Barb - I say take the chance and go on the cruise without the girls!!!! I am sure you will still have a lot of fun....you can adopt me and I will go with you!!! I wish I could be on the ship for 14 days, I am so envious!!!!

Like I told my mom, my husband BETTER like Disney because our Honeymoom is going to be back to back Eastern and Western disney cruises!!! In fact that is prerequisite!!!!

Julie: How long did they use IV fluids with your dad. Sometimes they can get carried away and it builds up in your system. It should get better.

Heidi: Congrats on your good review! We did back to back cruises, it was fun!

Bonnie: We need a wine chat just so you can fill us in on the details! I think you should put up that sign about not feeding you!

Barb: I think you should still go on the cruise. Jerry sometimes drinks a slimfast for breakfast. It is 3 points.

Sandy: You still lost and you need to give me time to catch up with you!

It snowed again last night, a couple of inches, but it is mostly melted now. I keep looking for signs of life outside and not finding any. There have been years, when bulbs start to sprout in February and nothing yet.

Jeanne: At least with your specialty, you know you won't be dealing with the same patients. When I worked the surgical floor, we had one guy in his 30's that had hip replacements on 2 occasions. He was a pain in the you know what! I haven't worked there in a long time, but you see what impression he made on me.

I am sooo tired of being all the time. I turned the heat up higher and I am still cold. I just want it to warm up! I'll even take 50's!

Jerry is going to work from home tomorrow so I won't be on until evening.

Good Morning

I decided to take the day off. I want to clean the house and shampoo carpet. Get ready for my dinner party. We will be gone most of the day tomorrow at rehearsal so I want to be prepared today.

Well I came down to check a couple of accounts and ended up cleaning and organizing my desk. At least I am making good use of my vacation time.

Heidi- Glad things went well for your review! Ok I will take you...Can you pay your own way? I love your prerequiste.

Denine- Stay warm!

Julie-Thanks for the suggestions. I think I am really going to try a way to save the envelopes because they are stamped too. It is just too much money to lose. Thanks for all your encouragement. I think Missy will be happier waiting.

Jeanne- I think I will try and your idea with the stick over the top date change.

Better get going. Tiffany is leaving today for Boulder for State finals for Mock Trial. I hope they do well. She is really excited. I am going to clean her room really good today and leave a card and either flowers or a balloons so when she come home she will have a fun surprise.

Well, let's see, it snowed again last night. We are closing in on 95" for the season and it is not over yet. UGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Today was a good day. Jerry let me sleep in and made breakfast and started the laundry. I put most of the laundry away. I got to work on some needlework I haven't picked up in 2 years!

We just got back from Michaels. I was looking for a book on how to stencil. I am going to stencil the kitchen in grapes once it is painted. I already have the stencil. Jerry found it at the hardware store and it was the last one. Couldn't find a book though. I'll have to look on Amazon.

Barb: You are such a good mom! Flowers!

Last to post last night and the first this morning.

Let's see, it snowed AGAIN last night. We got 2-3". I don't want another 100" season, but we are closing in on it.

I ordered another garden from Spring Hill. I can't wait to start planting, if it ever stops snowing that is.

We are going to a friends tonight for dinner.

I decided on a color for our bathroom. I want to buy the paint now so we will have it when we get the chance to paint.

Isn't it unbelievably s- l-o-w the last couple of days?

Heidi is at the zoo with Chris and his twin girls. Ted and I have some errands to run. This is to be our last warm day for awhile. Yesterday was like 63 or something. Nice! Today about the same and then later on this afternoon we are to get a snowstorm. Somewhere between 3-6". It could be 4-8 if they include our area in the south and west of the metro area. I think that means more IN the foothills rather than us that are up against it. It is sad cuz Lori lives so close to me and she has a fantastic view of the mtn range. But because we live right at the foothills our view is restricted by the foothills. I wish I would have thought about view when we bought the house.

I am sure concerned over Susan. Think I might give her a call.

Busy morning. Went over my Mom's around noon & my cousin was waiting for her brother to pick her up & go to Cowtown (a flea market) so I invited myself & off we went. He took us out to dinner too!

Talked with Bonnie & the THREE DISNEY DUDETTES are going to be reunited at the "Spring Fling" which is a party the hospital is planning on April 2nd.

SANDY: Hope you aren't jealous but we have our return flights from Orlando & also our bus transportation paid for.

DENINE: Jerry is so great. Give him a big kiss

Here I am again...keep showing up like a bad penny.

Denine-stenciling is VERY easy...you don't need a book. Just make sure you get most of the paint off the brush prior to dabbing it on the wall...use a paper towel or something. So easy but looks terrific.

Saw one of my CA cousins yesterday...so thin...it is very obvious when I get together with any of them that I come from a different gene pool! Not fair! She is a sweetheart though. I may get together with her prior to the cruise...our birthdays are 3 days apart.

Hope to get my hair chopped off today and then spend beaucoup bucks on a PDA...need it for work.

Major headache...related to teeth I think.

OOPS!!! Julie...I forgot. The blouting may be from the hearts ability to pump. They should do an echocardiogram. Also after being on the bypass machine they should be checking the kidney function through labs. They may be affected especially with the DM. Going to the SNF to regain his strength may be a good idea...you have to keep on top of them though to make sure he is getting the physical therapy. Some of them slack off.

Good morning all.

I was happy to see that I didn't have to talk to myself today.

Jeanne, I gave in last week and bought our tickets for our return flight home. It was an icky feeling. It was like the end of our journey.....even though we haven't even started. Strange but true feeling. Once again, we will rent a car at the port and go to Downtown Disney and the Disney outlet store outside of Downtown Disney and then head to the airport. I LOVE the outlet stores there. There are so many and it is a much "higher" class mall than what we are used to. Heidi and I went crazy.

Does any of you Panama Canal cruisers belong to AAA? Our friend does and gave us their little magazine. It has a short article about cruising through the Panama Canal that Ted and I found very interesting. If any of you are interested, I will copy it and send it to you. I have been reading a book about it periodically but not really absorbing it all. This article made me understand it better. Made me even more psyched to go.

Bonnie, glad you surfaced. A haircut sounds so nice. I like my hair shorter but I am growing it out and my bangs out so that I can pull it back for the cruise. Maybe I won't be so self conscious of it for two solid weeks. I also want to find a "hair piece" that everyone was wearing last cruise. I just can't find MY color. Dang. So does your cousin still live in CA? Is that where you plan to visit her before the cruise? That would be nice! How is your headache doing?

Got snow last night. Not much but it is moisture! Ted was called out to plow at 10:30 last night but it didn't start sticking until 4:00AM so he was paid all those hours to sit around waiting.

Time to run off for our traditional Mexican Sunday lunch. Mmmmm, so hungry I can't stand it. Sorry you weren't home Heidi but I will be happy to tell you how yummy it was.

Sorry I have been missing in action. This has just been a very, very, very busy week.

Sandy, thanks for the call. Sorry we missed you.

I am beginning a new project assignment at work and it has me swamped and then I have had several things going on with my dad this week. First, he had the camera endoscopy on Monday (still no results yet). Then, I had to go meet his accountant to explain his 401K distribution was a direct rollover which she had overlooked. Instead of paying several thousand he is getting almost $20,000 back. It really wasn't rocket science but I took a couple of hours off work to drive there toi discuss it. Then Wednesday, he had to have another iron infussion. I sure hope we get results Monday from the camera endoscopy. I hope they find something that isn't too serious but easily treated so this mystery will end.

My brother was taken off the IV ATBs this week. He goes back for some tests next week and if all goes well, his surgery is tentatively scheduled for the Wednesday after Easter. They are planning to replace both the mitral valve and the aortic valve with cadaver valves.

Julie, I have been thinking of you and your Dad all week. I hope you see a lot of improvement this week. I'll keep him in my prayers.

The Customs agent that was shot in Atlanta presumably by that maniac from the courtroom shootings was a friend of Paul's. They had worked together before he joined the Customes Bureau. This has been a real big shock for Paul. We had been to the St. Patrick's Day Parade in the morning and came home for a break before goiong to Turner's hockey game. We had the TV on and saw they had the guy in custody and then they mentioned Dave's name and Paul about lost it. We were hoping it wasn't the same Dave Wilhelm, but we found out 10 minutes before Turner's game started that it was. Another friend had seen his picture on TV. Needless to say, that put a damper on the day and we had a team dinner after the game at Appleby's. I told Paul to have a few drinks and I would drive home. Then we had 2 hockey games this morning.

So, now you all know what I have been up to.

We had a high of 75 yesterday and it is 70 mnow. Tomorrow is not going to be as nice. Back to the 50s. Denine, I wish I could sned you some of our weather and our spring life. Things are definitely beginning to green up and bloom. Our bradford pear tree should be in full bloom in about a week.

Good morning everybody!!! It is a snowy day, I really wish it would snow hard and we could have a blizzard, but probably not this snowstorm!!!

This weekend was a lot of fun, but exhausting weekend. Had a lot of fun late Friday night with my friend and an early morning at the zoo, then by nightfall it was snowing!!!

Chris's sister invited us to go to Tennessee this summer in June. Her family and their other brother's family are going to rent a cabin up there and they wanted Chris to come, so we will see!!!! Sounds like fun to me.

Mom - it is snowing a lot more at home then up here in Lakewood.

Susan - glad to hear from you. Give Paul lots of hugs for us. Today at the Fed Center the flags are at half mass for the customs agent.

Good Morning

Took Friday off so back to work is not fun. Yesterday Bob and I stayed home most of the day and pretty much did nothing. Since I had the housed cleaned from top to bottom I got to take a break. Since we have the Thorn Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri and most of the day and all night on Saturday we decided it is ok to do nothing. Our dinner party went very well. I love to have parties but am not good at entertaining but it went great.

It is snowing right now we are suppose to get about 2 inches. I wish I had paid more attention to the weather, I would have traded Bob vehicles. Since I have to drive about 25 miles North I like to have the van. He only drives about 10 miles South. My Mustang does not do very good on slick roads. The north is alway worse then the south.

Susan- How terrible about Pauls friend. Let him know we are all thinking about him.

Heidi- You crack me up. Reading your posts uplifts my day.

Denine- You always sound like you have it all together. I wanna be just like you.
