How many posts do I have to post before i lose the earning my ears logo next to my name. I already have two years for crying out loud. I can hear pretty good. Sometimes, it is just a little selective.

Does anyone have any excursions planned? I am not sure we will do much. Maybe just a little shopping. I would like to go to southern most point. If it is not too expensive to get there. This will be our first cruise ever, so we are trying to be a little cheap. But I do plan on spending a dollar, or maybe two.

I am catching up to that Goofy4Ever woman. One more good day of posting and I will be way ahead of her. She will not even know what hit her. But she will probably call me a smart a--, and then steal my idea.

Well what shall I write for these last two posts so that page seven is mine?

I know what I will write. I well write absolutely nothing.

Well if we hurry up and keep writing posts every day, we will soon be on page 77. And when that happens, I am going to claim that page as well. Then I will have page seven and seventy seven....7 7 7. Then I am going to the casino, so I can win a lot of money, and upgrade to a category one. Do not worry. I will invite you all in for a visit. Oh sorry all. I fell asleep and was having a great dream. Must mean i am tired. Good nite all.

Especially that Goofy4Ever. She yells at me for not posting and then she does not even post. I would of thought that she would have at least posted something before she went to work. She is so not dedicated.

Hooray Doberlady. I am not the only one online. I have to go to work soon, but I still have time for a few more posts.

I am obsessed with the drink picture thread. It makes me thirsty

Yeah. Soon, I will start reading up on a few threads to get some ideas as to do a few creative things. I know one group did DIS Tag, where everyone makes or gets a small item and you have to "tag" the next person on your list after you have been tagged. If you still have people left that you have not tagged by the end of the week, you just go through and tag them anyways. It was kind of creative. Many people did things from their hometown. I was also thinking about some type of door hangar type deal. Do you guys have main seating or late seating?

We have the main seating (thank goodness). I would love for us to do the swap kinda thing. I am also looking forward to door decorations.

Cool. We also have main dining. First we had the late dining, but then changed it to main didning. I am trying to get a few more posts in so that when Goofy4Ever comes online, she will see that I have been posting. I am trying to get my posts up to 40. Then we will be tied. I have no life outside of DIS and work. Just kidding. Wife is working. Son is at daycare. Daughter is at school. I was suppose to be cleaning. I will just tell my dear wife that I overslept. That should work, but I will probably still be in the doghouse.

This is true, very true. I just hate working second shift. I start at 3pm and dont get done until usually one or two am. Every Tuesday I get to leave at 11:30 pm, but the rest of the days are usually later. It sucks because by the time I get home, my family is sleeping, and by the time I wake up, they are all gone already.

My father was a paid firefighter for 35 years. I spent my whole life with 3 nights on 4 days off- 3 days on 2 days off. When he went in for nights we would have to eat dinner at 4pm. When we got older he was never home for holidays as he would take the younger guys with small kids shifts so they could be home with their little kids.

I wish it were that easy for me. Unfortunately I am a paid on call firefighter, well captain. Lol. So I have drills and meetings once a week, sometimes more. Then I am on call three days on, three days off. But I am a manager in a warehouse at a large beverage company. So I have a whole lot going on. I also used to work with the American Red Cross on what is called a Disaster Action Team, but have given that up due to my lack of time. It was much easier before I was married and had kids. But I will give up the fire department before I give up my wife and kids.
