We just got back from a great day of white water rafting!! We did catagory 4 rapids and our teens loved it!! We celebrated Father's Day there and the night before we enjoyed camping under the starlight night in Buena Vista/Nathrop Colorado!!

Thanks for the updates, I love the iron on idea for the t-shirts. Also we are game with whatever the group consensus is. If we all meet at the same time maybe when they open, we may be able to secure a place in Parrot Cay.

However, I also liked oybolshoi's mad genius idea about the appetizers

Holy Cow!! I just noticed that not only are we both on deck 7 but we are both staying at the Hyatt on Friday night before the cruise!!

May want to consider that Deck 10 (and all the upper Decks) is prob going to be pretty packed on the first full day at sea. All the 'chair hogs' enjoying the sun might make it a little difficult for this large a group.
The idea of a meet at the Promenade Lounge is (in my opinion) a great idea. I don't believe they schedule any early afternoon activities...so, we *should* almost have the entire area to ourselves. If they do have a singer...it's a short walk to the forward lounge areas. Suggestion - 30-45 minutes before our meet...might be nice to inform the people at this lounge as they prob won't be staffed to handle 40 people 'just dropping in'.

we are gett'n close...the thought of this trip is gonna get me through another hot Arizona summer - for my DW...knowing that all 3 DD's will be in school - all day - in early August

I'm perfectly fine with the idea of meeting in the promenade lounge - it's one of our favorite places to hang out before dinner...so why not start a little early?

They make a mean lemondrop martini at that bar...

I also like the idea of a meet in the Promenade Lounge. It seems to me that bringing the kids along might be a good thing as well. It would provide an opportunity for many of them to meet a similar-aged child or two outside of the larger-group setting of the Lab or Club.

Ok I am leaving work early and headed to Six Flags & Hurricane Harbor! DD and I are going to float the Lazy river for a couple of hours and then ride the screaming Eagle!!!
