We're hoping for a cabana on SB at our window on the 28th, but only if we can find another couple (or two) to share with us. We did it in September and it worked out great.

Yes. We'll try at Midnight on Thurs as we always do, but I'm not expecting to get one (again)..... It's not a deal breaker for us tho.....

Will you be trying for a Family Beach or Serenity Bay Cabana?
You may have a good chance at getting one. If I'm correct the Disney Magic only has 22 concierge suites so you have a better chance getting a cabana on this cruise then if you were sailing on the Dream or Fantasy. Plus at present there are still 3 concierge suites that are still available. Sending you a little pixie dust pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Family beach. We had a cabana on our 10/20 Magic cruise that got cancelled & tried on the 10/20 Dream, 10/27 Magic and 3/8 Fantasy. One of these days ;)

We were thinking about it, but DH can't just if spending $500 on one. We had a shared one booked with another family on the 10/20 that got cancelled until we pulled out of that cruise all together. But unless we find another family to split the cost with, we probably won't do it. But I would like to....

My husband and I will share with you if you haven't yet found two couples.

When we sailed in February on the Fantasy, we couldn't get a cabana at our booking window. When we got on board, we went to guest services and asked to be put on a waiting list. There were two cabanas available on the FB and one on SB, which we took.

That would be great. Now cross your fingers that we can snag one.

Hi everyone, I just got off the phone with shoreside concierge and I was able to book Cabana #10 at Family Beach. If anyone would like to share it and split the cost, we are more than willing. It is me, DH and 2 DS ages 11 and 9. This will be our first time at CC so we don't anticipate spending a whole lot of time in it, but I wanted to get it anyway since we won't be back for a while.... Not sailing next year.
It can hold up to 10 people, so there's room for 6.
Just let me know if anyone is interested.

Can someone bump up the post about the mixology class? I must have missed it..... ID like to sign up. Thanks!

In the last few days I've had 2 tax refunds to my credit card, one for the SC cruise and one for this repo.

To be honest, I would have preferred them to have been credited to my onboard account to save losing out in the exchange rate. But still, to get any money back has to be good. :goodvibes

The taxes for the repo are now less than half they were originally. I am so glad that I persisted in my questioning of how DCL had come up with that original figure. Although I'm still waiting for that full breakdown of the taxes which Karl Holz's assistant promised he would provide ......;)
