It poured rain all night and is now snowing. We are supposed to get 1-3" on top of the 105.5" we have already had. This SUCKS!

Jerry doesn't feel like painting today, maybe tomorrow. I hope at least to get Kaleigh's towel bars up.

Julie: When are we getting together? We are busy the 30th, but the 29th is fine or most any other day, but this Monday.

Sorry Denine, guess we didn't have enough takers for the wine chat.

Susan, have fun with the baby. I think it will be a fun age for you. You can get your baby fix that way.

BONNIE: I need advice. Where are you?? We are ATTEMPTING to iron on a transfer and need your advice. The print is already reversed. Just need ironing help. It says NOT to do it on an ironing board. Something like a table. Uh, I won't do that. What do you use? Any other hints? Heidi was able to size the Survivor logo. Thanks!!

That's me!

Susan the trip sounds wonderful!

I'm eady for WDW or cruise or something!

Yesterday was a long one...drove into the city parked at the hotel where it adoption gala...walked to the "offsite" sup's meeting...fell in the middle of the street, spilled coffee all over my pants, pigged out since they served breakfast and lunch to us...how do you resist stuff from The Corner Bakery?

Walked back to the hotel, got dressed up, Ate some more, won 2 of my auction bids...a signed print of one of "The Family Circle" and a $100 gift certificate for haircut and color at Bernard's...got it for $60. Ate a little more. During the live auction made a fool of myself with a whistle and flashlight, shining it at the bidders. Home at 11PM, up at 3AM, throwing up and runs, asleep by 5am, up at 6:30AM, massage at 10AM, on to haircut (at my cheap place) at noon, had time to spend a small fortune on my favorite perfumes though, refill for Angel (ouch) and Prada...good deal on that one.
home by 2:30...crash!!!!

Sandy-I put a towel on the table and iron it on that. If you have a really good ironing board that is nice and solid (like the old ones) you should do ok with that. Put a towel down on that first also.

Wine chat? I would do it. If only Heidi, Sandy and me we could call cell phone to cell phone, drink and be merry!

Bonnie: Good Grief! Hope you are feeling better.

Haven't gotten anything done today. Just keep looking at the very depressing weather. Jerry did clean the bathrooms.

Sandy: Jerry and I did have a 7&7 without everyone else.

I made this very yummy WW pizza for dinner. It was probably more than the 4 points per slice because I used pizza dough I had in the freezer. It made a thicker crust than the recipe would have made, I believe. It was so good though. Lots of fresh, ripe tomatoes.

Now I am trying to find a tree for the side of the house. We went to a nursey the other night, but I forgot to take my papers with me, so I couldn't remember some of the trees.

Bonnie, what a day for you! Good thing Heidi wasn't with you at the auction. She would have loved to make a fool out of herself with you! I guess we will try the ironing board because we have an oak table and it scares me to even think about putting heat to it. We do have a pad on it. Hmmmm. Don't worry, I pigged out somewhat yesterday too at the Kolache Factory plus had popcorn last night on top of all the starch at the kolache factory. There is always tomorrow, right?

Denine, your pizza sounded so yummy! I like the way you experiment.

It's not a "YUCKY WEEKEND". It is a "FUN" :cool1: weekend. I met with my old friend from Grade School & High School & some of her friends last night (Friday) & today my friend (for 20 plus years) got married :bride:. After the wedding my son & I picked up "the boys" since we haven't seen them for awhile.

I am 48% Yankee - sounds about right!

BONNIE: Hate to tell you - but you didn't win the lottery. One winner in Michigan.

SANDY: Way to go girl :cheer2:. This week I was bad. Out to eat (and drink) :drinking1 the past three nights!

It was supposed to rain today :umbrella: but it turned out to be an okay day. Miss you all :grouphug: Hope you have a great rest of the weekend. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Did anyone see Good Morning America this morning? A new Broadway musical Brooklyn the Musical!! What a song!!! It is a must see, plan on trying to get same day tickets one weekend in May. To download the song "Once Upon a Time" Go to this siteBrooklyn the Musical
What a great song!! This is the page with the free download mp3 Once Upon A time

Going to see mom today. I bought her a tropical looking jacket for her cruise. It was all of 7.95 in a thrift shop in the city. If she doesn't like it I will wear it on our cruise. Great for cruising.

Hi Bonnie, we tried listening to the music but it said too many people were trying to access it. Will try later.

Guess I will go take the quiz again.

Sue: If you ever complain about your winter again, I am going to shoot you! ;)

It is snowing and blowing and just plain miserable outside. We have had a few inches and it is supposed to snow all day and tonight and the morning. Then it is going to rain the rest of the week. I can't take it anymore. I am a real crab today.

I just want to hibernate and do nothing.

Jeanne: Sounds like you had a good time.

Well Denine, we aren't having any better weather than you. It is really raining and may turn into snow over night. It is to be in the 50's the rest of the week and rainy too. Just remember.......April showers bring May flowers.

Hi everyone! Denine is right about the snow here. It is really weird! The roads are clear, but the driveways and yards are full of snow. We have about 4 to 6 inches already. I think our year total is 112 inches so far. I wouldn't mind the snow now IF we didn't have the nice 80 degree weather last week. This snow has given me a nice headache!

We had my niece's birthday party today. Nothing like having a "spring party" and it's snowing out!

Hang in there Denine! The weather is suppose to get better even though it's rain for this week, It won't be snow!

Bonnie, I heard the song and it's incredible! You were right.

Well, gotta go, I'll be back later!

AND.... for tomorrow......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DENINE!!! :bday: :cake:

Hope you have a great day despite the weather!!

Well, we now have 15 inches of snow now and it is still snowing!! This is crazy!!!! Some catholic elementary schools are closed already for tomorrow. IF it keeps up like this, I don't think that Makenzie will have school either. THe side streets are horrible! I just ran out to the grocery store and the main roads are not as bad as the side streets, but still not good. It should be interesting tomorrow!

Thanks Sandy and Heidi for the snow! NOT! LOL!!!

First of all - Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to DENINE. Happy Birthday to you. :bday: :cake: Consider the snow as frosting on a very LARGE birthday cake!

JULIE: Always great to see you post! Hope the kids DO have school today for your sake. :cold: :cold: :cold:

Just a little chilly here but I'm not complaining. I am REALLY ready for a vacation. Can't wait!

Hope you all have a great week. Back to work tomorrow. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Julie - Glad to hear we passed on the snow to you guys out there, I am getting tired of the snow!!!! Wow, you did get a lot of snow....does Mackenzie have school?

Bonnie - We could have had so much fun together at the auction, I would have joined right in with you and looked like a complete fool....I love doing stuff like that (it's even more fun when I can embarass my sister and mom just by acting like a fool!!!)

Susan - How was babysitting?

Denine - Hang in there and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :Pinkbounc  :bday: :cake:

Well, the snow total for the year so far is 116.5". We totally smashed the recent record of 101.1". We have about 5" on the ground, but most of it melted as it came down. I took Kaleigh out to play in it this morning and it was cold and windy. All the schools are closed becuase a lot of cities took the plows off their trucks for spring chores. The sun is out now.

The last time it snowed on my birthday was at least 40 years ago.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. We are going out to the Macaronni Grill for dinner.

Jeanne: The eternal optimist!

Made vet appointments for my two. I think Jazz has a tapeworm, just needs a shot of droncit and Hera has a blocked tear duct from those eye infections. Her eye is always stuck shut and crusty, but no infection.

I am going to take a nap today and take it easy. I took a nice hot bath in my jacuzzi tub last night. I have now used it twice.

Denine - Jacuzzi tub, wow you are uptown....I'm jealous!!! It's your day so you get to do whatever you like!!! Enjoy your birthday. I am not a Macaroni Grill fan, I haven't been there in a long time so maybe they changed it. Enjoy!!!

:umbrella: Rain, rain go away.......

Snow out your way and rain and more rain out here. The country is getting drenched! Be careful driving in that stuff especially since they took off the plows! It sounds exactly like what we had a couple of weeks ago. Great main roads but horrible side streets.

:flower: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DENINE!

Denine - how was dinner? Did you enjoy your birthday?

A big THANK YOUto my WONDERFUL MOM for all the help she gave me last night doing the stupid baby shower favors!!!!!
