Some of my favorite songs aren't from the animated movies...
Probably my most favorite is "Let's get together" from the original The Parent Trap. I love "The Life I Lead" from Mary Poppins and also "Ballad of Davey Crockett." I guess I am strange. I like some of the obscure stuff. :upsidedow

That's not to say that I don't love all the other great stuff that is fun to sing along to!

Lets get together, yeah yeah yeah

I love it, was one of my favorite moves growing up and DD likes it too as well as the new verision.

Just one song..."You'll Be In My Heart" in the Tarzan movie. When my oldest was four years old, he would sing it to me. I get teary just remembering it and I am not a sentimental person.

I can remember when they would show it on World of Disney (or whatever Disney family night they were doing at the time)...

"It's the Parent Trap.... Starring Haley Mills, and ...(dramatic pause) Haley Mills!"

I'm Susan! No, I'm Susan! We're not going anywhere until you figure out which one of us is which!

I would have to go with Zipidee Doo Dah. It is something we sing on a regular basis in my household and we just saw Song of the South for the first time a couple of weeks ago.

Angie - thanks for the offer, not sure if you would like us crashing will all our luggage. :rotfl2: DH got a pin code for free dinning during that time, so we are look at that too.

Still waiting for hear back from our "people" on whether they can accomodate us in an SUV... I got a note yesterday asking if I'd agree to a new policy for cruise pick-ups (they now wait 30 minutes past scheduled pick-up time for free / $50 for every 1/2 hour you are late), but I haven't received confirmation back on our ressie. I hope they email soon... I'd like to start looking for a van with another company if I need too!

Have you decided on a resort yet, Laura?

Time is really starting to fly! Our family leaves in just 85 days!!!

Who suggested Outlander? I got it the audiobook from the library and imported it to my ipod. Twenty-eight CD's!

That may have been me......in response to a remark someone made about Scotsmen in kilts!

No we haven't settled on our plans yet for wht resort we will stay at. Unfortuantely our Pin code you had to stay 4 nights to get free food for 5 days. We just could not swing that and plus I said a while ago, I would not make a trip just about food. :rotfl2:

I am probably going to cancel the front half of our DCL transfers and hire a car company to take us to the port, so we can get to the port when it opens. We will probably cancel our Hyatt reservation as well. We would take DCL back to the airport, so we don't have to worry about our luggage and our flight does not leave until 2pm so we have plenty of time.

Any recommendations on Car company or limo company? We have used Florida Town car and Tiffany in the past before Magic express came on board.

mmmmm.... kilts. There you guys go again.
Just so you all know...
I'm having surgery on the 27th. I might not feel like sitting here (maybe on the laptop in the bed) but look for lots more posts from me as I will be home for 3 weeks! I hope I don't drive everyone nuts! I will be talking about all kinds of off the wall stuff, I'm sure! :rotfl:

Well we did get confirmation back on our SUV ride... our driver doesn't think it will be a problem fitting our party of 7 (2 adults, 5 children) into an SUV since we'll only have 5 bags (4 - 29" & 1 - 26") & an umbrella stroller. I'm glad we're able to use these guys again since they are friendly, dependable, and their pricing is lower than anything else I can find. Laura, I'll send you the name of the company since I can't post it here on the Dis! It will come out like ****** if I try! :confused3

Anyway, we've scheduled pick-up at 8:45 a.m. so that should put us at port right about 10 a.m. Maybe those of us that are going early can have a mini-meet in the terminal! :thumbsup2

Hi there fellow cruisers. I am so sorry I have been absent for a while just very busy with work and all. I will have our cruise paid by sat before 9 P.M. so I can book Palo tea on Monday and Brunch on Thursday. Well thank god we have DVC or we probably could not go on the trip as we could not pay for the pre and post cruise stays and that is a deal breaker. Really looking ofrward to the three nights before at Saratoga Springs, but really looking forward to my 1 bedroom club level for 5 nights after the cruise.

Just bring that laptop to bed so you can continue chatting - and cruise planning - with us!!!

I hope it's nothing serious, Penny - and that you'll have a speedy recovery! I've marked my calendar and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers on the 27th.

here are our plans, we booked at 105 days,

we booked palo diner on day 4 (tuesday)
palo brunch and palo tea on day 6 (thursday)

key west we are just going to walk around on our own, bring our own gps and plan ahead where the interesting things are.

grand cayman we are doing the Stingray City Reef Sail & Snorkel

cozumel we are doing scuba diving.

that's it for us! we have the romance package (it's our honeymoon!!!) so we have unlimited access to the tropical forest thingy at the spa, hopefully it'll be worth it. I think for the fact that we got to book at 105 days, the romance package was a good choice. Because it's our first time cruising I just booked through disney but most likely next time I'll book on my own, ppl seem to save a lot of money that way!
