Open House at Turner's school tomorrow morning. He'll find out who his teacher is and Monday is the start of the new year. I hope this is a better homework year.

I still have so much to do to get ready for this baby shower on Saturday. I may not get a chance to post tomorrow but I'll get back over the weekend sometime!

Hi everyone! Just stopping in to say hi! Nothing new going on around here. Just watching to see where Charley is going to hit. My grandmother lives in Venice Fl (alittle south of Sarasota) and I'm just concerned for her. I know yesterday she was told she would have to leave her "manufactured home" (two trailers put together) so she went to a friend's home. But last I heard her entire area was under mandatory evacuation, so I'm not sure where she is right now. So I'm sending her some Pixie Dust!

Bonnie, GO GET WOMAN!!! I love it! Why doesn't that surprise me? LOL!!! Hey, you can come over here and supervise our bathroom redo!!!! We have been saying for 2 years about redoing our bathroom, but we always seem to do something else instead. By the way, what is up with your governer Bonnie?LOL! I give his wife a lot of credit, I don't know if I could stand next to him announcing something like that.

Susan, I hope you don't get hit too bad with all the rain coming your way. Please keep us posted on that! Boy between Bonnie and Charley, you are going it get hit with alot of rain it looks like. Be safe !!!

Sandy, thank goodness that you guys aren't going on your western cruise this weekend! So how do your gutters look?

Susan, wasn't Big Brother great?? I was sooo happy. I agree. Adria has a tough week ahead. I feel for her already having to choose 2 people tonight. Cowboy seems very frightened. With what Sally says about him, I don't think we know the true Cowboy. Thanks for the good luck on the diet. With school and the shower you will be a busy person the next couple of days.

Off and running to L A Weight Loss. I get my true program today. It has to include some carbs as I just can't eat meat and veggies. That's what is nice about this program. They structure it around your needs and wants. They asked me if I knew I was going to be stranded on an island for 3 months what 3 food items would I want to take along. I said, diet coke, milk and watermelon. After talkig to Heidi, she said popcorn. Hmmmm, did I blow it? What 3 items would all of you consider?
