Happy Friday!

I've not seen any newer Eastern Navigators than 9/1/2007 - we have these on our Yahoo Groups web site - under Files - zzzzzzz09012007 Eastern Navigators.doc

The below photo requires no guessing...just some mind-wondering entertainment - have a seat....go ahead...may I pour you a glass...breathe in the smells of the sea...feel the warm sun on your face....relax...enjoy this moment

Yippee!

Cruise docs came today!

Quick question:

They included a Bahamian Immigration Form for each of us.

Is that in case we divert to the Western itinerary?

Do I have to go back to work..? two weeks from right now (12:00 noon) I'll be leaving for home, and then it's about packing the car and driving to Newark....:cool1:

The UPS guy WILL come today, he WILL!!!

Congrats on the Docs...:dance3:

I don’t believe so. IMHO…the reason for a Bahamian Immigration Form is one of two reasons – 1) the ship is registered in Nassau, Bahamas….or….2) our last scheduled stop is Castaway Cay --- a Bahamian island.

aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:cloud9:

Alright. The time is "up" for my AAA chickie. My DH called her to see what's up and she did the ole "I'm not worried; you have a reservation; it'll show up soon" bit. AARRRRRGGGGHHHH! Can I be a pirate now and make her walk the plank! pirate: WHAAAAAAAAAA. :sad1: Alright. I'm done venting for now. :) Thanks for listening. As for that bottle of bubbly, forget the dang glasses, just give me a long straw! :) Oh and, can I have chocolate covered strawberries with that. :) :lmao: I'm going nuts here today. My boss decided to really have me type my fingers to the bone today. I mean, gee, on a Friday. What what he thinking. :rolleyes1 And, I don't have documents and I don't get a call yet again this week from the adoption agency. I'm telling ya. Heads are gonna roll. :rotfl: LOL. Alright, I'm really done venting now. No really. :)

Anyway, on that note, have a great weekend everyone. I'll be checking in periodically on Saturday but probably won't get here on Sunday. I have a huge church event on Sunday afternoon. I'm in our church choir (we have about 115 members) and, in addition to our normal singing in church in the morning (we get there at 8am and don't leave til 11:30 or even later) we have an awesome concert we're in with 4 other churches in our area. We're mixing races and such and it's just something this area has needed for a LONG time. We're singing 8 songs (at least I think it's 8) and there will be a total of about 230 voices that afternoon. Yes, this is more than you needed to hear but hey, I'm excited to sing with all these fabulous people. But anyway, back to my point. Because of all these commitments and the times they start and finish, I won't get home on Sunday until close to 10:00pm. I'll be too darn bushed to get on the computer. Soooo, I'll check back in with ya on Monday! Gosh, only 15 days til we're sailing away! :)

You are all loved! Have a blessed weekend! Kristi

Kristi - I am with you! I called DCL and they said the documents were mailed to the TA. I just want the luggage tags :sad2: .

I've been looking at some old cruise pictures and came across this one-- Anyone want to go swimming :scared1:

OMG!!!:scared1: I don't want to see anything like that in 2 weeks! What time of year was that? Our first cruise was in February 2004 and the winds were so bad we couldn't dock at CC. :scared1: :scared1:

That was the last week of Oct 2005 right after Hurricane Wilma. I remember I had a hard time standing still while taking the photo:lmao: Actually the waves would get even higher but I couldn't time my picture taking just right. Everyone was joking that to walk straight, just have a few drinks :rotfl2:

We are cruising for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, with our kids. Any advice is welcome. On our honeymoon we cruised on a clippers ship so it was quite different. Is there a place on board to store a stroller? I have not been able to get a Palo reservation and have been trying since July. Is there still a chance that we can get in once we are on board? I was surprised that there were no reservations available in July already. Honestly quite disappointed since we are celebrating our anniversary.

Kids (7 and 3) can't wait. They are counting down the days.
Mila

So I just noticed that this thread started last year, I guess that explains the Palo reservations. Still, any advice to a newcomer is appreciated.

They have arrived:banana: DW just sent me a text message....I won't get to see them until around 9-10 as tonight is my turn to do Bingo at DD's school....

Mila,
I am traveling with 10 adults and we all have Palo reservations but on different nights. I am going to try to change those reservations so that they fall on the same night so we can be together. If they can accomodate us that SHOULD open up some reservations on the other nights for other folks. I believe, and somone can correct me if I'm wrong, but you have to go to Rockin Bar D fairly soon after boarding to make any changes/requests/reservations at Palo.

Mila ~ I believe Rockin' D is the place you should head to as soon as you board (as Claudine&John mentioned) for Palo rezzies.
Also, this is our first cruise EVER and I learned A LOT from reading these boards. Great tips on what to pack, etc...
The rooms are a good size so if your stroller folds, I'm sure it'll fit in the closet or under the bed. The cruise people will even store your car seat if you are bringing one.

Two weeks from today and we'll be in WDW. :cool1:
Two weeks from tomorrow...Bon Voyage!!:yay: :yay: :yay:

Have a great weekend, Cruisapoloozans!:grouphug:
