We will have an Embarkation Day Meet & Greet. I still need to get DCL to tell me where's a good place to have it. If we were on the Magic or Wonder I'd know, but I've never been on the Dream.

I assume FP is fast pass? We ate there a few months ago for lunch by just walking up...waited maybe 15 minutes.

Yep, FP = Fast Pass. I understand from the other forums that wait times for lunch have been getting longer and longer since they rolled out the FP dining option. I've been trying for weeks to get a reservation with no luck. Today, times and date finally showed up for October.

We are doing MNSSHP that night as well. I will be curious what you think of lunch - we had dinner there and I was not especially impressed although the venue is awesome.

Well, all the tasks on the list prior to that final laundry and packing are done. We leave next SUNDAY! I need to finalize that packing list (so far, the weather predictions for the week we are in WDW are high 80's) and can begin to lay some things out so that I can get it all in the suitcases next Saturday without any thinking or decisions.

Looking forward to this cruise!! We booked about 2 months out on a VGT and just got our room today- makes it feel so much more real! Very happy to be up on deck 9 (actually we'd be happy anywhere on the ship!). Packing soon and on the ship in 13 days!

Fish extender gifts are small, inexpensive gifts given by DIS board cruisers that sign up to be on the list. It is something fun to do during the cruise. The participation list is closed for this cruise as of 9/13 though. I can assure you though the cruise itself, with pirate night and the Halloween party will be very memorable! Folks that have posted in this thread and their friends are having a meet and greet on embarkation day at 2 pm at Waves on deck 12. Stop by and say hi. Perhaps your kids can meet some other kids their age. I am sure your kids will have a great time in the kids clubs too.

Thanks. I have noticed quite a few North Alabama folks on this cruise. Kind of crazy. Hopefully everyone is an Auburn fan. Just kidding. We are stoked to cruise.
