My best friend from high school asked me to get her some Retinal-A cream. I got her some when I was in Costa Rica a few years ago, and it was definitely cheaper there.
That's definitely the strangest souvenier request I've ever heard!

Along with making excursion plans, I will be checking on line for the location of a pharmacy. My best friend from high school asked me to get her some Retinal-A cream. I got her some when I was in Costa Rica a few years ago, and it was definitely cheaper there.
Angie, I saw you posted under the URGENT thread... Did you follow all those events this morning?? I did... I couldn't pull myself away from the computer. I kept checking for minute-by-minute updates... since that was about how it was going there for a bit. I cried when I thought about what that must be like to have all of your money and passports stolen. I cried when I thought they weren't going to be able to go. I cried when I found out they could go. And boy did I cry when they made it onboard with only 7 minutes to spare!! Everyone should read this thread! It is a lesson in what bad people are out there, and a reminder to take extra precautions, and how a little pixie dust (OK, a whole heck-of-a LOT, here) can go a LONG way... and how it's all about that special brand of Disney MAGIC!!!
There's a farmacia right there at the pier in the Punta Langosta mall. I remember seeing it as we were on our way back to the ship in November. I was looking around as we were waiting for an elderly gentleman to go ahead of us on the escalator... an elderly gentleman who I noticed had a really cool vintage Mickey 'hawaiian' shirt on... an elderly gentleman who turned out to be... ROY DISNEY!!!!!![]()
They try to have the whole ship cleared by 9am. It will only be later than that if there was a problem.
As long as it's a multi-day ticket, I'm pretty sure you don't need to decide before you get to the park. If it's just a single day, I'd probably just wait and buy the ticket when I got there.
Providing the ship has no problems clearing customs, DCL usually begins allowing passengers off the ship about 7:30 a.m. They require everyone to be out of their staterooms by 8 a.m. and work hard to ensure that the last passengers are off the ship by 9 a.m.
Anyone know what time usually the breakfast start on the last day of the cruise? Thanks so much....
Yes, breakfast is really early on the last day. Does anyone remember if we can order some pastries to the room in the morning?? Or is it not available that morning??
Just be really organised the night before (you anyway have to send your suitcases off by leaving them outside your stateroom) and you will be fine.
Way too early
It's looking good for those of us waiting on a refund of our fuel surcharge! I know we'd all love an OBC!!!
Today's price: $67.79
Only 12 days to go until 9/17! Keep your fingers crossed!!!![]()
No, no, no!
Since our last oil update on 9/5, the price of oil has risen $.88!
Today's price: $68.67
10 days to go until 9/17... we have to stay under $70!
Yes, WAY too early!!! Because we've always had early seating at dinner, we've always been scheduled for an early seating at our final breakfast. It's so early though that we've never actually made it! I seriously doubt that we ever will!
Ugh... I got nothing done this weekend for the cruise. Only 5 more weekends at home until our cruise!!!!!
I didn't either --- and I only have 4 weekends left!Actually, I did book our stingray excursion in Grand Cayman... maybe that counts for something! Oh, and I also ordered some things that we needed! I'm going to pack a bit next weekend, hopefully.
