Hey could someone direct me as to how to add a picture of our family to the bottom of my posts, like so many others have done. I was able to add one to the photo section of the yahoo site without any difficulty...(it was pretty self explanitory) but I have searched and searched the user control panel to try to figure out how to do it here and can't seem to find any answers.

I wish I could offer you the directions - I stumbled through this myself :badpc: You can do a search through the Technical Support forum for instructions. From memory (what's left of it at least) You will need to post your photo on a web site and add this 'photos web address' to your profile in Users Control Panel. Take a look at the below post..this really-really helped me

:goodvibes Welcome Hitomi!!! :goodvibes

Michelle I'm so sorry to hear about your foot. hope you feel better real soon.

Griselda,
1st off, hope my little joking didn't hurt your feelings.... I just got the urge to have a little fun.... As for the Jet Ski, try calling DCL.... they may be able to help.. now the serious answers to those questions:

1. 1PM Sunday Deck 10 above the coffee/alcohol spot.
2. I think we bring the kids.... let them get aquainted as well.. although no biggie if you don't
3. Swimming with dolphins sounds real cool.... we're going "low budget" on excursions though.
4. see #3 - and see what I typed above.
5. I think we might bring bubbles... go to Dollar General or Dollar Tree and get a container of them.

I got the greatest laugh from the cubbie sticker post from Jen.... good try.... we'll include you in the Baseball Banter club. Cubs and D-backs and Cards oh my! Cubs are doing great this week! they're leading the Loser Golf League by 10 strokes...

Later,
Paul

Suzie,

Did you just call AVIS 1-800 # to rent the car in St.Marteen??? I would like to reserve a jeep for the day,but I did not want to have to put a deposit down...Let me know? :confused3

At work yesterday they taped up my little toe and it is helping a lot! I think it is just really bruised! Nothing broken!! It better be ok by next week!!!! I have too many cute sandals that I need to wear! :rotfl:

I will bring Jo Jo with me too the meet.

Gary has never cruised and so he has no Idea what to expect...He does not say to much. Just listens to me and probably thinks I am crazy! I told him that I always cry when I first get sight of the Disney Ships! ::MickeyMo He just does not understand. He is excited about going though! After all he is the one that begged me to add him to this trip!!!!! ;)

Hey Michelle,
I just did everything online, www.avis.com, and when it asks for location look for "St. Martin" (I have never seen an island spelled so many ways :confused3 ) anyways I just followed the prompts and choose St. Maarten Dock. I also called the 1-800 number and she confirmed that it was at the cruise docks, you do have to walk to their office, but it didn't sound far. Good Luck!! :earsboy:

Thanks Suzie!
I just went out on Avis and rented a Jeep Wrangler to pick up at 9:00 am at the Dock location and return at 5:00 pm.

My total was only $62~~ :cool1: ~~

Cheaper than any excursion I could book!

Thanks for the info....No deposit is nice!! Who knows what the weather will be...I am praying for Sunshine! :sunny:

The Tooth-Tag Fairies have been busy at work and we thought it was time that we posted some general information for our fellow toothsome cruisers...

1) DISmeet will take place at 1PM - Deck 10, just above the Cove Cafe, Sunday October 16th.

2) There will be a 5-10 minute get together at the end of said meet where Kevin will hand out the Magnets and taglists for those of us participating in the game. I believe he will be posting the list in the Yahoo forum today or tomorrow if you want to take an early look at it - general game guidelines have been included.

3) There will be a follow-up DISmeet at 1PM on Thursday, October 20th - same place - for those of you who would like to share experiences, post-tag warm fuzzies, or engage in a basebrawl game. :teeth:

I think that covers it...hope to see eveyone there!

Hi Everyone--

Which is better? Please advise... is it quieter at Parrot Cay, how about the food selection. I tried to post on the general forum but somehow it didn't show up..

Michelle - hope you get well regarding your foot..

Welcome to the new Disers---

Please advise. :cool1: :flower:

FinVicMom,

Thanks for the well wishes on my foot..I think it will be fine by next week...Just no Kickboxing class this week..Dang it!! Trying to work out before this cruise and it is getting messed up!! :guilty: I have cut out sweets for 2 weeks and it is killing me!! :rotfl2:

Anyway about the first day.....Dining.....I love Topsiders Buffet :sunny: I love to stake out a table outside under the awning and take in the sights and sounds of the bay..... :sunny: Ecspecially if is a nice day to sit outside! Then we go get our big A_ _ shrimp and enjoy a Bahama Mama!! I just don't want to be stuck inside...... If you are on board early you can be one of the first to the buffet and get a great table. I know the first ones in line will be all of us from this thread!! :earboy2:

So it is up too you,but I vote for Topsiders! :cheer2:

we did the buffet at parrot cay on our first cruise, because we didn't know we had a choice. We were kind of just directed there as soon as we boarded. I have heard that Topsiders is a lot noisier and more crowded but not until later in the day. We will be early and plan to try it out this time. I have a question about formal night....how many of you guys out there are wearing tuxes. I have been trying to pursuade my hubby and he won't budge...he's just bringing a suit, even though I plan to get all dolled up. Found a great pair of gold heels to go with my dress. Of course since I have been chasing after little kiddo's/running a daycare business for the last 8 years...I have no idea how to walk in them!! So when I trip and fall on my face (probably in someone's lobster) you guys aren't allowed to laugh o.k.!!! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I prefer Parrot Cay over Topsiders - I think Topsiders is too crowded although those deck tables are awesome if you can get one.

Diane - my husband will be wearing a tux on formal, semi-formal, and Palo dinner nights. He did the same last year - there were plenty of men who did the same. And there were plenty who didn't. :teeth:

Yes...I would say that Parrot Cay may begin quieter...but could get a little loud as it fills up. It appears they try to direct people to Parrot Cay first...then send the overflow to Topsiders. As far as I've heard...the buffet line is the same at either restaurant.
Our personal favorite is dining al Fresco from Topsiders. If the weather is nice...no rain or strong wind...I'll chose Topsiders every time. The huge peal and eat shrimp are soooooo good. We will prob try to get a table around the Mickey Pool...my DD's are soooo looking forward to the Mickey Slide.
