Good morning, I didn't end up going to the concert and I went to my sister's. I woke up at 4:30 this morning so that I could make it in to work by 6:00...I am a little tired right now but I made it to work on time. Thank god for green tea because I will be drinking that all day to keep me awake!! I enjoyed spending last night with my sister and my n&n, they cheered me up.

Glad you had Stacey there for you Heidi. I'm sorry about what happened. I would have been upset too. I bet he will be kissing up for a while.

I am trying to finish Tiffany's afghan before Monday. I am almost half done putting it together.

I am not having much luck finding cheap airline tickets. I have been looking for months. I am having to pay about $50 more a ticket then I have ever paid before. BLAH!

Barb - tell me what dates and I can try to help you find tickets. There are so many airfare search engines out there and maybe you haven't tried yet!!! What price are you getting now?

Heidi- I am looking at leaving either the 25 or 26 of December. Tickets are a little less expensive on the 25th but if I leave on the 25th it would have to be late. I found a flight that leaves at 7:00 and gets into Orlando at 12:32 which would not be that bad I guess. I just don't want to leave early if I am leaving on Christmas. Coming back on probably the 3rd of January. I orginally wanted to come home on the 4th but the cheapest tickets I have found are the 25th to the 3rd they are running around $280

Sounds like it will be in the upper 90's without a chance of rain for 10 days. YUCK! Gimme back the rain, just not the humidity.

It is raining and thundering again today and will be most of the day. So, no Cuyahoga Fair for us this year. We may try to go to the Lorain Fair instead. We always go to the Geauga Fair for Labor Day weekend. The Corn Festival is this weekend and my parents are coming over Saturday for my dad's birthday.

I work tomorrow and I have to make a pecan pie before my parents come on Saturday.

I am tired and don't feel like doing anything today. My bumper crop of tomatoes is coming in and I have a meal planned with cherry tomatoes, but I don't feel like cooking. We worked in the yard all yesterday evening.

I went to my stupid meeting yesterday. 1 hour round trip for a 15 minute meeting on bed sores which I already know about. These things are designed for everyone so even someone from dietary was there. These things are soooo dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heidi: I hope Chris isn't always this inconsiderate. It will be rough going if he is. Glad you had a nice time with Stacey.

Barb: Airfare right now is nuts. We keep looking for December too. Hoping it comes down.

I don't know when I will get back on line. I will be busy the next few days.

Just have to vent. We just go an email that states, "This is a thank you to everyone working on the Accountability Audit. Everyone has done their part, so a little treat for the group. Come enjoy some pizza - bring your own drink as usual."

Okay how is EVERYONE doing their part? Is anyone helping me with my work that is piling up? Did anyone help me collect over 600 records the last 3 weeks and slowly put them away as they come up? Is anyone helping me carry the records between buildings and being the runner? Did anyone help me set up the focus group meeting with other 400 employees and then secure the conference room? Is anyone else working 11 hour days? The answer is NO, so how is "everyone doing their part"?

Heidi, I don't know but at this point it might be good for you to vent to your superior. They know that you are the "good guy" that doesn't say anything. Maybe this time you should. It isn't fair to you and it isn't fair to you to keep it inside. By the way, I just renewed Sam's Club today.

Afghan is coming along slowly, for some reason I am having a hard time getting into it today. I made 54 blocks then put together 6 strips of 9 blocks I am crocheting around each strip 2 times then putting together the strips then I will crochet 2 rows around the entire thing. I have 4 rows put together and 2 left. I need to get these done!

Heidi-Take a deep breath. I know you are feeling unappreciated right now. You are probably pretty sensitive because you were hurt yesterday. Most Men do not think with their hearts like women. Things you would NEVER think of doing to Chris makes sense to him. Hopefully he will learn from being around you what does and does not hurt. Men really do have to be shaped gently and slowly. Hang in there sweetie. This too will pass.

Good morning. What a crazy morning I have had. At 6:00am an investigator came to talk with me for my security clearance and had to interview me. He was concerned with all the cruises I have been on and ports of call. I had to explain everything in detail what I did at the ports. Then I started the audit to find out I had been locked out of my building because there was a chemical spill up the street and everything went on lockdown, all the buildings and gates were shut down and no one could come in or go out. I looked down the street and saw tons of flashing lights so it is pretty close to our buildings, finally the guard took pitty on me and let me back in the building. So now my audit team is stuck at the building across the street, and I have to stay here so I don't get locked out again!!!!! What a morning!

Good weekend at the campground. It was Halloween. The had a fantastic haunted house, hayride and trick or treating. It was fun watching our grandkids go trick or treating for the first time. It was amazing how many campers actually participated handing out candy!
