 Oh my gosh Julie. I can't believe that happened. What a total mess. I can't even imagine what was going on in your head. I am so glad that everything turned out ok. Oh my!!!!!!! Noah's preschool walked the kids out to the cars. It is a nice concept, if it is done right! It sure helped when Graci was a little baby!

Sally, still busy as always, I see. I loved the temps we were having last weekend and on Monday. It was soooo beautiful. Heard it might rain tomorrow a little and we should get some snow Mon into Tues.

Bonnie, I feel for you. You are really going to miss the car. Especially with a schedule like that!!

Hi guys, just talked to Heidi. It has been cloudy in FL today but she is now laying out in the sun for a short time. I told her about your ordeal, Julie. She just kept saying "that's crazy".

Weighed in today for a 1.8 loss. Yahoo.

Wow-3 posts, 2 from Sandy!

Julie-what an awful experience! I would have been a raving maniac.

Gee-without Heidi and Denine we are really, really a slow thread. Shame on us.

Got the car back. Miraculously Pam's car was finished by 12 noon today. Was supposed to do dinner tonight with a friend and her 2 daughters...girls nite out but had to go with Pam to pick up here car and they wanted to eat by 6PM! OK with me I'm tired. Root canal tomorrow, possibly some pulling. They had a cancellation so who do they call? Their cash cow mouth!! Oh well...I will have beautiful teeth by August...bought and paid for!

Hi guys. We are in Chesapeake, VA for the weekend.

Julie, glad all worked out but I can not even imaginen how you must have been feeling!! Extra hugs for our kids!!!

I had to take Abby to the vet before we left because she was having more problems. They say she has a lot of blood in her bladder. They are giving her subQ fluids and pain medicine. I may have to make that decision I'm not wanting to make when we get home.
I'll try to log back in later today. Miss you guys!

Later!

Hi guys, busy day at Ted's dads house. Nothing really new here.

Glad that Bonnie got the car back. Cash cow mouth, how funny. You will be so beautiful by Aug!!

Susan, enjoy your weekend. You need time away. Gosh, Heidi, Denine and you are all vacationing. When will it be my turn? Pixie dust to Abby!!

Just a quick Hi before we eat diiner. Elijah and I were playing Elmo online and I thought I would stop in and say Hi and that I miss all of you.

Hi mom, I see you are on.

Just wanted to drop in to say "Hi" & catch up on the latest news!

BONNIE: So sorry about your cousin. :sad1: I don't know about the people on the other board yet. Some I really like & others I just don't get!

JULIE: It's always SOMETHING.

SANDY: Still losing weight. Pretty soon you will just disappear!

Does anyone get the Disney magazine? They have an article on the Disney Cruise :boat: & a picture of the servers standing at the entrance of the dining room and I think it is Micah on the right. Let me know if it is him or if my eyes are deceiving me :magnify:

Had a nice Thursday & Friday at work & then Joyce met me at Los Amigos (no Margaritas still dieting). This is now Joyce's weekend to work.

Hope you all have a nice weekend. Lots of not good things going on with my Aunt & Mom. Dogs are visiting to cheer me. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Many people hide behind posts...the person they wish they could be comes out I think. Going into chat you get a better feel for people. Personally I'm not too crazy about all the babble back and forth, post with just a smilie etc. But they are a good bunch. Unfortunately I think people may get turned off when others just address each other...sort of like an email back and forth.

Morning friends or should I say "family"?

Surprise. Nice to hear from you Heidi. Sure hope Taura changes her mind so you can get to Miami! I was sad to get your message.

Bonnie got me into the other chat last night. They welcomed me very nicely. It was very hard to follow as there were probably 12 people in it.

Jeanne, I agree whole heartedly with you and your view of them. The picture is on the WONDER in the magazine. Good girl, no margaritas! I would kill for one but I am trying to be good. Heidi turned us on to a WONDERFUL margarita at our favorite mexican food restaurant. I want one so bad. She will have to tell you the name. I can never remember.

Speaking of mexican restaurants. It is almost time for us to go to ours. Adios!

Hey all! We got back from HH about 10 PM Firday night. We had a really nice time. We built sandcastles on the beach and Kaleigh went for her 1st bike ride on the back of daddy's bike which she LOVED. We went to a campfire twice and sang silly songs and made s'mores. It was just a nice vacation. We hope to go back again.

Julie: OMG! I would have freaked out! Glad everything worked out. Also glad everyone is getting over their various bugs. Pixie dust for your dad.

Sue: Pixie dust to Abby and your dad and brother.

Sandy: You are going to be so skinny come August!

Bonnie: Have fun with your new computer.

Jeanne: Good for you, no margaritas.

Heidi: Hope you are having fun in Florida.

Sally: I need some painting done after our 6 month walk through on Wednesday. Of course, we need money for paint too!

Barb: How was your dinner? What did you make?

I am not witty like some of the people on the other thread. I do enjoy their banter.

Off to see how many pages I have to catch up on.

Jake (the jack russell) is barking at me because I am eating grapes & he likes to play with them when you give him one.

DENINE: HH sounded like a really nice time - family fun!

SANDY & BONNIE: One of these days I WILL become computer & electronically literate & be able to go on the chat line, post photos, print, etc.

HEIDI: Hope you are having fun!

Off to read the other board & see what they have been up to. Have a great Sunday. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Jeanne: Jazzy likes to play with grapes too.

I am going to try starting potty training with Kaleigh this week. I don't think it will work, but I figure I will introduce her to it. I brought up the potty chair from the basement and bought some of those pullups with the feel wet liner.

I am afraid that I may have plantar fasciitis. My feet are always hurting, especially when I get up on the morning and my right heel hurts. It was so bad last Sunday (our drive down) that I was getting sharp pains in my heel.

It is cold and snowing. I want to go back to Spring in HH!

Hi all...still nursing the mouth. Did a little too much after the dentist yesterday. Feel lousy.

Welcome back Denine...it was quiet with you and Heidi gone.

Snow is on the way tonight. Luckily a holiday tomorrow so no work.

Off to the store .

Hi guys, Ted got the taxes done! :Pinkbounc Yahoo, that is always a good feeling to get that done!! Turbo tax is a wonderful invention!

Denine, welcome home. Your trip sounded so perfect. I would have loved a trip like that!! We took our girls on bicycle trips every night before bedtime when they were little. They loved it. The neighbors would always comment about the two babies. I bet Kaleigh is ready for potty training. Does she hate wet or poopie diapers? That is always a good sign when they start tugging at their diapers. Graci was my easiest baby to train. Actually, train isn't the word. She was ready and never made a mess and still hasn't. Now all the others kids I trained were different stories!!

Bonnie, sorry to hear about your mouth hurting. Did we talk too much or did you laugh too hard at Mark? Holiday for Ted and Heidi tomorrow too.

Jeanne, I am not computer smart. I am just starting to figure out a few things. Bonnie helped me get in the chat room but quite honestly, it was VERY easy. She could talk you through it too. Love the story about the grapes. How cute! By the way, LA Weight loss took grapes away from me and told me to eat berries or melons. That worked really great for me.

Denine, I had plantar fasciitis on both feet and had surgery on both feet because of it. My advice to you right now is to go buy GOOD tennis shoes and also hard orthotics to put in your shoes. Spenco is a good brand. Heidi just had to resort to them as well. Birkenstocks has some too for more money. Don't ever walk barefoot again. Do stretching exercises. By good tennis shoes I mean place the front of the shoe in one palm of your hand and place the back of the shoe in the other palm and try and push together. If the shoe bends then it isn't good for you. Also, put the shoe on a flat surface and then check to see if it "rocks" sideways or front to back. If it does, don't buy them. It is sooo important for you to take precautionary measures now. Surgery was my last alternative and I am sorry I did it. Don't get me wrong, it took away the pain but I am now left with not ever being able to wear sandals, dress shoes etc. I need my orthotics at all times. Going barefoot is somewhat painful. If you ever watch me, I kind of tiptoe when around the pool or beach. I can't emphasize enough to do something NOW not when it is too late. By the way, birkenstocks have great shoes, expensive but great. I don't need orthotics when wearing them.

Heard from Heidi today. Crazy girl fell asleep at the pool and got sunburned. Oh well, now she will have "color" when she goes back to work. :sunny:

Hi everyone! Welcome back Denine. Glad you had a nice time.

Bonnie I heard lots of drinking will help your mouth! LOL!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LORI MEDINA!!!!

Even though she probably will not see this, we still think of her as family!

Well gotta runn, will check back in later tomorrow!

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I am finally feeling better after 2 weeks of having a cold. I am even going back to the Y tonight. :cool1:

My family is all home enjoying a day off and I am here at work. We don't get many holidays off.

Barb

hmmm lost my post..hit a wrong button by mistake.

Anyway feel better today...I think I may have had a little fever yesterday spent most of the day in bed watching movies.

Today...out in search of a humidifier again. out of stock in home depot. Hair color today...self of course. Too cheap to keep up with going to the salon. Maybe I can get Pam back over to pull through the highlights. Luckily my hair is tough enough that I can color and highlight in the same day.

One thing about the other thread...Great Jokes!

Have a good day all...our snow fizzeled into a little slush...thank heavens. :cold:

Julie our birthday reminder person...love ya!
Happy Birthday Lori!

Sandy: Thanks for the info. I thought that was what you had, but I wasn't sure. My feet have been hurting for several months now. I just now figured out what may be causing the pain. I very rarely go barefoot. I have high arches, so I have always worn arch supports in my shoes and know it when I wear shoes that don't have them. It always takes a while to find new tennies that are comfy. I know the treadmill did not cause this since they were hurting before I started doing it again. Should I see the doctor?

Happy Birthday Lori! :cheer2:

Bonnie: Sorry your mouth is still hurting.

Jerry had to work today. He used to get it off, but now it is a floating holiday and he can take it when he wants.

Barb: Glad you are feeling better.

Kaleigh has a slight cold. Mostly she is sneezing with a few sniffles.

Potty training: Kaleigh couldn't care less if she is wet or poopy. She does show interest in the potty and wants to sit on it. I had her sit on the potty chair with her clothes on just to get used to it. Well, she loved it and took it into the living room and pulled out the bowl to "make soup". I told her I didn't want any of that soup. I explained what it was for. I don't know. I don't think she will be trained until she is 3, but who knows.

Heidi: Ouch!

Denine your soup story made me laugh. :rotfl: My dinner went very well. Other then some spilled tea on my carpet that I can't seem to get out, everything went well. I made spaghetti and Lasagna. I am having another dinner party on March 12. I am making lasagna again. Guess I am not not very imaginative. I am having about 12 people this time.

Work is quiet today. I am so glad. One more day for my voice to get back to normal.

Barb
