Hello Everyone, Tonight I'm going to pay our deposit for this cruise!! I'm booking through DU. This will be our second cruise (Wonder 4 day Oct 2005 during Wilma!!!). It's me, DH and DD (age 9 cruise time). I could kick myself for not booking on the boat last time. Live and learn! Cathy

P.S. Our anniversary is October 22! (10/22/1994)

Can we do a recap on names and ages?
Me, DH, DD9, (Maryland)- deck 7

Welcome to the thread, seagee!

We'll almost definitely rebook onboard... lots of time left to pick our next date, still.

Mike, DW Julie, DD Emily - Deck 7

Our DD's birthday is 10/22/2005. :thumbsup2

Welcome seagee to you and your family! :sunny:

bevtoy, the box idea is great. I have been just so absolutely busy that I have barely even checked these boards. :) Although I did pick some stuff up at archivers for scrapbooking after the cruise.

After much negotiating & lot's of consideration we got a puppy. The kids named him George & he's the cutest thing ever, but lot's of work. Fortunately the kids have done almost everything. He's a good little guy too and we have literally taken him everywhere with us.

Also, today is our anniversary, but my DH is in Hawaii right now for his Navy A/T. We will have to celebrate when he get's home in a few weeks.

~Take care everyone. :)

I don't think they have the 2006-2007 books out yet - Julie and I just received that one as well. :confused3

Thanks for the info....guess I better be patient and wait for it. I like the 2006 one and am trying to think of a creative way to use it for a door magnet.

I still need to head to Home Depot and grab the Mickey paint thingys for Julie.

We already have a magnetic dry-erase board... just need to decorate it. That's right down her alley - she's very artistic and loves to scrapbook and such.

Oh no no... we can't be on page 3!

Hi everyone! Me again. :wave2: I had forgotten to check this board till DH was talking about the cruise last night. Next October is just WAY too long to go without seeing the mouse, so we're planning a Feb. 2007 trip with the kids.

Anywho, I was just checking in!!

Jenn

Jenny2 thanks for saving us from page three purgatory.;) Anyone see Pirates of the Carribean yet? We saw it tonight.

Julie and I went to the noon showing opening day. It was AWESOME!

I can't wait until the 3rd now though. Talk about making you want more!

Yep, went to the drive in last night and saw Cars and Pirates :) It's a bit distracting being at the drive ins - getting the kids settled and all that, lol - so I really need to see it again to "get it", lol.

Does everyone have passports, or do you need to order yours?

We just got ours after that huge fiasco I discussed earlier. DD's is SO cute!

So nice to have that process (and expense, yikes!) out of the way.

Hello everyone!

Wow, it seems like it's been FOREVER since I've posted on the DIS, but what better way to re-introduce myself than to join this thread!

Booked through DU, actually was suppose to go this October but can't, so I moved the ressie to this one.

Right now, it's me(29) and a couple girlfriends, a nice girls trip. :cheer2: I can't believe how far away it is, but hopefully I'll get a little Disney fix in between now and then.

Haven't read back through the whole thread yet, so hopefully I haven't missed much. I still have to get my passport, DU just sent me an email letting me know. Guess I have time...lol :hourglass

Welcome Dana!!

I haven't gotten our passports either. Being the procrastinator that I am I'd better get it soon... or I'll end up waiting till the last minute and having to express it!!

Hi all! We just booked our first cruise ever today! I am so excited that I can hardly stand it!!! I look forward to getting to know you over the next 15 mos and hope to meet up in person on the cruise!

A little background: My name is Tracy and I live in MA. I will be going to celebrate my 10 year anniversary with dh Jeff and our dd Alex who will be 8, almost 9 when we cruise. We are Disney lovers, with 6 WDW trips under our belts. I was a bit apprehensive about skipping WDW, but was convinced by DIS board members to take the cruise only.

Talk to you soon!! Tracy :)

We're from Mass, too, lol!

And I love how quickly you added that ticker :)

LOL! I told the TA from All Seasons that I was going to scream in excitement when I got off the phone! I can't wait!!!!! Our anniversary is on the 18th of Oct. so we're hoping to get a table at Palo's that night. I saw in another thread that you're leaving the kids with their grandparents. Lucky you! Dd hasn't been on a cruise so she'll be excited. :cool1:
