Just taking a break from it all to wish everyone the very merriest of Christmas'. I hope it was a Blessed one for everyone.

Kaleigh is finally starting to feel better. Yesterday morning, I wasn't sure we were going to get to my parents.

It has been a very long, very nice, toy filled weekend. It was weird not going to church last night, but it was for the best. We didn't need Kaleigh picking up any more germs. As usual, we came home from Jerry's parents today with more than we went with. Kaleigh is in toy overload right now. She did enjoy playing with her cousins the past 2 days.

Tomorrow we are going shopping. I want to try to be at the stores by 8-8:30 AM. We will probably eat out, though we have eaten so much, we may not feel like eating!

Barb: Enjoy Disney. I hope you have a safe trip. Say hi to your mom for us. Glad you found the stroller!

I am tired and full, so I am going to go watch Toy Story with Jerry and Kaleigh until we put her to bed in short order.

Hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas. I worked really hard today. Isn't Christmas supposed to be a SLOW time at the hospital?

We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner & then opened up presents. I think everyone liked their presents. I got lots of really great things (especially the money). I will be off half price shopping tomorrow morning after I drive Mary (my new roommate) to the airport at 6 AM. She is off to visit her other daughter in California for a week.

Sorry to read about Missy.

Missed being in WDW this year. It just isn't Christmas unless you are in Epcot at the American Pavilion watching The Candlelight Procession, listening to the narrator & enjoying the music and, of course, dinner at Le Cellier! Miss you all :grouphug: at the holidays and always. Toodles  :earsgirl: JEANNE

Hiddy Ho everyone! I hope everyone had a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! We here did. The kids are still in a toy coma! We still have my mom's to exchange with and that will be on Wednesday.

We watched the Disney Christmas parade and thought of all of you!! Boy that was fun being together down there at Christmas. Since people are cruising next year (2006), how's about Christmas in Disney 2007? The first week? Make plans now!!!!

Well, gonna go CONTINUE the clean up of Christmas morning!! I never knew there could be soooooooooooo many boxes with twisties!!!!

TTFN!!!

JULIE: I miss all that craziness with young kids on Christmas morning. We opened up our presents Christmas Eve since I had to work Christmas Day. Policemen & nurses know all about working holidays. My cousin went to WDW the first week of December & was talking about the Osbourne lights, MVMCP, etc. & I really started thinking about all of you & how much fun we had at Disney. I can do 2007 but I was thinking 2006 ::MickeyMo !

I was one of those crazy shoppers out early yesterday. :cool1: I wanted the "Wonderful World of Disney" ornament (since I grew up on that show on Sunday nights) but didn't want to pay $24.00 for it so I bought it yesterday for $12.00. Someone gave me the "Mickey Mouse Club" ornament & I bought the "True Patriot" Mickey Mouse for myself too! Some of my ornaments on the Mickey tree get old looking & need to the replaced. I am not really a "Snowbabies" fan but love them with Mickey & the Gang so I bought myself Minnie with the snowbaby for half price. Got my Chirstmas cards for next year & wrapping paper. A neighbor has those balls with white lights hanging from the trees & I love the way they look so I bought them for next year too!

I hope everyone had a blessed & rewarding Christmas. In between all the craziness I did make it to 4:00 PM Mass on Christmas Eve. Miss you all (especially around the holidays). :grouphug: Hope the New Year is filled with health, happiness & the love of family & friends. :grouphug: :grouphug: Toodles  :earsgirl: Jeanne alias Disney Dudette #2 :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Julie: Don't you hate all the boxes with twisties in them? UGGHHH!

Kaleigh is still in toy overload and so am i since my living room and kitchen are filled with toys right now.

We can do Christmas 2007, but not 2006.

Jeanne: We got some good buys yesterday too. I got the Tigger on Pooh ornament. We also bought Kaleigh a winter coat for next year and a Christmas dress and other clothes and jammies for next year. I bought slippers and some wrapping paper and a box of cards. I got Kaleigh more ornaments for her soft Christmas tree. We shopped most of the day and then went to Friday's for lunch. Bought some wine on clearance at World Market and some storage boxes at Target. We were pooped. Ohe yeah, we also got all our calendar's for next year.

How come the Rose parade is not on New Year's Day this time?

Going to go to AMish on Thursday. Jerry has 1 day left to take off.

Good Morning!

Thought I had posted today but guess not. Hummmm strange. Talked to Mom this morning while driving to work. She is off her cruise and staying with my nephew. She sounds terrible. She has a really bad cold and was sick most of the cruisel. Said she slept alot. I feel bad for her sick on Christmas and while on a cruise! I hope she gets better for Disney.

We had a really fun Christmas. A baby in the house sure was fun. He was all into tearing the wrapping paper could have cared less about all the fun stuff Nana got him! I bet he is the only 7 month old that got a Pooh toaster! I also got him a CD player and some Christian kids tapes so he is all set!

Spent yesterday at the mall got some pretty good deals. Gymborie had of all things summer clothes on clearance. I got Ethan 5 new outfits for Disney and only had to pay $3.99 for them. I got him 2 pair of shorts for next summer too.

Back to work today. Got my flu shot only working half a day tomorrow then leaving on Thursday!! I am soooooo Excited!!!

Hello,

It has been two crazy days of shopping and returning. Only one return left. Heidi and I managed to get up early on the 26th and met up again today.

Well, our little Tyler was put on a nepulizer before Christmas. He is having trouble breathing with this cold. Sure hope he doesn't have athsma. Joey seems to be doing ok and I am taking airbourne because I have the symptoms. Airbourne does say that if you get it it will be a milder case and I am a true believer in it like Denine. Julie, I can find it at Target, Walmart, Sam's Club.

Barb, Pooh toaster. How funny! I LOVE GYMBOREE!!! Especially their blankets. Bought Tyler and Joey each one for Christmas.

Jeanne, what a treat to hear from you! I have been meaning to call you. Just been too busy.

Julie, busy or what?? How did that foot of yours fair the holidays? Garry's big day is soon approaching. Give him a big hug from the Van Horn's.

Denine, sorry to hear Kaleigh is STILL sick. Just not right at the holidays for a kid to be sick!

I managed to lose .2 so was happy that it wasn't a gain. Heidi, Chris, Ted and I saw two movies over the holiday. We saw Cheaper By the Dozen 2, which was good, and icky King Kong. Talk about a LONG movie. It was 3 1/2 hours. Us girls felt that we should let the guys at least pick out one movie. NEVER AGAIN!!

Have to run. In a hurry to go up to Louise's house. We might already have a buyer for the car before we even thought about putting it up for sale. The potential buyer on the house is the one interested. Isn't it crazy?

New Years Eve will probably be spent up at Ted's dads house on the mtn. We thought we would be away from the neighborhood firecrackers and could get some SLEEP. Also, Heidi pointed out that we could see the fireworks of the whole entire metro area from his house. Now that sounds COOL.

Hi guys! Just dropping in to tell you all about Brooke! She has decided that it is fun to go potty on her potty!! She has gone on it 4 times so far today and she told us the last time that she had to go! I asked her if she has to go pee pee and she points to herself and says "there" and then runs to the bathroom and points to her potty and says "where it go?" Like she doesn't have to go yet, but it goes in there when she does. Now I KNOW that she isn't gonna get this potty thing down for awhile, but it is nice to see her so interested in it! I already have her wearing her "big girl" (pull ups with princesses on them) pants during the day. She just thinks she is hot stuff!! LOL!

Had a foot doctor appointment today and he took the stitches out and said I can start to TRY and wear normal shoes BUT to take it easy and don't go over board. I figure that I will probably wear this boot thing until sunday just to be on the safe side.

I will take plenty of pictures on Sunday and will either post or email them to you all. I'm so excited for him. I got him a mini frig (which he says is tooo big, it is one that is about counter high but isn't real wide it is only a 4.9cubic size. I think that it is ok but we will see) I also got him a senseo coffee machine (one of those coffee machines that brews on cup at a time) with a box of coffee pods, creamer, sugar packets, a jar of peanutbutter (he likes peanutbutter on celery), asprin, tums -- an office survival box. He also got a desk lamp from Anna Marie that says "you will respect my authority". From South Park (if anyone has ever seen that stupid cartoon with the four boys...) anyways.... it it way tooooooooooo funny!!!! We are going to paint his office this week. It has wood panelling half way up and the walls at the top are right now off white. We are going to paint it hunter green. His furniture is a really pretty deep cherry wood. So I really think that it will look really nice with it! We shall see!!!!! Can you tell I'm really excited about his office???

Well, gonna go! I'll check back in later!

Jeanne, good to hear from you!! You can do Christmas in 2006 and 2007!!!! And when we all do go and meet up......... OH HICKORY!!!!!! Is a MUST!!!!!

TTFN

It is so good to read all your posts. I was afraid that the thread was dying. As you can tell I am back at work.

Sounds like you all had a great Christmas. I thought of all of you. Christmas 2007 at WDW works for me, that will give me a year to save up after the cruise!!!!

Well this was the first year Chris had the girls at christmas and he was very excited. We had santa planned out and then one of the girls told me Christmas eve . They told me this after we had been talking santa up and making cookies for santa. I knew they still believed because they kept making letters and pictures for him so we continued with the plan and boy were they ever so excited that santa came. When we dropped them off Christmas afternoon they went running into their house telling their mom that santa is real and he came to the house. Chris appologized to their mom and she told him that she is losing that battle anyway and it wasn't a big deal. I am just glad Chris got to see their reactions before they do not believe.

Good Morning

This will probably be my last post until after Disney World. I am super excited. I stayed home from work today to finish all the last minute stuff. Bob and I are taking most of Ethan's stuff ahead so Missy does not have much to deal with. So I am trying to gather all his stuff up too.

Heidi- Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! I am looking forward to having another little one around that believes in Santa.

Better get back to work got lots to do before we leave.

Happy New Year to Everyone!!

GOODBYE BARB!!!!! :wave2: HAVE A GREAT VACATION, say HI to MICKEY for all of us. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cool1:

Barb: If you do read, don't forget about the baby centers. There is 1 in each park and they are great! Have a safe trip!

Julie: I think you are more excited about Garry's office than his promotion! That is too cute about Brooke! I also get Airborne at BJ's. Yeah about the stitches being removed!

Sandy: That sounds like a nice place to spend NYE. It is quiet around here, or, at least it was last year when we were the only ones here. Too bad about Tyler.

Heidi: How fun that you were able to get the girls to continue to believe. Kaleigh checked to see if the cookie were gone and to her amazement, they were, and she didn't want to leave him any.

Today is the first day that Kaleigh is finally feeling better. It has been a long haul. She was so cranky yesterday. I hope she doesn't get sick anymore this winter.

To Amish tomorrow, then I work Friday and Saturday mornings. I need to start on my NYE dinner on Friday. Jerry has to put the ribs in the crockpot while I am work on Saturday. I will make the sauce on Friday. I have a timeline of when I need to do things. I don't know why I picked up NYE when we always have John and Judy over.

So glad to hear from everyone. Sounds like all of you had a good holiday. I haven't heard from Bonnie. I hope she is okay.

It has been a long. busy week...

Hope you all have a good week & weekend. I am off to work for Thursday & Friday. No plans for New Year's Eve. I guess it is Regis & I. Where's my Dick Clark? Toodles  :earsgirl: JEANNE

Jeanne, glad you are posting more. Denine, Heidi and I get tired of talking to each other. We need more to gossip about!! At least you stay up for Regis. I am hoping to be sleeping by the time the clock strikes 12!! We hope to start a fire, have hot dogs and maybe Margaritas like we had on the ship.

Denine, I think one of these days I am going to fly out and you can take me to Amish. I always get jealous when you mention it. We use to have Mennonites in So. Dak growing up but we never went there to buy anything. It was a long haul for poor Kaleigh. She had a bad cold!!

Barb, have a wonderful time at WDW. I am sooooo jealous. I hope to have another WDW fix in Sept before the 10 day cruise.

Julie, a teacher, a travel agent and now an interior decorator. Sounds like you are having a blast. I think the green with the cherry wood would be perfect.

Well, we sold the car last night. We didn't even advertise it. We are ecstatic over it because trying to sell in a newspaper is hard. Now hopefully the house will sell as easy!

Better run and call Heidi. Wondering if she wants to come to dinner.

:Pinkbounc I talked to Bonnie tonight. :cheer2: It was wonderful to hear her voice. She is ok. I told her that we all miss her. Hopefully she will post.

Almost done packing. It has been a long hard day of cleaning the carpets, house and packing. I have this thing about having to have a clean house with no laundry to come home too. It has been a while since I shampooed our bedroom carpet, it sure needed it!

What is a baby center?? I will check in tomorrow before we leave for the airport at 8:00.

Good morning all.

Heidi, that was very nice of you to check it out for Barb. I don't know what a baby center is either. Barb, have a wonderful time. Hugs to all.

Thanks Heidi!

I'll be sure and look for the Baby Centers!

Well I am all packed and ready to go. Bob is loading the car and Tiffany is
still getting ready.

If my Dad has his lap top I will check in later.

Disney here I come!!!! ::MickeyMo

Check out what I found:
