Don't know what time Linda will get here...it is usually around 4. What time does the party start?

Barb, when are you going to come and get the furniture...I am very hopeful mine will be in by the weekend as the l0 days are up then.

Oh, and our lawnmower quit so we had to take it to the lawnmower hospital.....he said it would take about a week At least that is the 3rd thing that has happened to me in the last week so hopefully it is done. They said things come in three's.

I finished another flower bed this morning so I only have 3 to go...one easy one and two lots of work kind. I need more brick but can't get them until my license comes and then I have to change my checking account name. Had to cancel all my credit cards....terrible feeling not to have checks or plastic.

We had used our air conditioning twice....it sure is nice.
Barb, don't forget that you can have our cooling system and fans....you are going to need them unless you get air.

Have to go clean the kitchen.....

Hi all!

Sally: I would love to be able to work in the yard as much as you! As it is, I am not getting a vegetable garden this year. The weather hasn't been nice enough to till the ground or get any plants in, so I am just going to sneak a couple of tomato plants in somewhere.

Barb: That is funny about the snake and I am terrified of the things! I checked for airfare for our trip in Ocotber and it is still really high. We are planning on driving that trip, but may fly if the price is right.

I haven't heard from Julie.

Heidi: Relaxing by the pool sounds heavenly! I wanted to do more of that at WDW, but Kaleigh and I fry in the sun without slathering up in 50 SPF sunscreen.

Going to Home Depot today. Need stuff, plus mulch for the bed I just pulled a ton of weeds out of yesterday.

Sally: Hope your stuff gets found, in the meantime, how yucky to be without plastic or a drivers license.

Sally, Sally, Sally. Sorry to hear about the checkbook fiasco. And then there is the spider bite. I agree with you, I don't know which is worse, mice or snakes but then there is the dreaded spider!! Thank you soooo much for the tip about Big Brother. I didn't even know about it.

Sally, what channel are you getting Big Brother on? I looked in our guide and it's not on here.

Heidi, you know, you could always make a trip down to WDW too and "work out" your schedule of events for the girls!!! So when you guys come down, you will have everything ready!

As a matter of fact, Barb you need a get away, Sally you a break, Sandy you need to come help Heidi, and Jeanne, WDW called to tell me that they NEED a dudette representative for a quick visit!!!

Denine, that is sooooooooooo great that you guys are going down. Such great deals on the airfare. BUT, Garry came home yesterday (I had to wait until today for the official word) and told me that the other captian is out indefinitely and that now he is being ordered to the FBI academy starting June 1st! So now our trip is on hold! Can things get any worse?

Here I was feeling so sorry for you and thought of poor Denine with the air tickets. You are bad, so bad!! Ok, so I fell for it hook, line and sinker. It didn't help matters much when your second post was on a DIFFERENT PAGE.

I can't find the Big Brother listing either. I don't want to miss a thing! Of course it goes up against American Idol finale. Ok, so who does everyone think will win. I am guessing Taylor because he has a HUGE fan base. With that said, I don't think he is what today's kids want. I love them BOTH so will be happy no matter how it turns out.

Darn, I thought the commercial said May 24th and the show started in June but then I must have been mistaken since I can't find it on the schedule either.

I like both of them but would like to see Kat win...I think she has the better voice but either way they are both going to get contracts I bet.

Barb just left...she and Bob brought his mom over and they took the cooling system home....she said she now has Tivo.....she will love it.

Yes, I agree, Kat does have the better voice and Taylor won because he is fun to watch but either one would have been a good choice. I think we are going to hear from several of the finalist in the future. This year had extremely good talent...it seems AI gets better every year.

My daughter from Texas gets here in 4 days....4 days, yikes...I have to really get a lot done today....sure wish my furniture would come.

Jerry read Julie's post this morning and called her. He thought they might try something like that. Gotta love them though!

I have baby bunnies next to the steps from my sliding door. I found them yesterday. I had my garden gloves on and uncovered them. They were brand new. Funny thing is, we have never seen a rabbit, squirrel or other fuzzy-furry running around here. But, I guess there are 2 rabbits somewhere. I guess it's a good thing I can't get a garden in this year!

We ran out of mulch and need a few more bags to do everything. The bed is looking realy nice. We went for a walk with Kaleigh's old stroller to the new construction area and picked up more rocks for the border. May go again today. Now, I just need the small Mickey and Minnie garden statues to put there!

My welcome Mickey "rock", Tinkerbell windchimes and Flower festival poster came yesterday. I put the rock next to the front steps and put the 3 windchimes behind it. I need a poster frame so we can hang that up in the basement with the other one we have. This one is the Victoria Garden's with Spaceship Earth in the background. It is really nice.

I have been a good girl this week. I have done the treadmill 4 times, plus yardwork. I will weigh myself next week.

It is actually warming up. Wore shorts yesterday and today. Nice to have my windows open.

I work tomorrow, Sunday and MOnday. Sunday we are going to a cookout at a friends house and Saturday Jerry is taking his mom to the cemetery. This will be a difficult weekend for her. Her mom died a few years ago on Memorial Day and the 30th is Jerry's dad's birthday.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend and remember those who have fought and died for our country.

Heidi, I was at the Dollar Store today and found all kinds of glow sticks. I want to buy for our cruise plus for the girls for WDW.
