Kristie-Pixie dust...gotta take care of that kidney! Hi to your mom for me.

Mom-Congrats to Leslie.

Heidi-Denine had a great idea! Maybe I should try a shot!

Well...to get ready for the Superbowl and to root for those Eagles, here is the link to the Eagles song that the orchestra recorded...just so we can get the spirit going across the country. I think I will send it to my relatives in MA! :rotfl2:
Fly Eagles Fly Lars Halle Orch :cheer2: :rolleyes1

Hi guys, haven't heard from Stacey yet. Sitting on pins and needles. That is all Heidi has talked about since she got home.

Kristy, you are so in my prayers. Don't forget to carry the pixie dust I gave you! Thanks for getting the info for me! What Heidi said goes for me, too. Call me if you need anything!

Jeanne, I didn't know that DU had done that. I can't wait.

Sally, congrats to Leslie. What an honor!

I lost a lot of weight this week. It was 3.4. Hope I can keep it off! Denine, Susan, are you going to weigh in?

Better get off the internet so Stacey can call.

BONNIE: Love the Fly Eagles Fly music by the orchestra. It really gets you in the spirit. :cheer2: :thewave:

HEIDI: Your food is free but not for parties (only if you stay in the Walt Disney Suite) so DU providing the food is a plus.

Congratulations to Leslie :flower3:. What an honor!

KRISTY: Tell your Mom we miss her. Hope everything is well with her.

Took the dogs to the park (which is now plowed). Dodgers collar broke & Jake got lost in the woods. What a day! Do you know what it's like walking through knee-high snow? It felt like I walked five miles! :cool1 Well now I need a nap!

Hope you all have a nice night. Toodles  :genie: JEANNE

Gosh guys, you don't know how excited we all are here. Thanks for the congratulations! Stacey is actually due on my due date. I delivered early tho. They said that she will probably follow my pregnancy. Can't see how that is possible. I never had morning sickness. Does that mean Heidi will have twins too? Stay tuned for that one!

OMG, twins!!!! Congrats!!!!

That is so awesome!! You all must be going crazy!! Thanks for sharing the news with us!

Pixie dust to so many of you: Heidi, Bonnie, Kristie...

Julie is still MIA. I hope she is OK.

Jeanne, you may need to take a day off to rest from the hike in the snow!

My dad got his 2 units of blood today and got finished around 6:30 this evening and we met them for dinner. No other news at this time from my brother either.

Paul's parents are coming in for the weekend to see Turner's play basketball. I hope we don't get the sleet and freezing rain they are talking about for Saturday. Today it was in the mid to upper 60s and it's downhill from there.

I'll try to post in the morning.
One more time for banana man!

Later!

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Have a great day, everyone. I'm running late but wanted to give you your quote for the day.

Later!

hi,
CANGRATULATIONS :cheer2:
THANK YOU EVERYONE. :goodvibes I feel a little better already. it's too hard to think about it when you read things like that.
mom says HI....

Twins, I am still in shock. Not only am I going to be an aunt to one baby, but two. And to think they get the "perfect" family of a GIRL and a BOY all at once. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cool1:  (can't forget the banana guy!!)

I was so suprised and happy. Then my night got better when my best friend from Florida called and told me that she is moving back home in September.

Sally - that is a very respectable award, congratulations to Leslie.

It's the next day and I am just as excited as I was last night, I can't wait to tell all my coworkers and everyone that will listen.

Now who has ideas for a Baby (babies) Shower? :earsboy:

Morning guys, notice I didn't say GOOD morning? I swear I didn't get but one wink of sleep last night. I am so tired that I am sick to my stomach but still filled with excitement.

Can't tell you what kind of night Heidi had last night finding out about the twins AND her friend. I am so happy for both Heidi and her friend. They have been lost without each other.

Kristy, keep up the good work posting. Keep us posted how you are doing. Hi to your mom. She is missed. Thanks, got your email.

Susan, Ted's dad gets transfusions once a week. He has settled into the routine pretty good. Keep us posted on both.

I sent Julie an email. Maybe we need to go on an email campaign.

I think I hear Graci. Better run.

That is what Duriye told me this morning....she said maybe you will be yourself again when she comes back....I didn't realize I wasn't "my self." I just hope her DH doesn't change his mind in the months to come!!!

Heidi, I can't wait for you to come home. Graci and I went shopping at Dillards. I bought 2 adorable, beautiful Christmas dresses for next year for "Joey" and 2 Christmas outfits for Anthony. You can help me decide which ones to keep. One dress was originally50.00 that she gave it to me for 6.00. The other was 35.00 for 8.00. A little backwards in price but hey, she was nice! The boy outfits were 28.00 for 4.90 each. NICE!

This thread is quiet today. I miss having people to talk to. Bonnie must have gone back to work.

I am excited to see the outfits. I think I am going to try and workout today because I don't want to get lazy again, even if it is just to walk on the treadmill (I don't want to get out of the routine). Are we still on for Kohls tonight?

Where is everybody?

Hello, hello...anyone out there?

Mom (I see you are on again)- stop by the budget board to see the responses to a thread I posted about throwing a cheap baby shower, they gave me a lot of good ideas for me and Stacey.

Twins, how exciting! Twins run in my family, but they skip a generation. My mom was supposed to have them and didn't. I figured I would be the one.

Pretty cool today. We were drving home from the dentist and passed the airport. We saw a plane taking off, but didn't recognize it. It turned out to be Air Force One. It flew right over us. The President was in town to speak at the Cleveland CLinic. We said HI as he passed.

My jaw is still sore from the novacaine and dental work.

Sally: Great news about Leslie!

It is sooo cold here :cold: :cold: . Supposed to warm up a bit by the weekend. We may hit 40 on Monday.

Sandy: COngrats on the weight loss. We didn't weigh ourselves this week. You got great deals on the clothes.

Heidi: Great news about your friend.

Until tomorrow :hourglass

Simple jobs always get put off because there will be time to do them later!

I am still so excited for the entire Van Horn family!!!

Paul took Turner to hockey practice yesterday evening so I could get some things done around the house. On the way home, there was very heavy traffic in my area of town. As I got about 3/4 mile from home, there was a police barricade. Apparently there was a gas leak and no cars were allowed down the road. There is no other way to get to my house so I had to park my car on the side of the road and walk home in heels (and I didn't have a jacket and temps had started dropping). They said it would be blocked for about 2 hours. After a couple of house, I took Stanley on a walk with me to get the car and bring it home. What an ordeal. I am so glad it wasn't raining!

My dad is feeling a lot better after getting the transfusion. My brother's appointment with the surgeon was rescheduled because of an emergency surgery. He has also developed a fever so they have put him on antibiotics. He sees the other surgeon on Monday.

Paul's parents are coming in today for the weekend and we are expecting an ice storm this weekend. I hope it isn't as bad at the one in 2002 when I had bronchitis so bad.

Oh well. Enough from me. Have a great Friday everyone!
Later!

Denine - Air Force One, that is so cool...I have always wanted to see that plane.

Susan - I can't believe you had to walk home, not fun....atleast you were close enough to walk home and not be stuck in your car for all those hours. Pixie Dust and prayers for your Brother and Dad.

Last night my mom and I had so much fun shopping. My poor dad didn't realize what he got suckered into doing...and he did it all for McDonalds Parfait, such a great guy. Of course we went shopping for the baby. I bought 4 outfits for the boy (1 was Disney), 6 outfits for the girl (3 were disney), 4 pairs of Disney socks, 3 pairs of Nike socks, and a cool washcloth, all for $40...I love all the deals going on right now!! I even got the boy a onsie that says "my aunt loves me" now I am looking for a girl onsie that says that.

Have a great weekend!!! TGIF.

Where is everyone?

Sue: How horrible. Now you will be taking your jacket and walking shoes in the car.

I tried calling Julie last night, but all I got was voicemail. I left a message.

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kaleigh was actually pretty decent today.

The people next door seem to finally be moving in. There house was finished the very end of December. They started digging the last house we can see from our house. Amazing how quickly they have all gone up. The 2 right across from us are just about done. It will be weird to have neighbors, since we have been alone this whole time.

Happy Friday Everyone!!

TWINS!!! That is so cool!!! Congratulations!!

BOB COMES HOME TODAY!!!! I am super excited!! I have missed him so much.

Julie Julie where are you??

Better get back to work. More later

Barb
