When do 2 year olds stop shouting everything? My poor hearing has been taking such an assault lately.

I put paint samples on the wall in the laundry room and our bathroom. It will probably be months before it actually gets done though.

Julie: We hated to cancel in June, but we saw no other choice.

I am just tired today.

I work tomorrow morning.

Susan-good luck with the eyes! I am soooo jealous! I would give my eye teeth...actually I do still have those teeth...to have Lasik. Regarding Abby...I know it is hard but you have to look at it from her point of view, Is she happy the way she is? Is she feeling poorly all the time? just my opinion.

Heidi-I knew it! I guess Ryan wouldn't have been interested in you since you would be just like his mother! Oops...I forgot...he raised himself...no mother.

Well Wednesday & Thursday made up for the one "good" day. We had seven admissions by 11 AM & six were C-Sections. We ended up with eight C-Sections & two vag. deliveries! Yesterday was no better! Joyce is working today & we are already planning a Los Amigos night

Jeanne: I have only lost 7 pounds to date, Sandy is the one we won't recognize! Sounds like one busy day!

Went in to the den of germs this morning, oh, I mean work. We have 5 residents in the hospital with pneumonia and the staff are dropping like flies. I hope I missed the worst of it, but they just 911'd someone yesterday and she is not expected to make it. I hate it when the sweet residents die. Hopefully I will not get sick! Keeping everything I have crossed. Luckily I don't work again until next weekend.

With Jerry home, I got to take a nap today. I am dipping into my flexpoints tonight for a couple of 7&7's. That ought to help with the germs too!

Going to a friends to play cards tomorrow night.

CSI: Las Vegas is almost on, so I gotta go. It is on Spike TV as repeats.

Hi everyone. Just a quick not to say thanks for the well wished for the eyes. I am typing this as wek speak with no glasses. I have 20-20 to 20-25 vision as of one day post-op. I go back in a month and he says it may be sharper then. This was the best money I have evr spent on myself. I highly recommend it to everyone. I can see the clock in the middle of the nght. I see crisper than with glasses or contacts. It is just amazing! They even let us video tape the surgery so I have a "home movie" of my eye being cut and lasered!! How cool is that? Now I can by cool sunglasses!!!

Turner has hockey today and tomorrow in town. These are the first league games he has had this season where we didn't have to travel. It is also the last of the regular season games.

I would love one of those margaritas, too!!!

Yea Susan!!!! Cool sunglasses and able to see on top of that! Congrats. Although do you have to wear those un-cool old lady cataract sunglasses for a while? I want to see a picture of you in those .

Sandy-there are some people starting to get on my nerves over there with the one line posts back and forth...really really annoying. It seems to be one in particular.

BONNIE: Sorry I didn't read the post about you wanting to go to Los Amigos until today. You should just know that if we say we're going we DEFINATELY are going! I am still being good. I only had one low carb beer , the usual salad & crabcake.

SANDY: The protein bars really help. It is what I look forward to each day. Someone I work with told me about the protein bars at Walmart called "Detour" which are $5.48 for a box of six (cheaper than others). They are really tasty. I just hope they go with the LA Weight Loss. I can't tell you how much I lost because you would know how BIG I got but I am feeling thinner. I am not back to my first cruise weight with you guys yet.

My cousin Kathleen is up from North Carolina to be with her mother. Her mom is on hospice for pain control but is still functioning well. My mom on the other hand is falling apart. She now has a home care aide come twice a week to help her with her care & also she gets physical therapy. Can you picture those two living together?

Slow thread!!

Well my mom just called...my cousin died this morning. For the best. She will be flying up tomorrow morning. Interestingly tried to get a flight today from US AIR and they don't take reservations for same day flight...other big carriers do.

Nothing else new here. I would like to go up for the memorial but it would be too costly for me.

Bonnie, I don't have to wear those hideous sunglasses. The ones they gave me, although cheap, are quite stylish. I am still so amaized with what all I can see!

Congrats to all of you with the weight loss. I stayed the same this past week but I am hopeful for this coming Wed.'s weigh in.

We have decided for sure to go to Germany this summer. Our plan is hopefully about 2 1/2 weeks in July. I have to start planning now. Wish it was the cruise with you guys but the dates don't mix well with the school calendar.

I have to go work on tax stuff some more so I guess I will say ta-ta for now!

Hey all. Busy weekend, shopping.

We were supposed to go to a friends last night, but they were sick, so we went out to dinner and the mall instead. Got some good buys last night and today. I bought an incentive dress today. It is a light pink halter dress. It is really pretty and only $10. I need to lose all of my weight to fit into it even though it says it is a 14. I bought some adorable shoes today at Famous Footwear and 2 pairs of cords at my favorite store for $8. Jerry got a $60 sweater for $15 at Kaufman's.

Bonnie: Sorry about your cousin.

Sue: That is great about your eyesight!

Tomorrow is Monday, again, and I have the floor guy coming. Tuesday, I have an appt. for my feet.
