October 19, 2008 4 day Bahama - anyone else?

Hello all...
You can add a few more to the party. I am going with my sis and her DS10. I have been on the cruise 3 times in the past....all 3 nighters. I'm leaving my DH, DS18 and DS15 at home! I cruised in 2000 with the fam and then after 9-11, we did 2 trips in 2002 when Disney ran their $99 special. NOW that was a deal!!!
Now..don't feel too bad for my DH and DS's. We just returned from WDW. We chaperoned the high school band trip! 22 hours on a bus! Woo hoo!!

Can't wait to meet you all.

We're having a Disney Wedding and then boarding the WONDERful boat for some more time with friends and family!

Post Cruise Thought:

We get off on the 23rd and plan to fly home on the 24th in the AM. The night of the 23rd is a night for MNSSHP at the Magic Kingdom. I think we are going to go ahead and book tickets for the party too.

We are doing our second Disney cruise - first was in 2003 for our 10 year anniversary when we did an Eastern 7 day cruise - our boys were 1 and 3 and don't remember it. This time we are doing the Land & Sea, and will extend the land portion by a couple of days. "We" are myself (40), DH (43), DS (8) and DS (6). We have one of the secret porthole rooms on the cruise and will be at POFQ for the land portion. VERY excited! Just started really obsessing the last couple of weeks when I had to start researching restaurants for the land portion since we can make reservations now. I look forward to obsessing more with you all, LOL!

Our Trip Plans:
After having DVC put us on the waitlist for a concierge studio at Animal Kingdom Lodge for the two nights prior to the cruise, we found out on Monday that we got it! I called the AKL Concierge Planning team and we're now booked for a sunset safari (ends with a 4 course dinner & wine pairing at Jiko) for Saturday night before the cruise We're so excited, to say the least.

Just a reminder--- I'll be gone on an Alaska adventure from May 14-June 1. I'll make updates to the roll call list when I return. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Pam, the sunset safari sounds exciting, and to top it off with a 4 course dinner and wine pairing is truly fabulous!! I don't blame you for being excited.

Don't you wish October were closer? I guess the bright side is I have 5+ months to get smokin hot for a bathing suit, LOL!
