INstead of buying Mega Million last night I got PowerBall for tonight. I don't think it is a really big one but who needs all that money? I just want enough for ALL of us to go on the cruise! Of course you all have to share the room with mom!! Or better yet...bring Jeanne's mom and aunt along, stick them all in the same room together, bring Pam along and she can take care of them all!! I am SOOOOO bad!!!

Anyone hear from Krista or Lori? It appears as though we lost them also.

Heidi - I know you must be so excited about your townhome. Thanks for sending me the pictures. I love your fireplace!

Bonnie - hope you win the Powerball. I would love to go on the cruise with you guys.

I don't remember if I told you all that we are planning to go to Germany this summer. We are working out the details and Turner is getting so excited. As we make more definite plans, I'll let you all know.

I haven't been doing a good job with my weight watchers. In fact, the scale has been moving in the wrong direction. Gotta make that change!

Have a great evening.
Later!

Good morning.

How abut a few quotes. I know it has been awhile. I won't even tell you what the date is on the page showing on the calendar. We'll get caught up eventually.

Beware of the superficially profound.

Reality is what refuses to go away when you stop believing in it.

When you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Everything should be made as simple as possible but not simpler.

Only the shallow know themselves.

Have a great day, everyone.
Later!

Good morning.

Bonnie, you ARE bad but :rotfl2: funny!! I heard from Lori over Easter but not in detail. Really don't know anything new.

Susan, I remembered you were going to Germany. I can't wait to hear all the details. Can you start with how long will you be over there? Good one: Reality is what refuses to go away when you stop believing in it.

Nothing new here. Sorry to see Anwar go on AI. Good TV tonight. Survivor and Apprentice.

Mom - how did you post before me? I have been trying to post for the last 30 minutes and it said that the website was down.....but you were posting, so how could it be down? I guess it doesn't like me!!!!

Bonnie you are too funny.

Okay you guys have to take this Quiz, I can't wait to see everyone's results.
Southern Quiz

Mom - some of these things really made me think about you!!!!!

Heidi, my score will surprise you. I think I have been away from SD for too long. I was 53% DIXIE. What was yours? I know why you thought of me: bag (beg), y'all. Some of the things I use to say have changed since I moved here so I kept with what I say NOW.

I was 50% Yankee, bu there was one that I couldn't remember what I called it. It might have changed if I said drinking fountain instead of water fountain.
Interesting condsidering I have lived in NE Ohio my whole life.

Sandy: COngrats on the weight loss!

Bonnie: Interesting idea!

Sue: A trip to Germany, how fun!

It has turned colder and Jerry said the weather channel is calling for the s word on Sunday and maybe Monday. I don't remeber it EVER snowing on my birthday. I really hope it doesn't! I guess we will be back to inside work, like painting and putting up towel bars.

I work tomorrow and every forseeable Friday.

Nothing else going on around here.

Oh, oh Denine. I hope that s word doesnt' bring you 20" like it did to us last week. Good luck!

We had a storm last night and with it brought hail 3 different times. I can't afford any more hail damage/deductibles. I am going on a trip!! It didn't do any damage but sure scares me now since I read that we are the hail capital of the US. That is certainly not what I need to hear!

Heidi and I made another Nemo blanket last night. The first one was blue and this one is pink. They turned out great.

Mom - I was 63% Dixie.

Susan - Germany, how exciting....keep us updated on the plans.

Denine - NO more snow!!! I am ready for the nice warm sunny weather!!!

94% (Dixie). Is General Lee your father?

Suprised? I'm not! GRITS!!! (Girls Raised In The South!!!)

I'll have to give you more details about our trip this weekend when I can get the book out to spell the words correctly!! It will be a whirlwind of about 16 days and it will be packed full.

Our nice low 80s are supposed to go away after today. We won't get the S word but we will get 20 degress cooler.!

Here's a great quote:

To estimate the time it takes to do a task, estimate the time you think it should take, multiply by two, and change the unit of measure to the next highest unit. Thus we allocate two days for a one-hour task!

I thought that was so funny except for project estimateion at work it often seems to be that they go to the next lowest unit of measure!!

Have a great evening with FUN TV night!

Later!

Hi y'all! I'm 49% Yankee! I say drinking fountain and y'all all the time. I was surprised to see my only at 49% Yankee, but that's ok.

Susan, can I go??? Boy everyone is going on a great trip but us!!! We are going to Disney, but that's all. No trip to Germany, Ireland, or 2 week crusies. I promise Susan, I won't take up too much room.

Sandy, I want to see a picture of the Nemo blankets!!! You are so creative!!!

Barb, I know she was going on her visit soon, but did she go yet? She didn't say good bye. I hope Missy doesn't have her baby when she is gone!!

Bonnie, you're a wild woman!!! Lottery and pj's..... you go girl!! Did you win? I really want to go with you guys!!! So please win!!!!1

Heidi, so how is the furniture hunting going? I know you said that you were looking for some new stuff. Do you have a count down to when you get the keys? I'm so excited for you!!!!

Jeanne, is this one of your "yucky work weekends"? I hope it is better then the last one. Tell Joyce I hope she has a great trip!!!

Denine, hopefully we won't get any of that white stuff (at least nothing that will stick). So, is there anyway I can talk you and Jerry into coming down for a few days in June??? Since Kaleigh isn't 3 yet, she can go as a lap child and then you would only have to pay for 2 adults. You would get free transport from the airport to disney hotel property. Makenzie would love to see you guys!!!!! (of course so would the rest of us too).

Well, gonna go for awhile! Have a great evening!!

Susan, that is some trip! Sixteen days sounds heavenly. Take pictures to share with all of us!!

Julie, I wish I could meet up with you guys in June. It would be wonderful to actually vacation with you guys again....not just meet up in a parking lot! Heidi closes April 29th at 2:30pm. I am so excited. That will be her painting weekend, not moving in weekend and I have her permission NOT to paint. Yahoo! I get to clean. Believe me, cleaning is something I would rather do. I hate to paint. BORING!! I figure I can be the cook, too. By the way, I HAD to buy your DCL tshirt that you had on after the cruise. I bought an XL and now I swim in it. Anyway, I always think of you when I see it. That gorgeous tan you had going just made that tshirt stand out.

Apprentice and Survivor night. Hugs to all. Oh shoot, I was going to call Julie and with that statement I realize she is busy with reality shows right now. Maybe this weekend!!

Hey, is anyone up for a wine chat tomorrow night?

I just ordered the light fixtures for our bathroom. Now we have to change everything out, patch the holes and we can paint and put up the new stuff. We will probably be painting our bedroom this weekend since the weather is supposed to be yucky.

Julie: I sure wish we could go in June, but there really isn't any way. Besides, you will have a great time with 2 weeks in Disney. That is no vacation to slouch at. For some, that is their once in a lifetime vacation!

Sandy: You definitely need to show us pictures of the blankets!

Sue: WOW! 16 days in Germany! I would love to go to Europe some day.

Wow, Susan is a serious Southern girl!!!!!

I think Barb is in Oregon right now, hopefully Missy is doing okay because the last we knew she was pretty close. I hope Barb is having fun in Oregon with her Bon Fire!!! Julie's right, she didn't say goodbye, I hope she keeps us updated on Missy.

Julie - I am so TIRED of looking for furniture, thats all we did last weekend and I still haven't came to a conclusion to which couch (although I think it is down to 2 couches!!!) Hopefully will make the decion tomorrow. I did find the perfect table, but have to wait and save up for that, I need a couch worse.

Next Friday I have to close at 2:30 in the worst place possible for Rush Hour traffic. I am NOT looking forward to that. It will take me 20 minutes to get out there and an hour and a half to get back. YUCK.

Susan - 16 days in Germany.....that sounds like so much fun. Are you staying in Germany or are you going to any other countries. I'm jealous.....I can be up for adoption if you want to adopt me, or I have been in the childcare business for 6 years and can be a nanny (ya right, don't tell Turner that.)

I just noticed that Julie is going to WDW for 2 weeks, same to you......I am up for adoption and am really great with kids!!!! ;)

Mom - Lunch, 11:45 don't forget~~~~(watch now that I said that, I am going to forget!!!)

I think I should hire Denine as my Interior decorator (I missed that gene and am not all that creative) All I know is that my main floor bathroom is a lighthouse theme, and my master bath is going to be a tropical palm tree theme.

Heidi, you can come with us!!! We have a 1 bedroom at Boardwalk for our trip. We belong to the DVC and that is why we can go for 2 weeks. Three of us have annual passes still good, so we only have to get Makenzie's and Anna Marie's when we do go. I'll be glad to have a full kitchen so we can do breakfasts, lunches and snacks. There will be some dinners too. Garry joined the disney dining club (or something like that). It gives a list of restaurants within all for parks and downtown disney where you get 20% off all you meals or something like that. It sounded like was worth it. It even has the "counter service" restaurants listed too. We try to make each trip where we really don't spend any more then the average vacation. It works out pretty well. Heidi, just get a great fare and we will meet you there!!! The kids would love to have you there and so would we!!!

Garry took the Dixie test and he was I think 50% Yankee, almost a Dixie! I'm just a little more Yank then he is!

Nothing exciting going on here. It is cold a rainy and I'm on the verge of a migraine! It is right there waiting for the right moment to take over and make me feel horrible!! I've been trying to take precautionary measures, but it really isn't working.

I'll be back later today!

ME, ME, ME...I am up for a wine chat!!!!

Julie - My ex-boyfriends family was a DVC member and we stayed at the DVC in Wilderness Lodge. It was really nice to have 2 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen!!! Sounds like you guys are going to have a blast!! Unfortunately I don't think I could afford to go this year, but thanks for the offer!!!! I must be having sympathy migraine pains for you because I have one coming on too, not too bad hoping to fight it off!!!

Hi guys, had a nice lunch with Heidi and Ted. We tried out the Kolache Factory. Not a place to go to fill up but a very yummy treat place. They had all kinds of kolaches. Fruit filled, meat filled, egg filled, spinach.

Heidi, you didn't get the decorating gene because we don't have it and couldn't pass it on to you. Sorry! Maybe Denine won't be busy the next few years and can help you.

Hope you migraine ladies are doing ok.

Stopped off at American Furniture today for you Heidi. She said they still sell my brand of couch but didn't know where it was. So....I walked a little bit and gave up. I also checked the bunk beds and they are 149.00.

Honestly, can anyone be surprised about Susan being 94% Dixie? I am just surprised that it wasn't 100%!! Heidi and I were talking and I think I will retake the test and do it they way I used to talk in SD to see if it makes a difference.

I will get Heidi to take pictures of the blankets and have her email them. I don't know how to get them from the camera to the computer.

Julie: Jerry want to know again when you are going in June. He is not convinced we can't afford it. So, who knows? Hope your migraine gets better, because the weather isn't.

Heidi: That is the accomodation we had in HH; 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, livingroom and kitchen. We took stuff with us to make pancakes for breakfast and other food, like microwave popcorn since we don't own a micro. We are completely spoiled now, especially when we have to go back to a studio or even the cabin on the cruise! I love furniture shopping, but it isn't easy to make a decision. Me an interior decorator? I don't think so. Your bathrooms sound like they will be nice.

I worked this morning. It was a good morning except I forget to get my annual TB test, I brought the drug cart keys home with me and I forgot to pick up my pay check. So, I came home, ate waffles for breakfast and took Kaleigh back to work with me. I dropped off the keys, got my mantoux and found out I don't have a paycheck because I hadn't been there in 3 weeks dut to calling off and vacation. It's not so bad to forget the keys when you only live 5 minutes away, but when it is 1/2 hour it is a different story!

I could go for a wine chat! Or, at least the wine!

Good morning. We had just a little rain yesterday but not enough to get rid of all the tree pollen in the air. I hope it rains all day!! I am just miserable. My eyes and head hurt so bad yesterday I went to bed at 7:00 just to shut my eyes.

I am going to babysit today for my friend who had her baby back in October. They need some uninterrupted time to do some painting. They are finishing their basement themselves and Morgan wants too much attentin for them both to dive into the paint. So, I am going so they can stay busy and Morgan and I can watch and play!

No wine chat for me. Not going to be home this evening.

Have a great day everyone!
