You know Julie each week I say I am going to play powerball...I will really make a concerted effort to do so. If I win we will all go on the cruise in AUgust! We will think of you often!

I will never abandon this thread although we do seem to be dropping like flies...we have slowed down terribly here. The other is a lot of banter back and forth...I don't bother telling about my day to day stuff cause I don't think they listen too much to that. Not like you all.

The class last night was on the Lincoln conspiracy. It was really interesting because it went over all different theories about whether John Wilkes Booth & his conspirators did it alone or was it a bigger conspiracy. The Professor/Doctor who gave the class was my teacher 23 years ago (his first year of teaching at the Communit College).

JULIE: So sorry to hear of all the illness in your house. . Hope you just shake it off. Hope everything goes well with your Dad & the Cardiologist.

HEIDI: I am so jealous. Have a great time in Florida .

Nice to hear from Julie again. We always worry about you when you don't post. Don't even need to ask for pixie dust for your dad. It was already done! Hope your family is mending as well. We did the yoga as a family. Just try a cheapy DVD like I did. I got mine at Ross for 6.99. By the way, you and me share clothes? Not in my lifetime! I could only wish!

Jeanne, your class sounded very interesting. Plus your teacher of 23 years ago was kind of fun!

Bonnie, I might try and get into the chat room sometime. They are doing such a good job now trying to include everyone. Good to see! I have a feeling your friend "Cathy" felt the same way I did. Her posts sounded a little upset a couple of times.

We watched the DVD on Curacao and Ted really wants to rent a jeep or something instead of a beach day. That could really be fun.....especially with him being Dutch!

I am running on no sleep for the last few days. My body wakes up around 2 or 2:30 and won't go back to sleep. Today is Graci day and I am so pooped and my stomach is sick from being so tired. Hope she is a good girl. I think I will run over to Walmart to fill some void so I don't have to play babies and my little pony's. Maybe even get some CAFFEINE pop!

My weigh in tomorrow will likely be a stay even day. Oh well. Next week, right?

You know I would be more than happy to stuff you in! As thin as you are however I think I may have to pay extra for the weight. Of course there is another room available now...one of the others will be 7 1/2 mo pregnant...shall I tell Pam? Of course we can't tell your parents. You 2 would get along fine. She loves to dance and party.

Major headache for the second night in a row...I think stress related.

Bonnie, can I seek in one of your luggage pieces too??? It sounds like the other thread is so much fun. I will live this crusie through you guys who are going and leaving me behind. I just hope you don't abandoned this thread! We still love you guys too! We might be small, but we are still strong! (I hope at least!) I think we need another wine chat with all of us or at least a call! We also need a reunion cruise! That would be the original Oct 19th cruisers along with Faith and Kristy and any other cruiser you feel will make our group fun. Does that mean that you all want BEANO to join us??? LOL!! Just kidding!!

Worked last night 11 PM to 7 AM. Overtime is very hard to get so when I had the opportunity to work last night I did! Came home, took the dogs to the park, slept two hours & then drove the dogs to their OTHER home. I don't want to sleep too much because I won't be able to sleep tonight.

So we have a few people sneaking in suitcases!

Decide on the dates for the Reunion Cruise so we can check prices.

Nothing too new and exciting here. I'm not the one at HH or the one going to FL for the weekend. Bonnie, maybe that means I will try the chat on Sat. When do they do it? I am not so sure I will be able to get in. I read that so many people have trouble figuring it out and you know what a computer dummy I am. I never even knew that site until it was in the newsletter. I stated on the thread that I didn't know and no one pmed me. Someone else posted that and a helpful person said they pmed them. I just don't get what it is about me.

The other thread is about who can top the others story. If you aren't witty then they don't have the time for you. As you know, I am certainly not a witty person. Now Sandy...they are not all like that...I can think of one or two but really the others are really nice. I figured out some of the people in chat. And hey! I'm an east coaster! Maybe that's why I like them! TEE HEE!

What a day! Was going pretty well until 4:30...then a major mess up with one of the marketing reps and a meeting that she told me (I had it in writing)that it was for 2/23. Today she is calling me frantically about agenda, directions etc...I said "what date do you have this meeting on your calendar?" She said "tomorrow." ARRGH!! No car (Pam's is in the shop so she has the Subaru, interviewing in the am, lunch scheduled with another sup! Co sup is home for the day!!!! I made her change it to the 23rd!! I stood my ground!

Had to take the bus home...Pam's car not ready and she was running late from work.

So...that was my day...started out well...end stinky...but no problem child until at least mid march. I can handle it!

The continuing sicky saga!!! The stomach virus (YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!) has been passing from oe of us to the other. WIth that going on and stuff with my dad and my brother, I just haven't had a lot of time to get on and post. I miss you guys. I try to read the posts from work when I can but work blocks me from being able to post.

My dad may need another blood transfusion soon. His numbers continue to drop even with the procrit shot and they still don't know what is causing it. He had an upper GI endoscopy yesterday and they didn't find anything. Swallowing the camera is probably next. The doctors are supposed to be consulting with each other and getting back to us tomorrow.

My brother continues to take his IV antibiotics and doesn't go back to the doctor until next week. He is feeling so much better now. He didn't realize how run down he was until the antibiotics kicked in good. He turned 44 on Valentine's Day. Glad he wasn't in the hospital for that.

Abby, my kitty, seems to be doing a little better. She likes her prescription food and she is almost finished with her antibiotics.

I have my annual review in the morning. I'm not expecting anything surprising. I have had a great year and I think they know it! Now SHOW ME THE MONEY!

We are supposed to go to Chesapeake, VA this weekend for hockey. I guess that will depend on how Turner is. He was home with the gastrointestinal virus (upper and lower) today and still feels bad. He hasn't gotten out of bed all day (except for bathroom business).

I just wanted to say hello to everyone and let you all know I am still here and miss you all. I'm still sad that I can't go on the cruise with you all. I know you all are getting so excited.

I'll try to post more tomorrow.

Susan so sorry to hear about all the illness...not a good year! Speaking of annual reviews...I have to write up 10 of them!!!

Bad news...my mom called last night to tell me my cousin in NH is being moved from ICU to hospice...means he may not make it through the weekend. When I was little I was going to marry him when I grew up. First of us to go. Weid mouth cancer the weirder thing is that his ex wife has been battling the same for years and is not doing well either.

On a lighter note:

Ha, ha. great joke about Michael Jackson! I found it so funny that he was hospitalized with the flu but if we get the flu, they wouldn't even think about admitting us. Crazy world the celebrities live in!! Bonnie, the reason you feel the way you do about the other thread is that they talk to YOU! Makes a BIG difference! Oh well. Their loss! No, not all of them are like that but ....

Susan, I was laying around in bed this morning and was thinking about you. I am so glad that you found the time and energy to post. I have been so worried. Pixie dust and prayers continue for your brother and father. Good luck on your review. This will be the second year that Ted won't get a raise. The City is going through some tough times. They are considering a raise of about point 25 but they might just as well keep it at no raise and perhaps get out of trouble and give the employees a decent raise next year!

Bonnie, I am sorry to hear about your cousin. Bless his heart. And then his wife also. That is strange! My grandpa had some sort of cancer and it spread to his mouth and throat. It was awful!

Heard from Heidi. She is flying to Utah first before FL and is on a little puddle jumper. She is not thrilled to get on the little plane. At least it is only for an hour! What would she have done years ago??

Yea, Julie is back to posting again. Yep, Ted and I are in for either AR or Survivor. I know that Heidi wants in too. I remember Bonnie and Susan and their coffee chats. That was fun to get up and read some fresh posts! So how is the family doing? Getting any better? Graci and Noah are going through diahrrea issues. They get better and it starts back in again. I hope that they keep it to themselves!

It's my cousins ex wife. His current wife who is 12 yrs older is fine. No word yet today from my mom so right now it is a waiting game. Funny, I truly did have it all worked out when I was little...even though we were cousins I could still marry him because I was adopted. I was 16 when he married the first time. I was disappointed.

Well, Pam still has the car since hers is still in the shop and no sign of it coming out. I had dinner plans tomorrow night, dentist on Sat., have to drive to valley forge on tues, willow grove on wed. I will have to rent!

Hiddi ho people!!!! Nothing exciting going on around here. I have a horrible migraine today, but other than that things are going well. THe family is finally on the mends.

Oh, did I tell you all what happened last friday? LONG STORY BUT here is the shortened version.....I went to pick up Makenzie from school, now here is the routine.... around 11:45am the children come out with 2 six grade school guards and the teacher. The parents stay in their cars, and pull up one at a time and then the child is walked to the car and get in and off you go. WELL, this day I watch the children come out and I see Makenzie with the rest of her class and nothing seems unusual. I pulled up and the guard comes to the car and says "I think Makenzie went home with someone else". (Now I should tell you that the rule is IF the child is going home with someone else other than the parent or the person scheduled to pick them up, you need to send a note with your child so the teacher knows they are going home with someone else.) Also, this day the teacher wasn't outside with the class. I said to the guard... WHAT! Who did she go home with? He said I think she went home with Sydnee (a good friend of hers). I said she wasn't suppose to go with anyone. I know Sydnee's mother and Juli (that's mom's name) would have let me know if she was going to pick Makenzie up too. SO now I'm freaking out and drive away and call Juli's house. I left a message on her answering machine saying that I hope she has Makenzie because the guard told me she went home with someone else and he thought it was with Sydnee. I race home to see if she dropped her off at home and run into the house and ask Garry if Makenzie was home. He said no and I told him what was going on. He wanted to call the station and send a car over to Juli's house to see if Makenzie was there. I told him that I was going to go over there and if she wasn't there I would call him and he could then notify the station. On my way over to Juli's house, she calls my cell phone and says "OH MY GOD I don't have Makenzie! Where is she?" I said I have no idea! I saw her come out with the class, but when I pulled up, she wasn't there. So Juli says she would go back up to the school if I wanted her to, but I said I was on my way back up there. Meanwhile I'm in tears! Then my cell phone beeps and its the school. They said they had Makenzie in the office! I said where was she, they told me that the guards finished with the class and came back in and found Makenzie in the hallway. I said that I was on my way back to the school and since I had the other two sickies with me if someone could walk her out.

After I got Makenzie I asked her what happened and she said she wanted to stay in school and when back into the building. Now how she got into the building is a mystery because they are locked and you have to be buzzed in. I asked her where was her teacher and she said they had a substitute and she didn't come down. After I calmed down, I called the school to talk to the principal just to let her know I wasn't pleased and I know it was partly Makenzie's fault, but having only 2 six graders incharge of 20 5 year olds isn't really a good idea. So after speaking with her and Juli and Makenzie I finally got the whole story. I guess there were only 4 girls in class that day because everyone else was sick. Juli picked up 3 of them (long story but notes were sent) which left Makenzie by herself with all the boys. (the boys in the class are really bad REALLY bad and were running all over the place). So I guess Makenzie was feeling left out and decided to stay in school. Now how she got back into the building is a mystery and how the guards or any other school worker (noon aide or cafeteria worker which is right by the back door which they come out) did she her walking the halls with her coat on by herself..... It wasn't a good day. The principal apologized and agreed that this should have never have happened and that they will come up with an alternative routine if they have a sub again. SO...... that is how my week ended last week!

Oh my gosh Julie I bet you were beside yourself......when my kids were on school nothing ever happened that you needed to worry about but today things are totally different. I am so glad everything turned out ok.....

I am still painting, still house breaking Molly and going to Curves this morning. Barb is having our pastor and his wife for dinner tonight and I have to bake a cake and pie. Between their family and ours there will be over l5.

It is still like winter.....last year in Feb it was so warm and some days hot that I had all my flower beds cleaned and even planted a few plants that could take cold weather....had flowers going in my greenhouse....this year you never know from one day to the next if it is going to be freezing or warm. I do have yellow crocus, yellow primroses and purple pansies blooming from last year...it reminds you that spring is only 31 days away.
