We spent the night at my brother-in-law's house Friday night and my sister-in-law shared some of her Easter candy with me. I thought of you.

Thats nice!:rotfl:
Did you eat it?
I actually purged the cheap chocolate the day after our convo....LOL
I found some gummies that were harder than rocks! YUCK!

My opinion on the FE issue......
I think it would be fun to do....maybe just for the kids?
We could compile a list of all the kids on the cruise and the FE gifts could be doled out for them????
Just a thought!

We found 2 platic easter eggs in our yard this weekend! One had a box of Nerds in it and I let my DS eat them, the other had jellybeans which I was more concerned about so I threw them away.

This is our first cruise so I don't have any experience with FE, but another option is to have one for adults and one for kids, that way you and opt in to either one or both depending on your preference?

I went shopping today to get some summer clothes as an early b-day present to myself :goodvibes and picked up a few sundresses/sandles I can wear on our cruise. I'm getting so excited!

That's definitely in keeping with this discussion of meeting up at Carlos and Charlies. I hate to be a naysayer about something without offering an alternative, but, just as Pete's not in favor of Pirate names (I'm referring to his post of some months ago), I am not in favor of alcohol related names.

Morning All,

Just to clarify, I don't have a problem with a pirate theme. I think it was another poster.

Thanks!
Pete

Can you tell me more about this? I am assuming it is like Secret Santa.

Yes, Secret Mickey is basically just like Secret Santa. You leave small gifts throughout the cruise (and leading up to the cruise too, if that's what the group decided) for your partner/partner's family... then, apparently, a "reveal" is scheduled towards the end of the cruise where the main Disney or cruise-related gift is exchanged in person. I've never participated, but our 4-10-10 cruise is planning a Secret Mickey.

Pete,
I really like your neverland graphic in your signature. Along those lines is what I was thinking of as a Theme or name. I am just not feeling my creative juices flowing to come up with something to be used.

Kimberly,

Count me out as to being creative with photoshop or something else.. But in the Just for Fun section of the boards, there is a DISigns group that will create something if you ask. I used them to create my graphics before our cancelled cruise.

yazee1,

I am also not in favor or a acholol related theme either, given that we will be traveling with our daughter.

Thankful that we have a short week this week, because I am finding it hard to get back into the swing of work.

Yahoo... I already have it marked on the calendar on when we need to make our final payment and when we can star making our reservations. Would love to do the Brunch, Tea and Dinner at Palos. I assume we can book all three.

You can book all 3. ;)

Senor Frogs....With kids or without? I like that idea but I don't think it's something we would do with our kids.

I wouldn't recommend that anyone bring kids. We've always taken our kids into Cozumel early, and then we brought them back to the ship before heading over for drinks.

It's pretty crazy... and that's what makes it so fun! ;)

Both Senor Frogs and Carlos'n Charlie's are worth checking out. My suggestion is that we meet at Senor Frogs around 2 and then head down as a group to CnC around 3:30 or so. The two share a building, so it's very easy to do!

The All Aboard time is usually 6:30, so we should have plenty of time.

Hi Laura,

Thanks! I grabbed the graphic photobucket and used paint.net to add the text. If a theme/name is decided upon, I can grab a relevant picture from photobucket add the text and then post it out to the group for others to use.

Only two eggs missing? You have good egg hunters! Where were these last two eggs hidden?

I just saw that airfare went up today by about $10 a ticket (I know it isn't much, but it will add up if I don't catch it at the right price) for the dates we were looking at. I heard that fuel prices will be going up soon, so I am thinking of booking tickets this week.

That means we have to decide on any extra days for WDW.

Just wondering where everyone is from? I haven't made it through all the previous posting yet, so just point me back if this questions was asked already.:rolleyes1

Who is coming the furthest? Wendy and Sue look like they are both from the UK

Who lives near the port?

I am from Arizona, not that far, but when flying it takes all day to get to Florida.

Anyone else from the desert? We are starting to heat up now, ready to find someplace cool to vist for the summer.

Lucky1.

We are from New York. Not a far flight to FL at all. We also drove down two years ago, we drove down to the Keys, Not in one day, but what a beautifl drive down the coast. The houses were beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never been out west before and can't imagine what it is like to live that far from the ocean. Have you always lived there. I hear the scenery is just breathtaking.......

If you book your flights on Southwest you can change your dates around however you like with no fee - just the difference in fare if there is one. I love Southwest! :goodvibes

I am learning to love Southwest now, especially since they don't have some outragous fees and charge for luggage.

Unfortunately from Tucson to MCO the flights are not that great, but will look for some ding deals, but sometimes flight times are more important than saving a few $.

Since we had to cancel our May 16th cruise, I have tickets on American that I need to reuse, unfortantely we lost $150 off each ticket by cancelling.

I use Kayak dot Com or Sidestep dot com to search for flights. I need to go look for SW now.

Bourgie - I have lived in California and Seattle, so close to the Pacific and Water. I have been in Arizona for a number of years, we are only 5-6 hour drive to San Diego so we can get to the ocean.

You should really come out west some time. Grand Canyon, Canyon Lands, The Pacific ocean on the California, Oregon and Washington Coast are specatcular. Not really at all like the Atlantic waters in coastal Georgia or Florida.

I am looking out my window right now at a Saguaro (Catcus with the arms).

Lucky 1:
We are from Indian Trail, North Carolina, which is just over the county line from Charlotte. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and my DH is originally from Latrobe, PA.

We booked our flights the other day. We could have driven but decided to use our Capital One Miles for airfare. This will be the first time our kids have flown so they are excited. Charlotte is in the top 3 most expensive cities to fly out of...ugh!
